  1. Can't they make everyone wear knee braces? I don't understand it - there has to be a way to prevent 20 players from blowing out their knees every August, it's a multi-billion dollar business...
  2. Jason Campbell is still in the league. I can see EJ having a long and lucrative career as a clipboard holder. Good for him, honestly.
  3. Coples lacks mental toughness and I don't see that ever changing.
  4. Been listening to his podcast - kinda like the guy.
  5. He has always had weight issues, which is why teams won't sign him beyond one year - and probably is why NE released him. Looks like NE might release Branch too.
  6. Randle is a DOG. One of the biggest DOGs in the NFL - he doesn't put in any effort.
  7. I'm the one who extended it to Whaley and I stand by that. I continue to believe that the decision to pass on Jack was short-sighted. I was banging the table for him at the time, and I still am - his ceiling is much higher than Ragland's. I'm concerned about the strategic approach to this year's draft - to me, the top two picks were based on need and scheme fit - and not overall talent. As some like BADOL have said, you don't use top draft picks to fill needs. You use them to select star players. Whaley and Rex seemed like they were drafting for their short-term job security this year, and I'm not ok with that. (And as far as irony goes, it has already blown up in their faces.)
  8. Yes, I mentioned this weeks ago. Whaley needs a czar.
  9. You are the EJ of spelling. Mostly competent with a few glaring, inexcusable misses.
  10. Yup. He also knew the playbook and played specials as well. It's a blow.
  11. Interesting. Henderson has more pure talent than any of the linemen - would be something if he could get his career on track.
  12. Rex doesn't practice fundamentals like tackling as much as other coaches, it's pretty obvious to me.
  13. Hall has always been one of the bigges PoS's in the league. He's such a clown.
  14. Keep an eye on Pitta, he's been battling injuries and has a high salary. May not make the Ravens' final 53.
  15. Ok but you know what? At least the Patriots make trades. I don't know why NFL GM's are so afraid of player trades but they're very rare. The Pats at least try it. It worked for us with Hughes and I'd love to see it done more often.
  16. That's because he's still committing 3-5 horrible plays per game, both in run blocking and pass blocking. Which is very disturbing. But on the rest of the plays, he finally looks competent. It's very odd - I can't figure out if it's mental or physical. Although he still looks like a human hinge at times - on that Vernon sack, he just folded over into himself. Strange player, hard to evaluate.
  17. I could totally see the Jets signing him. They'd love to stick it to Rex for the IK nonsense, and beat him over the head with his own shoe. I can see why the Bills released the guy - but I can see Kelly's "why now" point also. It will really suck if he becomes a productive weapon for a division rival, and/or we quickly run into depth issues at the RB spot (which would be such a Bills thing to happen).
