  1. I mean he attacked a random hotel guest and his dad in their hotel room. Clearly has mental problems.
  2. I honestly think the issue is also complexity. Complex systems are at a disadvantage under the new CBA - there just isn't time to learn and practice them. The Patriots actually run a very simple defense that can be tweaked to fit changing personnel. And on offense it's just one guy. This is the new model IMO and Rex has not adjusted.
  3. We should sign Forsett just because. What is a conference win worth?
  4. 9-7 Just miss the last playoff spot Terry hires a czar Whaley resigns Will get back to you about Rex...
  5. Skursky wrote the article. Seriously though, what the hell is going on with the Buffalo News? They're always negative towards the Bills - but they've really ratcheted up the hate significantly this offseason, and it seems to be hitting a crescendo right now. It's just totally depressing - I wonder if TBD should stop linking to it on the main page. With the season a week away, you'd think they'd be a bit more positive, or at least neutral.
  6. Evans is done - his body gave out on him this offseason. It's over. Amaro never was - he simply isn't very good. The Jets are thin at TE and still cast him away. Pass.
  7. He is saying that the passive defensive game plans against us made Miller look better than he is...
  8. Re: 6 safeties, don't forget that they have to match up this year with New England's new double-TE offense. The two TE design lets NE create all kinds of mismatches - they can change from a pass look with the TEs spread wide to a run-heavy look with the TEs along the line - WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE PERSONNEL. That's a nightmare to defend. These safeties are gonna see a lot of action when we play the Pats.
  9. Lewis is still hurt and may not make it back this season.
  10. Starks is the GB backup running back, you should know that. Blount is gonna thrive in NE in their power formation, double-TE approach. Denver, Arizona and Seattle have STACKED secondaries - their third corners would start on most teams. You got me, I don't know who the backup WLB in Arizona is.
  11. Seattle, Green Bay, Arizona, Denver, New England
  12. I watched the Pats-Giants game last night - Mingo looked really good in that defense.
  13. You know, in the Ralph/Littman days, this would've been a routine cutdown day move - release a few higher-priced depth players to salvage the bottom line on the eve of the season, after most of the ticket purchases had been committed. Now, it's really hard to say. But he's a smart, dependable edge-setter who is scheme-versatile. Not to mention, they have no linebackers for Rex's 3-4/hybrid. It seems asinine but perhaps there is more to the story.
  14. No it makes sense - cut the most experienced, versatile LB in a highly complicated defense that requires experienced, versatile LBs and doesn't have enough of them... This is such a Bills move.
