Genius, Beane wasn't the GM when we made the trade with KC that resulted in Mahomes.

I believe the Bills didn't want Worthy, saw who was picking after than and had a good idea who they were going to pick and realized the Chiefs were going to wind up with Worthy anyway so they traded and picked up a 3rd. Optics are awful for people who wanted worthy, but we obviously didn't want him. I dunno what else they could do, call around and ask everyone "hey we will trade out of the 1st and give you a sweetheart deal if you take Worthy?" I understand the frustration but you can't fixate on a single player when you don't know who the team wants.

There are about 5-6 WRs we could take here. It seems like a natural trade back if that option presents itself.

Cooper could go in the next 2 picks, the teams ahead of us both need CBs and he is a CB after all, projected to S but he can play corner.

Would I enjoy a high trade up, sure! Would I be happy seeing all those picks just disappear so our next pick is on Saturday? Probably not.

I don't get people who hate McAfee. Indifference I can understand. The only people in sports media I dislike are Skip and Wright. Everyone else I treat with varying levels of interest or indifference. The guy's not out there actively trashing the Bills or anything like that.
