  1. Desir might be the worst player in the NFL.
  2. Thats the issue. No real idea how much input Dorsey has into the installation, strategy and play design on a weekly or yearly basis. No idea how fluent he is in the E-P system. And he’s never called plays as a coach at any level. ”Continuity” in this context means very little. Personally I’d like to see them bring in someone a bit more balanced - I’m still not sure Josh understands what running plays to check into, because the Bills don’t execute any of them effectively. Would extend his career to be able to run the ball from time to time. That’s one key difference between Daboll’s offense and the Patriots’.
  3. Dorsey has never called plays. Not saying he can’t do it but I don’t think it should be a foregone conclusion that he’d be the next man up.
  4. The throw was ok - Brown didn’t fight his way across the defender fast enough. That play was Exhibit A for the need to find an alpha receiver in the off-season. Mission accomplished by Beane.
  5. Win or lose this season has been a treat, and getting to watch this team - and Allen in particular - for one more week is a real gift.
  6. @BillfromNYC, he'll take on ALL the CBs I think I read that Humphrey somehow was one of the most targeted CBs in the league? And forced the most fumbles? Peters is a gambler and teams avoid throwing at him, it's either a pick-six or he gets burned.
  7. Dude looks like Fireman Ed’s cousin.
  8. Count me intrigued by the “VERY”...
  9. Those of you predicting OT - I won’t survive it.
  10. It was completely inexcusable and the outrage is justified. Imagine if the Colts won the game after that. Just unbelievable that the league continues to allow this stuff to happen. Also Poyer isn't getting enough credit for the heads-up play he made. Should've ended the game.
  11. Or his agent Bob LaMonte has overplayed his hand yet again.
  12. Saleh as HC, Pederson as OC would be a good outcome for them.
  13. I’m starting to think that folks didn’t pay enough attention in history class...
  14. So much yelling on those shows.
  15. Consistent with what we observed of Roman here - the night game that turned out to be his last game was chaos on the sideline, plays were coming in at the last second after Tyrod and the rest of the offense were gesturing frantically at the sideline for the calls. Seemed like Ty then went off-script and started calling receiver streaks which - amazingly - worked for the first time in Ty’s career here. Not having plays may actually have helped Tyrod. Anyhow it was clear chaos despite the offensive explosion and Roman was fired the next day.
  16. These are definitely two key factors. I don't understand why McD's teams are such bad tacklers - he seems to stress fundamentals but it has been a real problem.
  17. Three things: 1) Gotta be physical 2) Special teams might be the difference in this game 3) Better guard those tight ends this week (unlike last week)
  18. Agree. That was not a championship defense, it was more like the defense we saw during the first half of the season. Way too many missed tackles and missed assignments. Need to tighten up going forward.
