I'm curious...what makes you say that?

IMHO most of the movies on that list are pure trash. But a Christmas Story is my all time fav and I do not really see anything wrong with Polar Express.

Hamlin plays safety too "safely." He is the guy who guards the flag in capture the flag. Decent backup...don't get beat deep, keep the ball in front of you yada, yada...but he is not a playmaker. Hyde can be a playmaker back there.

He will be starting soon. And we will see a big upgrade.

President Biden pardons his son, Hunter.
bills_fan replied to Beast's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I do not disagree with anything you wrote. But I always believed a Hunter pardon would happen. Nor do I blame him for pardoning Hunter. Biden is a buffoon on so many levels. But saving his son from prison time is not one of them IMHO. -

I can hate on Biden and the Dems for a whole lot that has happened in the last 4 years. Pardoning Hunter is not one of them since I would do the exact same thing for my son if I had to and I was in Bidens position. Once you have kids, you are a Dad first imho. -

I see Steelers finishing with 4-5 losses (Bengals, ravens and maybe Eagles). Chiefs could lose to Chargers/Denver/Steelers/Houston (at least 2 of those). If we only drop one more, we are the 1 seed under my scenario above. I'd love that since the xtra week of rest is pretty key, As is avoiding the 2 or 3 seed until the AFC title game. IMHO, the 1 seed is massively valuable.

If you recall, the Bills were down but just starting to turn it on offensively and then Brady called that goofy trick play that resulted in a turnover. Ravens scored from there and we could not get back in the game.
-
Oh they certainly could. Their end of year schedule makes it possible that they lose 2 of their last 3 (Houston, @ Pitt 4 days later and @ Denver). Its just not likely. Hence my longshot statement. A longshot is still a shot though. Tampa not going for 2 and Denver getting a kick blocked hurt us as either game could have tacked a loss on the Chiefs.

Tampa Bay Rays - Tropicana Field destroyed by Hurricane Milton

https://sports.yahoo.com/tampa-bay-rays-will-play-2025-home-schedule-at-steinbrenner-field-spring-training-stadium-of-the-yankees-170217651.html They will play at Steinbrenner Field for the 2025 season. Might be pretty cool to go see a MLB game in a tiny stadium. -
Highly likely we have the 2 seed. The 1 is a longshot even if we win on Sunday. Pitts/Baltimore/Houston all have much tougher schedules than ours. They are all likely to be in the 5-7 loss range. We are likey to be in the 3-5 loss range.

Who’s the best Left Tackle you have ever watched?

I was also at that game. And had the exact same reactions as you. Very well written and summarized. -
As a kid, my dream car was always a Jeep Wrangler. Had posters on my wall of it. I got a nice bonus at work in 2005 and was able to buy one brand new. 4.0 L, V6, manual transmission. It is still what I drive everyday. Its been off-road in the mountains, snow, beach...doesn't matter. I keep it looking mint with a weekly car wash/wax. Its really my first baby and I'll never sell it. https://ibb.co/xJR5s12

I voted Yes and always figured it would be after the bye week.

The best thing the NFL can do is make the referees full time and allow all calls to be reviewed/challenged. I am so sick of so many games being decided by officials when its blatantly obvious and easy to review the play from multiple camera angles and get the call correct. Have a team of full time employees work every game and that would include a group watching video after every play. Call down to the in game official and get the damn call right. The "judgement" of a small number part time employees should not affect a billion dollar industry and millions of fans from every team/city in the country not to mention the economic impact games have on cities/regions etc.

My 4 year old little girl was going through the Amazon one we got last week and was cutting out pictures and gluing them to a piece of paper as her Xmas list. I enjoyed watching that.

If we go through that 5 game stretch 4-1 rather than 3-2, and we get a W against KC, we still have a shot at the 1. KC plays 2 games in 4 days (12/21 vs Hou and 12/25 @ Pitt). If they split those and have a loss against us, we just need them to take 1 more loss (split w Denver?) to have a realistic shot at the 1 seed.

The next 6 games will be interesting.
bills_fan replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are 100% right but that 1 seed would sure look nice going into the playoffs. -
The NFL is a tough place to get live gameday experience. Dude has plenty of physical tools, but has not played that many games. I agree with OP, 0% chance we lose to Richardson. Flacco gives them a shot at the upset.

We need to be a lot better on special teams
bills_fan replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know special teams are hard to quantify, but here are Rick Gosselin's rankings of the Bills under McDermott. 2017- 7 2018 - 31 2019 - 12 2020 - 8 2021 - 8 2022 - 5 2023- 28 https://rickgosselin.com/category/special-teams/ Gosselin's ranking seem to account for most of the basic categories. They are not perfect but they are as good a measure as any. And achieving a consistent top 10 ranking really has to be a priority IMHO. I believe we have had very few big splash plays on ST recently outside of the huge Hardy return against Miami last year. The "glory days" Bills SB teams seemed to me to have a huge special teams play on a weekly basis. Now that could be my rose colored glasses, but Tasker, Pike etc. seemed to always flip field position, cause a turnover or whatever to swing the flow of the game in our favor. I'm not sure the best way to get there. We do need some better ST players, I think. And not just K, P, Returner. Our 2020-2022 ST seem to be a strong point based on the rankings above.
