  1. I would advise anyone who is considering hiring Wigdor to have separate counsel at hand to review the strategy in real time. I don't want to belabor it but I would never trust that firm to put its clients' interests first. Same with Lisa Bloom for that matter.
  2. They publish their complaints on Twitter as soon as they file them. The first page is always drafted to generate max publicity. It’s impressive but it’s also very much a strategy.
  3. More likely they believe it’s the best strategy for enhancing their own brand.
  4. False, their MO is to litigate in the press. They do not have a good reputation in terms of accuracy or ethics. They only half care about winning in the courtroom for their client - they also are brand-obsessed and love litigating in the press. As I said upthread, I would not be surprised to see many of these allegations eventually walked back. Terrible take. Again this is not atypical for Wigdor - I’ve seen them often pursue strategies that are bad for their clients but good for their own brand. When I first read the Complaint it struck me as another example of that.
  5. Craziest part is that the Dolphins still could’ve just drafted Herbert…
  6. The Giants’ entire defense should just be Daboll’s offense’s record against Flores’s defense, no?
  7. Agents chatter I would guess.
  8. That's one way to look at it for sure. But interviewing up-and-coming coaches helps get them into the "cycle" and may open the door for them down the line. Whereas you get the sense Caldwell and Frazier and other retreads like Culley are being taken advantage of by the Rule. It's a very complicated issue with no easy solution.
  9. What on Earth are you talking about?
  10. Terrible takes WEO. There will be serious hell to pay if this isn't retracted.
  11. Old people simply should not be using Facebook or texting - they cannot do it. Also, the Wigdor law firm is pretty well known for putting aggressive allegations into complaints in order to generate media attention - that's their MO. Sometimes they've had to walk those allegations back, so we'll see how this plays out ultimately.
  12. Congress is going to get involved if this isn't retracted quickly - you can't have an owner of an antitrust-exempt business, on which betting is now legal, paying coaches to lose. This is EPIC.
  13. FOOTNOTE 30: "Ironically, during their January 11, 2022 text exchange, Mr. McDonnell also suggested that if Mr. Flores were hired as the Giants Head Coach, Brian Daboll might be interested in leaving Buffalo to serve as his Offensive Coordinator (“Heard Daboll isn’t happy with Sean [McDermott] in Buffalo . . . might be able to get out if he doesn’t get a head job... thoughts?”)." 😱
  14. Would like to see them bring in some version of an experienced OL coach/running game coordinator to pair with him.
  15. Stick around, we’ll let you know exactly how you should feel about it within a few more pages.
  16. Well, at least he got the most out of _________.
  17. Agree completely. Not the right environment for a Mad Scientist type - I wish him well but I don’t think his piles of notebooks will serve him in this role.
  18. Amazing what playing a sane, not-terrified defense will do.
  19. My deep condolences.
  20. When they traded for Diggs it was heralded as this Earth-shattering epiphany: McBeane finally being comfortable enough with the state of The Process to take the bold step, to make an aggressive move for that final piece of the roster puzzle. For many teams that’s just a normal offseason activity, acquiring a high-priced piece of talent. It really should just be the MO at this point. Fine to be cap-responsible but you’ve got about ten years of the Allen Window left and you CANNOT squander it like the Packers have done.
  21. I tried. Watched the opening kickoff and realized I’m still mad.
  22. My takeaway from that PC was they’ll look for 1-2 more good TE options instead of Beas - can at least run or threaten to run out of their formations whereas with Beas in you’re basically announcing to the defense that it’s a pass.
