Thanks SDS, great tribute to a great board member. He will be missed. Rest in peace brother.

Has been placed on IR, out 4 weeks min
-
FTR Carter is now on IR. I dunno what DTs are out there for us, but we need one desperately. Carter was playing well and Jones and Oliver are really not.
-
Bernard is in and out every other week, he cannot stay healthy this year. If you think Spector playing as a starter is going to do anything other than cost us games, you're welcome to live in that world. Milano and Bernard are both injury-prone at a very important position. Dorian Williams is not a backup, he is the only starter we have. We need someone like JOK just to field a healthy LB unit. You cannot advance in the playoffs with question marks at the most important position on D. JOK is owed around a million this year, trade for him and sort out who you keep for next year. He is NOT getting paid big bucks, the Browns would eat his bonuses upon a trade.

THIS is a move we really need

Can we trade for a DT now please?
-
I don't see a trade happening that looks like we're "going all in" this season. I dunno why people are out here pretending this past draft wasn't just looking to the future with a plan of taking our medicine, trying to field a competitive team while resetting our cap situation. We got rid of a bunch of higher priced vets while looking to reload with cheaper, younger players. I don't think they expected the rest of the division to look so weak 1/3 of the way through the season and now they are looking to see if we can pick up a few lower cost vets to shore up the D and make a run in the playoffs. The offense is too streaky and the defense is too porous to think we're only a player or two away from winning the SB. I hope our Offense can get it together and learn how to play a consistent game, but I don't think we have the horses on D to do much: not enough team speed, not good enough on the line and always leave the middle of the field wide open. We have beaten pretty bad teams and lost to the good ones we've played. This week should tell us a lot about what kind of team we have cause the Seahawks are pretty good.

I stopped watching and check in so intermittently I didn't even know the show had moved. Why make that stupid decision? The show died when Kay and Nate left, I used to be able to watch because it was at least clear they all got long and I could chuckle at it. The clips I see on X are all boring as hell now and their football "takes" are stale and I don't really care about them.

I want a big ol' 1 tech. I miss the old Daquan. Our run D will cost us big games as porous as it has been. If we shore up the run D we can stay in a 2 high shell, which helps the passing game. Budda Baker is great, but when we play BAL in the playoffs he's not solving our Henry problem.

If Myles Garrett is available.. How much are you willing to offer?

Whoever trades for him is going to get him for a couple games and then suddenly he's going to go on IR to get his feet operated on. Then you're going to have the whole "it takes a while to get back in game shape" discussion when he's average next year. This has the potential to be Von Miller 2.0 in terms of dumping money on a player who isn't impactful for long stretches, only he's going to cost a LOT to get. -
The Bills Defense is Last in Rushing Yards / Attempt

We need a better 1T and a FS. I'm bummed that Bishop got injured and missed the whole offseason, I was hoping he could get up to speed and start as a rookie, doesn't look like he can. -
No. He's a strong safety with diminished skills. Rapp is our SS, we need to replace our FS.

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams

You're talking about a man who is lacks so much self-awareness he goes out in public with that bowl cut. Evidently the resistance is coming straight from him. -
What’s the problem, Allen, Brady, Oline, Talent?
ndirish1978 replied to Meatloaf63's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our OC has not been putting our QB or WRs in positions to succeed. Our OL has not been giving our QB enough time to go through his progressions; as a result we have to leave our TEs and RBs back to block . Our WRs are dropping the passes thrown their way. Josh has been hit too much and doesn't trust that he has time to throw the ball. -
Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
ndirish1978 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
They have the least cash of any team in the league, every week that passes they have to pay his 800k+ salary. The Raiders are not getting the 2nd they want and not retaining salary. Several online talking heads are saying the current offers out there are only 4s. Samuel is on this team til 2026 with the way his contract is structured. We cannot take on a 15M dead cap hit trading him this year. -
You're talking about a fan base that is used to not making it to the end goal and is frustrated because of the huge question marks going in to this season. Do I think our WR corps can be good? Sure. Am I confident in these guys and that they will come up clutch? I don't have an answer for that and I don't enjoy it. Will our safeties be any good? Maybe, but it's hard to have a pair that has great communication when they aren't even playing together now because of all the injuries. There will be a definite drop in S play quality, I think how much it will affect the wins and losses will be a big deal, especially in the division. Milano being out means I can't have confidence in the D as a whole because the LB who stepped up for us last year is not here anymore. We have some pretty big questions at LB, S, WR and if Josh misses any time you can just count those games as losses because we may as well not even have a QB2, Trubisky is awful and I cannot fathom why he's still on the team other than vibes; I haven't seen anything from the other 2 guys to say they could do anything in an NFL game. This year is more of a question mark than any in recent memory for me because I couldn't even tell you what this team is right now and that is disconcerting.

Glad this was a positive vid. I've been watching Kollmann's draft stuff for a bit and he's really good. I enjoyed their discussion about us trading back with KC and laughing that it didn't matter at all. The EPA discussion about the differences between Brady and Dorsey was probably the best thing in the video, I didn't understand how much EPA is affected by chunk plays from worse field position. Watching this makes it even more glaring how little "pro" sports commentators actually watch tape because they took several narratives that I kept hearing out there and pretty much just explained why they are wrong and how dumb it is to buy into them. Very encouraging video and presented by a Texans fan and a Bears fan so you can't blame positive things on homerism. If you're looking for Bills stuffs on youtube you can't go wrong with Bootleg Sports, Cover 1 Buffalo Podcast (Thompsett is the best cap guy on the Bills, Prohaska is pretty decent at film study), LockedOn Bills (Joe Marino founded the draftnetwork and then bounced, you may remember they used to be a decent website and went downhill, that's because he and another founder left to start the LockedOn Network). Their explanation explains the difference in the actual stat and your eyeballs should support the fact that we had a very inconsistent offense that was predicated on big plays in a boom or bust way for the first half of the season and then became much more consistent once we started running the ball regularly. The offense "found" itself when we started running and distributing the ball evenly and that happened when we changed coordinators.
-
I keep reading or watching opinions on our OC based solely on things like EPA. Brett is IMO one of the best analysts out there because he actually watches a TON of tape and isn't just talking head parroting the general narrative that people out there just keep repeating. Gets into the nuts and bolts of the team around the 12 min mark. I really enjoyed this and wanted to share this with you all.

This is the best part of the video. When asked about how if he was ready to go up against NFL CBs "we're both here to do the same thing: make a play and kill one another."

I'm not going to say it's the best before they play. I liked the draft as a whole and didn't care we didn't double dip at WR. We drafted a top 3 rotational DT, perhaps a starting C, goal line RB, possible starting S and people are upset we didn't draft a WR4. This team is going to run the ball a LOT more this year and I'm happy with that. Our defense was in much worse shape than people on this board were talking about and we needed to upgrade at the positions we had strong needs at.
