Rd 5, Pick 141: C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger
Robert Paulson replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
The best 5 start- we will know mid August who they are and who the next 3 of 5 backups are. The 9th and 10th linemen will be tough calls. -
Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

our stadium is a clone of Tottenham Hotspurs stadium in London. saves money and the kinks are worked out already. -
Realistic "Transition Year" Expectations
Robert Paulson replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
they retooled-just like Baltimore, KC, the cheats, Indy with Manning and a bunch of teams have done through the years to remain competitive. I still believe the 13 second year was our year and we would have retooled hard right after that Super Bowl but we short circuited. We ran it back, panicked a bit, but just got older and into cap hell doing that. Now we are back on a good path. If you have QB1 on the roster you are always in contention. so much depends on matchups, injuries, schedules, luck etc that they will be in the mix and can win it all in any of the next 6-8 years. Rarely does the team that everyone picks to win it-actually wins it. We have a good a shot as anyone-especially with lower expectations and the realization mid season that the new players are just as good/better than the recent versions of those we lost this offseason -
i didn't like him as a player- he was over hyped by the league, but appreciate him now. the anti Diggs

Ha ha ha. That is exactly what I thought!

Rd 4, Pick 128: RB Ray Davis, Kentucky
Robert Paulson replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was hoping for a big short yardage back not someone 5 8 We'll see I guess -
It's tough not to agree with this statement. 😕 at least they keep trying to add D talent so no matter what McDermott calls we get the stop.
-
there are a lot of WRs getting big money who were not drafted in the top 10-see St Brown, Diggs etc. I feel Beane panics in rd 1 more than not, swings for a boom/bust in rd 2 and then settles in and picks good football players. i'd love to see him just let the board come to him and pick best available in rd 1 and not reach/panic like the Elam pick

Gunner's 2024 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
Robert Paulson replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
my worry about him is getting injured he is not tiny like the AZ baseball player but he is also not as big and thick as Josh. I think he breaks down in December every year. -

me as well. the Bears dumped Fields for 'Fields'. 6 franchises will set themselves back this year for 4 more years. -
Will we be in Super Bowl contention this year?
Robert Paulson replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes -
WR1 money is something we do not need

I appreciate the work you put in on this. Still don't like options 2 and 3. Too much to give up in mho but that's why we are on this board- to discuss these things.
-
i do not like options 2 and 3 at all. why give up the MN #2 next year AND move back just to pick up another 2 this year. I didn't look up the value chart data but i don't see how the numbers work in our favour.

Adonai Mitchell - name cracks me up
Robert Paulson replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
you are better than me i typically call them: Jesus Effin Christ -
this is it- bjorquez sucked as a holder and our current punter Martin sucks as a holder as well. i don;t know man. i see every packer game where i live and the kicking game was terribile when he started holding. it is more than just laces- is the ball placed correctly in the X and Y directions to mesh with the kickers stroke? this was a big part of his and Martin's problem.

Samuel takes over Diggs routes. I saw his highlight film and i was-those are Diggs' routes, this won't work. now i get it. The questions for me is who will stretch the field? Shakir or a rookie maybe unless they expect Kincaid to be Kelce.

McDermott is feeling the pressure

13 seconds cost us a Super bowl-that was our year. -
Pass rusher. A huge need not being talked about enough
Robert Paulson replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Clowney has underperformed his whole career and still gets paid-it boggles my mind he has never been double digits in sacks. we would be roasting him by the 5th game and blaming Beane for a lousy FA move. -
good for him. he earned it. wow great minds

2025 comp picks - good 1st day for that

Do The Bills Have Enough "Elite" Talent?
Robert Paulson replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Strike Oliver then but when he had Daquan next to him he could do damage. Now we are down to 1 player who is a difference maker and the rest maybes- even bleaker -

QB check WR 1 not anymore TE/WR 2 maybe EDGE no DT yes LB will see with Milano I'm not as concerned about not having $40M tied up in our starting secondary like we did the last 3 years. It got us bounced early. That money needs to go chunk plays, stops and turnovers. we have 2 yes, and a bunch of maybe right now.
