Jarvis Landry says Tyrod Taylor looks "amazing"
Estro replied to greenyellowred's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd like to see what Jarvis is saying around...oh let's say week 11, when his receptions are down about 30% from what he's used to. Guys avg. 105 catches a yr over the last 3 seasons. I'd set his over/under this yr. @ about 78 if Tyrods the starter. The volume and production just won't be there with TT as the QB. -
Sports analyst Michael Salfino on Tyrod Taylor/Bills offense
Estro replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The 3 & out % is a very important stat that goes mainly ignored in the media. I called into Schopp and the Bulldog about a yr. ago when Schopp was going on and on about how nice Tyrod was and how he deserved better than the Bills.....to point out the Bills offense was near the bottom of 3 & out % every season under Tyrod. His inability to make the "easy" plays and keep his offense on the field was apparent to any objective Bills fan.....and I think his paltry 3 and out % perfectly captures the frustration so many fans had with Tyrod's ability to lead an offense. -
Does anyone else plan on getting a subscription to The Athletic?
Estro replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No I do not. I refuse to pay for content. There ar4 different methods of making money off of a high traffic sports website and IMO the ones that have adopted a subscription model like the athletic will not work. I much prefer a model like the Ringer, which has advertisements. As far as Tim Graham I had to unfollow him on Twitter years ago because he was such a smart ass. I don't know the man at all but the way he comes across on Twitter was, IMO, not only petty but embarrassing. I like Fairburn's podcast with Joe B.....and I'll just continue to listen to that for free. If they decide to charge for that eventually I'll listen to the next guy who fills the non subscription model vacuum. -
How do you feel about the Buffalo Bills right now?
Estro replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like the 2 most important aspects of an NFL team are: 1. Who's the QB? 2. Who's the HC? In that order of importance. Right now the Bills have a giant ? at QB. And I might be lower on McDermott than most.....but his Sunday game management and aggressiveness leaves a ton to be desired. He appears to be a very organized and prepared coach Mon. - Sat., but his super meek and conservative Sunday decisions leave a ton of pts. On the field -
"Josh Allen is blowing people away" - Chris Simms
Estro replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess Matthew Fairburn and his website follow this site. An article about this very post popped up on their website about an hour ago. This title: "Josh Allen is blowing people away" - Chris Simms NewYorkUpstates title: Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is blowing people away, says Chris Simms" -
Was listening to the Simms & Lefkoe podcast today. Said he's head from a media source and someone w/in the organization that Allen has been blowing people away (in a good way). Listen for yourself. It begins exactly at 40:26

Zay Jones career w/ the Bills: Bills trade the 44th and 91st picks to select Zay Jones at #37 & also get back pick #149. The next 2 WR's selected were JuJu Smith-Schuster and Cooper Kupp at #62 & #69, respectively. Zay Jones (2017): 27 rec. for 317 yds & 2 TD's Juju Smith-Schuster (2017): 58 rec. for 917 yds & 7 TD's Cooper Kupp (2017): 62 rec. for 869 yds. & 5 TD's Zay has a terrible case of the drops all season and all but admits his confidence is struggling Zay has an offseason shoulder surgery Zay's arrested in a scary, bizarre incident at an LA hotel Zay has an unspecified knee surgery About as poor a start as any Bills fan could've imagined. Too bad too, because the next 2 WR's that went off the board look so much better than Zay right now.

How much longer will we have shady?
Estro replied to Cusefan66214's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This will be his last season. I haven't totally written off the idea of him being traded at some point this season if we have a poor record. Not sure another team would want to take on his contract, but if hes having a stellar stat yr. maybe the Bills woiuld look to move him for a mid round pick to a team that has SB hopes and needs a back. -
What's Up With the Buffalo Blitz Paywall?
Estro replied to Keukasmallies's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish this board didn't pin every single BN article at the very top of the list. Almost like an agreement between BN and 2BillsDrive to arrange that. -
Also in the Buff News article is that they found other business related deceit outside of the relationships. I'm very curious what those details are and wouldn't be surprised if that was an even bigger deal and reason he was forces to leave. I've wanted Russ gone for well over 10 yrs. The guy just seemed like such a weasel. I've been to probably 10 road games the last few yrs. and it always concerned me that the Pegulas were chaperoned all over the field pregame by Russ. He had way too much clout in this organization for far too long, IMO.

Draft Day Dark Horse Prediction!!!!
Estro replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
- Bears trade up for Saquan Barkley - Giants take a QB or trade back, nothing else - Lamar Jackson is still on the board Friday night - Reading a lot of Josh Rosen may slip, or if one slips it'll be Rosen......won't happen. Gone by pick #6 at the very latest. - Baker Mayfield doesn't come close to living up to the expectations of a top 10 pick - Saquan Barkley is no where near the slam dunk prospect he's made out to be. Listen to Joe Klatt on the Cowherd show. He has a lot of interesting stats that go against what you normally hear about Barkley. I'd predict a couple of lesser know RB's in this draft end up having longer and more productive careers as RB's in the NFL - Duke Dawson, CB, Florida will be a very good NFL starting CB - The WR out of Missouri, who apparently has his fair share of off the field baggage, is an absolute stud on the field. Speed, size, Antonio Brown like quickness and shiftiness in the open field....I think they call it loose hips. His highlight reel is jaw dropping. -
A couple Bills Rumors from WGR sports talk Saturday
Estro replied to Deep2Moulds46's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% correct. Further evidenced by the fact that they were unwilling to move back to #6 with the Jets and pick up those additional three 2nd round picks. Gettleman may be old school and appreciate his "hog mollies" but he's not dumb enough to turn down that bounty of draft picks unless they absolutely love 1 of the QBs. IMO, it's either Darnold or Rosen the Giants want probably in that order. I happen to think the Bills like the same 2 QBs.....and if both are gone the Bills will not be moving up. -
October 29, 2018- Possible loudest Bills game ever?
Estro replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been to roughly 100 Bills games both home and away the last 20 years. The Dallas Cowboys Monday Night game was far and away the loudest game I've ever been to. My seasons were in Section 114 that season and we stood the entire game, no one sat down. There were points in that game when the Bills were on D, where I was shouting at the top of my lungs and still could not hear myself due to the surrounding noise. That's the only game that has ever happened -
Mayfield to the Jets or just smoke?
Estro replied to ProcessYaDigg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it's smoke. I think the Jets moved up knowing they loved both Darnold and Rosen and had pretty good intel that the Browns were taking Josh Allen. -
Good Bye Gruden QB Camp, Hello Russell Wilson QB2QB series
Estro replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That show seemed super awkward. Russ getting super emotional and philosophical with the guys while they sheepishly nod their head in agreement. Cheesy. -
Should The Bills Let Richie Incognito Out Of His Contract
Estro replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hell no. -
Richie Incognito Retires Via Twitter - Now Confirmed
Estro replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes he's likely realizing the $6.9M mistake he just made. For a guy to forgo almost to 30% of his career earnings by not playing this year, I think he'll quickly realize he shouldn't have walked away from that much $. -
Richie Incognito Retires Via Twitter - Now Confirmed
Estro replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So for accounting purposes: Richie has to give back: $1.15M (prorated SB) $1M (2018 restructure bonus) That's money he's already received that must now be returned to the Bills. He also misses out on the 4.75M he was set to earn in salary and workout bonuses he was set to make in '18. So, hand back $2.15M......and lose out on $4.75M in future earnings over thed next 9 months. That's a $6.9M swing. Assuming he has to return the prorated portion of his '16 signing bonus Richie has earned about $25M over his career. Losing out on $6.9M represents 27.6% of his career earnings......That's a lot if coin to walk away from. I expect Richie to attempt to come back when he realizes the above accounting, whether or not the Bills will want him becomes the ?. -
Probably one of the best places to sign a 1 year deal as a WR. Tom Brady just got Amendola $6M per yr. from the Dolphins.

If the Bills want to get to #4, I think they first need to get to #6....Why? I think the Browns are set on using their #1 pick on a QB.......and another blue chip prospect at #4......I'm guessing that group of blue chippers would include Barkley, Chubb and maybe 1 other guy. The only way the Browns can guarantee themselves 1 of those 3 players would be to not trade down past either #6 or #7 depending on whether 3 or 4 QB's go in the top 7. I just happen to think the Browns will only move down if it's a couple of spots. I'm sure the Bills would know this if true and have many different plans come draft day to get there if needed.

Any deep prospects you guys hope the bills go after?
Estro replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Keion Crossen, CB, Western Carolina, who the Bills put through a private workout, according to Walter Football. -
Rams trying to trade for OBJ per NYDN
Estro replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow that's actually pretty smart, especially if the rumors are true that the Giants really want Darnold
