mine keeps trying to send me to the NY Times log In when i see a linked story. i just go right to The Athletic App and log in from there.

I see a lot of match-up changes week to week in the game plan targeting the weakness in the defense. It won't be Diggs gets his 12 every week, Gabe gets 8 etc. One week it's heavy Shakir, the next it's Kincaid, the next Cook depending on what the defense is.

1. Kincaid 2. Shakir 3. Samuel 4. Coleman 5. Cook Targets with Coleman getting more as the season progresses before hitting the rookie wall in December

Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board

It's a little bit of who made you king to declare post of the day. Just let it happen -
Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board

The board is fine the way it is. Posts move up, posts move down. If a topic is interesting enough by the site as whole it stats at the top. Why try to declare or engineer a topic of the day? If it is a good topic it becomes topic of the day by default. -

Why the hate on Johnson? Everyone has him as a cut. He ran hard last year. His pass protection was fine and he has a low cap hit. Why is everyone acting like he was Reggie Bush running backwards in mud? You have to have some experience there besides Cook.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Robert Paulson replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Design, engineering mostly. You are not reinventing the wheel and any gliches from the first build are corrected. Terry has to pinch pennies somewhere until he can offload the Sabres. -
Rd 5, Pick 141: C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger

The best 5 start- we will know mid August who they are and who the next 3 of 5 backups are. The 9th and 10th linemen will be tough calls. -

our stadium is a clone of Tottenham Hotspurs stadium in London. saves money and the kinks are worked out already. -
Realistic "Transition Year" Expectations
Robert Paulson replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
they retooled-just like Baltimore, KC, the cheats, Indy with Manning and a bunch of teams have done through the years to remain competitive. I still believe the 13 second year was our year and we would have retooled hard right after that Super Bowl but we short circuited. We ran it back, panicked a bit, but just got older and into cap hell doing that. Now we are back on a good path. If you have QB1 on the roster you are always in contention. so much depends on matchups, injuries, schedules, luck etc that they will be in the mix and can win it all in any of the next 6-8 years. Rarely does the team that everyone picks to win it-actually wins it. We have a good a shot as anyone-especially with lower expectations and the realization mid season that the new players are just as good/better than the recent versions of those we lost this offseason -
i didn't like him as a player- he was over hyped by the league, but appreciate him now. the anti Diggs

Ha ha ha. That is exactly what I thought!

Rd 4, Pick 128: RB Ray Davis, Kentucky

Was hoping for a big short yardage back not someone 5 8 We'll see I guess -
It's tough not to agree with this statement. 😕 at least they keep trying to add D talent so no matter what McDermott calls we get the stop.
-
there are a lot of WRs getting big money who were not drafted in the top 10-see St Brown, Diggs etc. I feel Beane panics in rd 1 more than not, swings for a boom/bust in rd 2 and then settles in and picks good football players. i'd love to see him just let the board come to him and pick best available in rd 1 and not reach/panic like the Elam pick

Gunner's 2024 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
Robert Paulson replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
my worry about him is getting injured he is not tiny like the AZ baseball player but he is also not as big and thick as Josh. I think he breaks down in December every year. -

me as well. the Bears dumped Fields for 'Fields'. 6 franchises will set themselves back this year for 4 more years. -
Will we be in Super Bowl contention this year?
Robert Paulson replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes -
WR1 money is something we do not need
-
I appreciate the work you put in on this. Still don't like options 2 and 3. Too much to give up in mho but that's why we are on this board- to discuss these things.
-
i do not like options 2 and 3 at all. why give up the MN #2 next year AND move back just to pick up another 2 this year. I didn't look up the value chart data but i don't see how the numbers work in our favour.
