  1. Every year QBs get pushed to the top of the draft (except the EJ year LOL, what does that tell you?). Watson and Trubinsky are going 1-2 in a QB-starved league. If the Bills want one of them they're going to have to pay a hefty sum - and I'd be fine with it. Time to take a swing for the fences.
  2. It's a very deep draft for tight ends, meaning you're better off looking for one in the second or third round or later. And **&%& it all - DRAFT A QB ALREADY.
  3. My guess? Whaley wants to give Lynn the nod and the Pegulas are being pragmatic and saying, "Lynn is under contract, let's hire McDermott and keep Lynn as OC and we get both guys that way." Whereas DW is saying, "Lynn deserves to get the promotion." Just a hunch...,
  4. Because a rebuild gives him cover - he'd have a ready-made excuse for next year's debacle.
  5. That's because he's actually responsible and waits until he has multiple confirmed reports.
  6. He reminds me of Wentz a lot actually. You HAVE to take guys like that early (and he'll end up going top 5).
  7. You don't think these clowns would do something crazy like try to trade for Bill O'Brien, do you....? Or hire Wisenhunt...???
  8. See, it's snarky, unnecessary little knife-twists like that one which make you so unpopular around here, not that you care.
  9. Wouldn't it be like Wisenhunt reporting to McCoy in San Diego?
  10. That's great. I plan to be dominant in 2017, too. Lock up your daughters!
  11. Anderson is a fat toad. Booker is the guy.
  12. Waaaaaahhhhhh some guy said something I don't like!!!
  13. Wait a minute, those are my two and only two dreams. Actually there is a slight variation on the second dream, which is that she's rich but doesn't speak a word of English. Where have I gone so wrong???
  14. Why would they express "remorse" to the media? Do these people have any idea how to run a business? They're great owners but they sure seem clueless.
  15. Trade #1, #2, next year's #1 and #2 for Trubinsky. Or something like that. Enough screwing around with stopgaps.
  16. "Cowher was mentioned"
  17. Really? He sails soooo many throws, Gunner. Scares the bejeezus out of me.
  18. 100% agree John. Now's the time.
  19. That's not exactly right. He fizzled out in NJ because they ran out of talent in the back end of that defense, had no QB, he was undermined by his GM (similar to here actually), AND Rex failed to adapt his systems to the modern game. He's an out of date coach, yes, but that's not the whole story. It's a combination of factors.
  20. I don't know how I feel about O'Brien. On the one hand, I trust that he knows how to run a full program. On the other hand, he reminds me a lot of Marrone - conservative approach, never really pushes the envelope. Sometimes he's aggressive on fourth downs and other times he's maddeningly Marrone-like, punting from a short field, down a TD with a few minutes to go. I don't know... like Marrone, his team is usually competitive but never dominant.
  21. I would trade a boatload of picks to move up and grab him. It's time to find a franchise QB, or die trying.
  22. So, why aren't we sniffing around Cooter? (I considered starting a thread with that title, but I'm not drinking alcohol this month and just couldn't find the nerve to post it....)
  23. The two takes aren't mutually exclusive. Rob might be a mad scientist whose schemes are "brilliant" but not practical to run on Sundays... Martz was similar.
