Andy Isabella: Josh Allen's potential new toy

He'll be a Patriots mid-round pick. -
He was hired by Dick Jauron as assistant OL coach in 2007. He was promoted to OL coach in 2008. He was an excellent coach. Both Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch were 1000 yd runners and he coached Jason Peters to 2 Pro Bowls. The Pittsburgh Steelers signed him when Chan Gailey took over in 2010. I think Buffalo didn't even hold him for an interview as Chan Gailey may of had his own OL coach in mind. At the time, I thought it was a big loss. Kugler has the local ties which also makes him attractive. Unfortunately, Buffalo will have to wait if they really want him.

You must have posted your link the same time I did. Funny, that was the one thing that came to mind when I heard about Isiah Robertson.

"I' got a feeling....Buffalo is going to the Super Bowl!" Sing it baby! Great Fort Knox LB

They will need draft capital if they want to get their franchise QB. The 2020 draft looks good for QBs. The top 2 prospects likely to include Justin Herbert (many are predicting he stays in school this year) and Tua Tagovailoa. Jacob Eason, Jake Fromm, and Dwayne Haskins (if he stays in school) may also go early. I think teams are realizing the need to get draft capital for the next big QB draft in 2020. Any trade for Jalen Ramsey would likely have to include a 2020 first rounder.

Ed Oliver won't be a Buffalo Bill
turftoe replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Ed Oliver is there when the Bills pick at #32 then I say take him. ? -
The last trade with the Eagles didn't work out that well for us. We got the last pick of the 3nd round and they got a starting CB that helped them win a SB. I hate trading with the Eagles. I bet we would come out of the trade with some crappy return like a 4th or 5th rounder. It may be better to wait to the trade deadline. Maybe another team in the hunt has their top RB go down.

Did anyone get tazed? -
I think we all have the same concerns. Peterman has a good pocket presence, accuracy, and quick release which will help. We have quality TEs, a hall of fame RB, and good blocking FB so Dabol needs to be creative and bring a little NE twist to the offense. I hope Castillo can coach up this OL to overachieve.

I don't want to rejoice in someone's downfall but it's a good thing that TBN finally parted ways with JS. I couldn't read his stuff and surely wasn't going to pay for any subscription with him on the payroll. I'm a lifelong Bills fan who lives out of state. I like objective reporting on interesting stuff that applies to my team. Sullivan seemed to be in his own disconnected world, often writing mean spirited stuff and grinding his own axe like a jilted bitter ex. His writing was tabloid stuff, always trying to create an emotional response. He started trolling people on Twitter, tried to pick fights with Lebron James, Gronk, etc and looked silly in the process. I took offense with his personal attacks on the Pegulas, Marv Levy, Wilson, and others. Parting ways with JS was way overdue.

Sal Carpaccio: Corey Coleman Is In Trouble
turftoe replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We'll see. The Bills would have to be creative. Jerry Hughes looks like he has lost a step and Murphy is forever injured. If we can't generate a pass rush then it's going to be a long season. -

If we make any trades, perhaps Khalil Mack, you could package him in the deal and be out from the guaranteed $. Kind of like they do in hockey to get a bad deal off the books. -
It was nice while it lasted. At least we had a short break from the Sully drivel.

I have a trade proposal. Trade Juan Castillo for a bag of footballs and lure Aaron Kromer back to actually coach the OL.

I think Peterman will turn out to be decent.
