Draft Wire Full 7 Rd Mock
Mark Vader replied to Chris from Rochester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's quite a dream. Do you think that could actually happen? -
Start winning big games, and things will change. That being said, Michigan is going to be a good team in 2018.

Bills @ Ravens. The team who got into the playoffs at the other team's expense.
-
Go to a team that was 8-5 or go to a team that lost a nail biter in the National Championship Game.

With Oscar nominations announced, the box office pace has slowed down. In times past, the month of February was just another month of dumping grounds for bad movies. Yet, quite recently that trend has been changing, as a few notable blockbusters have been gotten people to visit the multiplexes in droves this time of year, as a precursor to the upcoming spring season. This month has a few films that have potential to be modest to good hits. Although, there is one movie that is drawing considerable interest, as it continues a certain comic book universe. Disney & Marvel present, "Black Panther". T'Challa, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. Also starring, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Sterling K. Brown, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker & Andy Serkis. Clint Eastwood directs, "The 15:17 To Paris". Three Americans discover a terrorist plot aboard a train while in France. Starring Anthony Sadler, Alex Skarlatos, Spencer Stone, Jenna Fischer, Judy Greer, Thomas Lennon & Jaleel White. Natalie Portman stars in, "Annihilation". A biologist signs up for a dangerous, secret expedition where the laws of nature don't apply. Also starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tessa Thompson & Oscar Issac. Jason Bateman & Rachel McAdams star in, "Game Night". A group of friends who meet regularly for game nights find themselves trying to solve a murder mystery. Also starring Jesse Plemons, Chelsea Peretti, Billy Magnussen & Kyle Chandler. 20th Century Fox presents, "Peter Rabbitt". Feature adaptation of Beatrix Potter's classic tale of a rebellious rabbit trying to sneak into a farmer's vegetable garden. Starring James Corded, Fayssal Bazzi, Domhnall Gleeson, Margot Robbie, Daisy Ridley, Rose Byrne & Sam Neill. From Aardman Animations comes, "Early Man". Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, Early Man tells the story of Dug, along with sidekick Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Starring the voices of Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams, Eddie Redmayne & Timothy Spall. Helen Mirren stars in, "Winchester". Eccentric firearm heiress believes she is haunted by the souls of people killed by the Winchester repeating rifle. Also starring Jason Clarke. In "Fifty Shades Freed", Anastasia and Christian get married, but Jack Hyde continues to threaten their relationship. Starring Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Eric Johnson & Eloise Mumford. Finally, in "Every Day", A shy teenager falls for someone who transforms into another person every day. Starring Angourie Rice, Owen Teague & Maria Bello. Calendar with Trailers. 2/2 "Winchester": http://www.cbsfilms.com/winchester/ 2/9 "The 15:17 To Paris": https://www.warnerbros.com/1517-paris "Fifty Shades Freed": http://www.fiftyshadesmovie.com/ "Peter Rabbit": http://www.peterrabbit-movie.com/ 2/16 "Black Panther": http://marvel.com/movies/movie/224/black_panther "Early Man": https://www.earlymanmovie.com/ 2/23 "Annihilation": https://www.paramount.com/movies/annihilation "Game Night": https://www.warnerbros.com/game-night "Every Day": http://www.imdb.com/videoplayer/vi1251457049?ref_=ttvi_vi_imdb_1 That's all for now.....Enjoy!

2018 Oscar Nominations: Predictions
Mark Vader replied to Mark Vader's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I saw "Get Out" this weekend and I agree with Exiled. Sign of the times & political climate is why this got nominated, which is still stupid to me. I don't think it's a terrible movie, in fact I thought it was fairly decent. Yet it has no business being nominated for Best Picture, Director, Actor or Screenplay. This got a screenplay nomination? This movie gets recognition, but "Logan" and "War for the Planet of the Apes" are ignored. Disgraceful. -
So what were the best and worst commercials this year? Best: Tide: By far the funniest line of commercials. Bringing back the Old Spice guy and turning it into a Tide commercial was brilliant. NFL: Eli Manning & Odell Beckham Jr.'s dance was hilarious. Disney: The movie company was wishy-washy on whether they would debut a trailer for "Solo", but what we got was a real treat. The Infinity War trailer was very nice too. Netflix: Good trailer for their "Cloverfield" prequel. Budweiser: Water. Enlightening moment. Worst: M&M's: Red M&M turns into Danny DeVito. Completely lame. Amazon: Alexa loses voice. Nice try, but ultimately a let down. Kia: Steven Tyler. Silly T-Mobile: Babies. Condescending cultural issues. How does this make me want to buy a phone from them? We can't have the "please stand for the flag" commercial, but this one was alright. Groupon: Tiffany Haddish. This made no sense. Weirdest: Doritos Blaze/Mountain Dew Ice: Peter Dinklage & Morgan Freeman. Neat seeing the two actors, but the payoff was strange.

Exactly. Yes, Collinsworth belabored this play and how it should be called, but we saw a lot of similar plays like this during the year, that were initially called touchdowns, but were wrongly overturned. We all saw it happen to us with Kelvin Benjamin. I ask all of you, and be honest, would you have been shocked if the instant replay official would have overturned the last 2 touchdowns by the Eagles? I wouldn't have.

I still like Collinsworth, but his Patriots* obsession was terrible to listen too. I hated the butt kissing of the Patriots* & Tom Brady that he was doing last night, but to be fair, which commentator out there doesn't do this? Everybody, whether it's ABC, CBS, FOX, ESPN or NFL Network, all kiss up to Brady & the Cheaters. This is not unique to Collinsworth, no matter how blatant it is. Al Michaels was kissing up too, constantly referring to Brady as "Tom". When has any announcer ever called the Patriots* out on anything?
-
Congratulations to Frank Reich. Extremely happy for him. Hope that he becomes a head coach soon. Further congratulations to the other former Bills on the Eagles who played in tonight's. As for the former Bills on the Patriots*.....well, at least Gilmore's family got to see him play on television.
-
He had all but guaranteed that the Patriots* would win. I guess he wasn't "concerned" about the Eagles.

Pro Football HOF 2018 Class Announced
Mark Vader replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know a thing about Brazile. I'm on the fence with Beathard. Kramer was long overdue. Owens should have been a first ballot. Lewis & Moss are justified. Dawkins is worthy, but could have waited another year or two. Urlacher could waited a few more years as well. Overall, a very good class, but damn they are electing a lot of players into the Hall. -

Is that why Thurman wasn't a first time ballot?
