  1. I think it was rookie year when he slid and got drilled in the head by a Patriot-no call of course
  2. Brown showed promise last year but there were many games where he did not grade well. he was thrown in earlier than wanted. let him get healthy and then plug him in for reps at the end of blowouts as needed.
  3. Not passing judgment on you. Just saying it's not my thing. Lighten up Francis, you do you and I will be me
  4. the best time/place to eat Poutine is in a Quebec eastern township diner at 2 in the morning
  5. I like your style. once you are an adult you do not wear another man's name on your back.
  6. I didn't think was bad at all. Scouting interns should know this stuff
  7. Yea, but they have to show something. This kid has shown nothing except being the next irrational hope. What has he shown after 3 years except dropping the ball and being hurt. Hodgkins has had great camps at least. We latch onto guys with no promise because we want/hope to be right about them. You should buy his jersey. Does he have a consistent number?
  8. looks like we are stuck with him- will probably get 3 goal line TDs when no one covers him when he sneaks out but I do not expect any 25 yard catch and runs on 3rd and 15 sh!tty Tight ends are easy to find- fast , strong, good hands TEs are not: after Knox ours have 0 or 1 of those traits
  9. agree not feeling the love for OJ Howard or Stevenson. Howard is super slow with stone hands: Sweeney can get better and josh likes to pound beers with him-good locker room guy Stevenson has not shown me anything except dropped balls and being hurt-CFL guy just looked it up: $3.5MM against the cap one way or another- he's staying and he is stealing
  10. Oliver and Knox get extended. Poyer moves on Edmunds need to splash to earn what he will want, or he takes less, or he is gone
  11. It looked like a high fastball on TV. Crowder: old, injury prone and keeping some potentially decent receivers off the team/field. Keenum: man , i thought there was more there there. 8 year vet can't pick up the offense? He does need a chance to play with the starters for a few series to be sure but: I would not be dissapointed if both did not make the team.
  12. Childhood home of Harry Houdini -cool museum about him on College Ave Downtown Appleton. my kids went to Houdini Elementary. also Rocky Bleier and Willem Defoe https://mileofmusic.com/ was this weekend - 4 1/2 days of live music- they turn College Ave into Broadway in Nashville for one big never ending party Mile 10 is Aug 3-6, 2023 Last thought on Titletown- that neighborhood is like Cheektowaga (lot of old folks) the whole city and metro area goes there to party. Appleton/Fox Cities residents go there as well Did anyone hang around Gillette before they built up around it?-build it and they will come
  13. Except for the last 35 years we heard the Bills might be leaving town or the stadium is moving downtown. Now we have a new 25+ year stadium moving in. It will happen. PS the Packers development didn't really take off until they refurbished Lambeau
  14. I get that but- I have lived up here for 21 years and there was nothing around the stadium except 0 star motels, strip mallard a few supper clubs till they started putting some mid range hotels in. Now it's a mini hot spot with sports bars, condos, a high end hotel and office tower. It can be done. The other thing is is that there is money in orchard park already. Build it and they will come
  15. Packers make it work in Green Bay. Time-line: 1. Stadium 2. Hotels 3. Bars/Restaurants 4. Businesses Wow-try a paragraph here or there Going to Rammstein in August there. Can't wait
  16. they should be lining josh and diggs up for commercials with kids around eating cookies, gogurt etc. heard josh has a lays commercial coming up as well but the kid element would work great
  17. i like your list, hopefully Griffin and McCloud sneak on to the PS but I could see one/both getting picked up. I would rather "IR" one or both of them then expose them
  18. not sure what folks see in this kid and Hodgkin besides hope. I feel bad for them but it may be time for one or both to join Duke in the CFL.
  19. beat me to it- especially late in the game against KC
  20. Agreed, the trick is determining when they are going to fall off the cliff and then move on the year before. They didn't appear to draft a replacement this year so I think they each get a 'real' year tacked on to their contracts with a few extra years to make the numbers work. Po has been quiet lately and appears calm, so my guess is Knox gets done first, then Poyer to make the cap numbers work. Truman is on a prove it year. He either gets a mega extension, tagged or a thank you for your service meeting after this year. At the least, the Bills get a max effort season out of him as he tries for the mega deal-he may even hit the right hole this year once or twice.
