  1. Tyrod needs to move the sticks more. Fewer three and outs if this offense is going to take the next step.
  2. Again, if IK can make the team, this guy can - he's actually athletic...
  3. Mike Brown is very cheap. He takes risks on low-character players as a kind of "arbitrage" - they're cheaper to acquire. Burfict was a great example. Easley would be perfect for their strategy.
  4. Some thoughts I'll add now that I've seen the video: 1) It's clear that this is Doug Whaley's Show. I like seeing him run the draft room - he's the man in charge and they all seem to defer to him. I love watching a young Executive do his or her thing with confidence. Whaley shows confidence and decisiveness. I'm impressed. 2) Whaley and Rex seem to genuinely like and work well with each other. This is critical. 3) Nice to see Terry being involved but not dominating the room (a la Jerry Jones). He's the right amount of invested - he clearly participates but doesn't dominate the discussion. 4) I thought it was awesome seeing Kim in the draft room. IMO there are not enough women involved in the management of NFL teams. If you've been in a board room or a C-suite you know that women have just as much to offer as men do, and it bothers me that they're so underrepresented in the NFL.
  5. Again, in the clips posted above, he looks just like Kyle to me. It's uncanny.
  6. Has the latest CBA ruined the game of football? It doesn't get discussed enough...
  7. I keep telling you Jboyst, stay away from packaged flesh...
  8. So how much more did Grigson cost us with the Constanzo deal? Regardless (or "irregardless," as the idiots say), it's great when you draft well, develop well, and retain. That's how quality organizations work.
  9. The Bills' roster and cap situation is rather unique in that it has a very low amount of $$ allocated to the QB position. So if you factor in the fact that Tyrod is playing for $1M or whatever, I think it justifies a higher-than-normal allocation of cap dollars to other positions, including running back. That said, putting aside his contract number, I question Shady's fit for Roman's offense. Seemed to me that Karlos and Gilleslee ran Roman's plays just as well, if not better than Shady. And I'm a HUGE fan of the Jon Williams pick and I think he too will thrive in Roman's offense. So I'm not sure we need Shady at all (I know it's sacrilege, but I'd much rather have a playmaking linebacker who can defend the pass well...)
  10. Did you know that Dilfer and Trent Baalke are close friends? I just learned this today: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/05/03/trent-dilfer-has-no-intention-to-join-49ers/ The phrase “no intention” often provides cover for a change of intentions later. And with Dilfer counting 49ers G.M. Trent Baalke as one of Dilfer’s closest friends, whenever Dilfer changes his intentions, the door could swing open. That tidbit adds some context to Dilfer's criticism of Roman's offense and Taylor's skillset, although I'm not sure which way it cuts, either it gives Dilfer more direct access to how Roman's system works, or it's part of Baalke's ongoing efforts to shift blame to his former coaching staffs...
  11. Arm strength is not an issue for Prescott. I think you're confusing him with someone else, maybe Sudfeld?
  12. If he can put on 10-15 lbs he's in London Fletcher territory. Yeah - wow. That dude can bend the corner and explode.
  13. And by the way - most of the draftniks had left Floyd out of the top ten, but I nailed that one. So sometimes I'm right...
  14. I've heard the same thing from Steelers fans. Plus they heavily scouted all of the top corner prospects and sprinted to the podium when their pick was up. They were locked in on a corner, hell or high water. Not a good look for an organization that is usually much more disciplined on draft day. Berns is a bit of a reach if you ask me... In any event here is a dark horse OROY: Sterling Shepard of the Giants. DROY will be Bosa.
  15. That is a good point. Still not the tipping point for me but I get it.
  16. Maybin was decidedly NOT an elite athlete. He was a relatively fast straight-line runner with little ability to bend and with no agility.
