  1. Not in a thread about a player who is playing good.
  2. He looks great. I was thrilled when we drafted him and surprised at how long he lasted. I feel he has more upside than T.J. Sanders. I know, I know, they aren't the same type of player, but I'm loving what Walker is doing.
  3. This game was sickening to watch. It was far worse than last week. Injuries suck, but we can't fall back on that with our defense every time. Yes, we get Hoecht & Ogunjobi back, but they've been sidelined for a long time, and it's unrealistic to think that they will have an immediate impact. I can't imagine what is going through Josh Allen's mind. He's worked so hard to be the best player he can be for us, and he's getting very little in return for it. McDermott has a lot to answer for. There is too much inconsistent play calling, and our defense is soft. The season is far from over, but if we are to be taken seriously, then we need to see real moves made to change this team. Sadly, I don't know if we can.
  4. I'm still at work, but as soon as I'm done, I'm heading to my Bills bar. The Bills should have a chip on their shoulder after last week. They can bounce back from a loss as they have before and tonight should be no different. The Falcons are a strange team to figure out, which is pretty much how this early season has gone. Let Josh Allen be Josh Allen, and get a "W" before the BYE week. GO BILLS!!!
  5. I'm not surprised. It wasn't going to be tough for him to duplicate the season he had last time. Add in that James Cook is getting a lot of carries. Hopefully they can use Johnson as a receiver more often.
  6. Homecoming for Jackson Hawes! Big night for him?
  7. The same way a California kid like Josh Allen ends up playing college ball in Wyoming.
  8. I don't recall seeing that many on the panel picking Iowa to beat Indiana. Wasn't Lavar Arrington the only one who picked the Hawkeyes?
  9. Why are you drudging up memories that we want to forget?
  10. I've been watching College Gameday since the Tim Brando, Lee Corso & Beano Cook days. Lee Corso had to retire and probably should have earlier. Despite that, his impact on the show was definitive, and he is sorely missed. It wasn't just the headgear, Corso provided good analysis and insight without being a big mouth. College Gameday is still a good show, even if it is too long. Rece Davis is a good host and Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard are good at analysis, although Desmond needs to stop laughing at every single joke on the show. Nick Saban looks and sounds like he's on life support, and then there's Pat McAfee. McAfee has been given the distinction of taking Corso's place with the last prediction of the headlining game. Always kissing up to the host crowd, being very loud, taking his shirt off, and why is he always standing on his chair? We can see you fine, Pat. ESPN needs to find someone a little less spritely to fill the void of Lee Corso.
  11. Perfect! They could team him up with Booger McFarland in the studio. Two guys who know nothing about football.
  12. One of my favorite moments from when we last played the Falcons.
  13. These threads only make me more enraged that we lost that game last week. The Bills are going to bounce back. Still, we have to keep an eye on the Cheaters. Then again, Week 15 is a long way off.
  14. For real? Damn, I hope I get paid like that when I'm fired.
  15. That was funny. Tracy took it well.
  16. Is Curt Cignetti doing for Indiana, what P.J. Fleck was supposed to be doing for Minnesota?
  17. New York City pizza is overrated. Nothing special. Chicago deep dish pizza is fantastic. Lou Malnati's is the best.
  18. Yeah, I realize that, and I know that this is myself dreaming of trading for these players. Both Baker & Sweat aren't getting any younger, and maybe they'll become disgruntled and want out of Arizona. I'm sure that Beane will be looking to find a player who can help us. He did a good job in getting Amari Cooper last year, and that was a good trade. Just have to wait and see.
  19. From the Cardinals: Budda Baker and Josh Sweat. I know, I know, it sounds unrealistic, but if you're going to make a move and try and win it all, you might as well go for it all. As long as Kyler Murray is the QB in Arizona, that team is going nowhere. The Cardinals have talent that is wasting away, let's bring one of them to a contender.
  20. Yeah, although having him as limited is a lot better than DNP.
  21. Yeah, and the old Falcons logo is better than the current one.
  22. Yes, that was a bad throw, and worse it killed a good scoring drive. It happens. Not everything goes your way. I think we all believe that Josh Allen will bounce back from it.
  23. I agree with all of this. Yes, Josh Allen did not have a great game, but The Athletic making the case that the Bills lost because of Josh Allen is very misleading. Let's not forget that despite the issues, the Bills lost by 3 points. James Cook never got into a rhythm, that was a big problem. Defense did a good job in the first half. Remember the fumble by Coleman deep in our territory? The Bills defense stepped up and only gave up a chip shot field goal. Second half the defense gave up crucial yards and scoring drives. Joe Brady needs to play to the offensive players strengths more, somehow. Trust Josh Allen, get James Cook into more of a rhythm, and use Dalton Kincaid more. There also has to be a way to get at least one of our receivers the right amount of looks as well.
