With the month of April arriving, the last of the spring tidbits will be served as the big summer movie season will soon take off. However, this year the month of April got a surprise as the biggest anticipated movie of the summer(probably the year)was given a bump up from May. This has caused a lot of scrambling by other movie studios to re-position their respective films into earlier or later release dates. No question that some of these movies may not garner as much of a profit as they originally expected, but that's how the movie business is. There are plenty of good offerings this month for moviegoers, but nothing rivals what will be released at the end of the month, as the Summer movie season gets an early kickoff. It all began in 2008. Paramount Pictures, Marvel Studios, director Jon Favreau and actor Robert Downey Jr. gave us "Iron Man". The hope was to bring the Marvel superhero team, known as The Avengers, to the silver screen. Using individual origin movies of each character, that would then lead to the climactic team up. The plan worked. "Iron Man" was a big box office hit and the other films were well received. Since that moment, Disney purchased Marvel, and the series referred to as the Marvel Cinematic Universe was alive. After 18 movies in this series, the penultimate story has now arrived. Disney & Marvel present "Avengers: Infinity War". The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olson, Paul Bettany, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Don Cheadle, Dave Bautista, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Benicio del Toro, Jon Favreau, Karen Gillan, Letitia Wright, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Pom Klementieff, Danai Gurira, Linda Cardellini, Kerry Condodn, the voices of Bradley Cooper & Vin Diesel, & Josh Brolin. Yes, there are other movies this month..... Dwayne Johnson stars in the video game based "Rampage". Primatologist Davis Okoye shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend. Also starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman & Joe Manganiello. Emily Blunt stars in, "A Quiet Place". A family is forced to live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound. Also starring John Krasinski, Noah Jupe & Millicent Simmonds. Amy Schumer stars in, "I Feel Pretty". A woman struggling with insecurity wakes from a fall believing she is the most beautiful and capable woman on the planet. Her new confidence empowers her to live fearlessly, but what happens when she realizes her appearance never changed? Also starring Michelle Williams, Emily Ratajkowski & Busy Philipps. Joaquin Phoenix stars in, "You Were Never Really Here". A traumatized veteran, unafraid of violence, tracks down missing girls for a living. When a job spins out of control, Joe's nightmares overtake him as a conspiracy is uncovered leading to what may be his death trip or his awakening. In "Chappaquiddick", Depicting Ted Kennedy's involvement in the fatal 1969 car accident that claims the life of a young campaign strategist, Mary Jo Kopechne. Starring Jason Clarke, Kate Mara, Clancy Brown & Olivia Thirlby. In "Super Troopers 2", When a border dispute arises between the U.S. and Canada, the Super Troopers are tasked with establishing a Highway Patrol station in the disputed area. Starring Kevin Heffernan, Paul Soter, Steve Lemme, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rob Lowe, Fred Savage, Lynda Carter, Marisa Coughlan, & Brian Cox. In "Blockers", Three parents try to stop their daughters from having sex on Prom night. Starring Leslie Mann, John Cena, Ike Barinholtz, Ramona Young, Kathryn Newton, Geraldine Viswanathan, Gideon Adlon, Gina Gershon & Gary Cole. In "Traffik", A couple off for a romantic weekend in the mountains are accosted by a bike gang. Alone in the mountains, Brea and John must defend themselves against the gang, who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets. Starring Paula Patton, Missi Pyle, Dawn Olivieri & William Fichtner. In "Truth or Dare", A harmless game of Truth or Dare among friends turns deadly when someone -- or something -- begins to punish those who tell a lie or refuse the dare. Starring Lucy Hale, Tyler Posey & Violett Beane. In "Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero", A stray dog - Sgt. Stubby - gets adopted by a soldier while training for World War I. For his valorous actions, Sgt. Stubby is still recognized as the most decorated dog in American history. Starring the voices of Helena Bonham Carter, Logan Lerman & Gerard Depardieu. Finally, in "Duck Duck Goose", A bachelor goose must form a bond with two lost ducklings as they journey south. Starring the voices of Jim Gaffigan, Zendaya & Lance Lim. Honestly, it's not that drastic of a change. I like them going to a different colored helmet.

Who's the one player you want in the draft that's not a QB?
Mark Vader replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Offense: RB Rashaad Penny. I think he will be something special in the NFL, and he would be a great compliment to Shady. Defense: DT Maurice Hurst. I know the heart condition make people nervous, but he would be great to have on our D-Line. I think he will be a terror. -

Come back here after Garoppolo has played an entire season. Then we will talk about the 100% success rate of the second round. -
Drew Brees SCAMMED out of $8MILLION+

Brees should go back to making more of those commercials of his kid kicking the football again. -

Despite the gushing by the national media, I still think that the jury is still out on Garoppolo, but I understand your overall point. We need a QB, and in order to get one, we have to trade up. -

Is it safe to say that the Alamo Dome has the most annoying horn in sports?

Josh Rosen snaps back on Mora comments
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, and if Mora responds, Rosen should leave it alone. He does not want to get into a twitter war. -
Beane is “Trying Like Hell” To Move Up For a QB
Mark Vader replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Tre'Davious White is that valuable, then the Giants can have him, as long as they give us their first round pick(#2) and their fourth round pick(#102). Anything less, then White isn't going anywhere. -

Hell No! Trade draft picks, not players. -
Defensive Line will be tremendous in next year's draft. It's more than Clemson's D-Line that will be available. Our UB expert, Promo the Robot, will chime in and tell you all you need to know. That was a nice video. This kid looks good.

We'll see ya again. GO SHARKS!!!

I think that trade is fair enough. If the Giants are asking for more than that.....Screw them! I would then get on the phone to the Browns and make a similar offer for the 4th pick. If we have to trade our 2019 first round pick, then do it. We need a QB! I know we have issues at other areas, and I don't want to give up all of our picks, but we can't wait any longer on acquiring a blue chip prospect QB. And I don't want to use the 22nd pick on Mason Rudolph. I want us to go after Josh Rosen, but if we end up with Baker Mayfield or Josh Allen, I'll be fine with that. We will finally have a quarterback to build around.

Bring it on! In all seriousness, this will be a very tough game for Michigan. As good as their defense is, they will have to be at their very best. I hope they don't rely so much on their 3 point shooting, they do it far too much, even though they are good at making those shots. They need to attack inside a lot more then they do.

It sucks to be you. GO BLUE!!!
