  1. i think it is. it has a similar green label. i used to love 50. i drink Molson Export when in buffalo. i like a good ale as a change of pace. Kim mitchel;l had a funny song about the important choices we make in life 'Lager & Ale'
  2. Chicago and Appleton ,WI have it. the propblem is it is 12.99 a 12 pack. you can get a case of it for that price in Buffalo. i still buy it though. it is my house beer.
  3. taking out Losman doesn't raise his grade for the year either.
  4. great trade for the Cubs Sammy has been a locker room cancer for many years now. in most clubhouses the starting pitcher chooses the music for the day. Sammy blasted his Salsa at 11 every day. the day he skipped out, Kerry Wood took a bat to Sammy's boom box. he was a good diversion when the Cubs were losing 90+ games/year but they were never going to be a serous series contender with him on the Cubs. i did not say team because there was no team in Sammy's limited English vocabulary. it was all Me, Me Me. a bag of batting practice balls would have ben a good trade for him. addition by subtraction. he was a huge hole in the lineup batting 3rd. a major rally killer. he should have batted 8th but finally agreed to go down to 6th. that cost the Cubs a good 5-6 wins early in the year which cost them the playoffs.
  5. + reduce the size of Goalie equipment look at thre some old Sabres pics. Crozier looked naked out there compered to what the guys wear now. 2-1 games become 6-5 games when you have more than a dinner palte to shhot at.
  6. he was only good for 1/2 a year on Buffalo. he made is dough and is living the life and collecting checks. he will never be a great receiver.
  7. great movie. i have it TIVO'd. i return to Buffalo 2-3x/year. it is a sh-- town. there are no jobs left. the only jobs are civil service. my sister and i work out of town in the private sector. had to move to get a good job. my other sister and brother work for the state and county. take away the civil service jobs and no one would live there. that being said i would move back in a second if i could find a good job there.
  8. i guess i have to stop my minimla(7 letters) posting then. i'm a two finger poker with no spell check and no patience to go back and correct myself.
  9. i need my fix of your blog. i need to know what happens next! hurry!
  10. whatever i want. me and two others work at a satellite office in Wisconsin and all our bosses are in Chicago. we have very flexible hours as long as the work gets done. i end up bringing a lunch and eating at my desk anyways.
  11. get TIVO. then you can watch OT go back to the beginning of 24 and have it all finished by 10 becasue you've ff'd through the commercials.
  12. Drew suxks. he kept commenting around it- bringing up 2 yards passing etc. i was hoping he would just spit it out- drew lost the game for us.
  13. Malbec from Argentina Los Hornitas(the ants) and Alamos are 2 good ones. should be $8-12/bottle or a Rioja from Spain Conde de ValdMar sp? Riserva or Crianza Remilurri is another good Rioja. stay away from California: Zin, Cab, Merlot or Chardonny- overpriced marketed swill until you get over the $100 range a Pinot Noir from Oregon like Adelsheim will set you back about 30 but oh so good. also for ~$30 you can get a Chateue Neuf du Pape (the Pope's new castle) like Vieux Telegraphe that will blow any Shiraz from australia away if your tired of over oaked butter flavoured stevestojan chardonny from California try a Sauvignon blanc from New Zealand. crisp, fruit flavours that stand up well with seafood. a chablis (Chardonny) from France is nice also. you can taste the varietal flavour without the oaky California flavour- how tough is it to make wine when you oak any flavour out of it? A Macon-Village or St Veran will due. no need to spring for Pouilly-Fuise. finally a Pinot Grigio from Italy will be light and crisp- anything in the $8-10 range will work. don't spend $20 for the Santa Margarita (marketed swill) Pinot Gris (same grape) from Oregon will have a little more body and fruit but will be ion the $14-16 range i apologize for the spelling
  14. i got killed in fight club i am formerly: the sundowner rusty viaduct cheese curd the name changes were due to forgoptten passwords or computer problems that wiped me out. it was easier to change names.
  15. Kelly chose to retire than to make it easier to get into the Hall of Fame. he wanted to get in before Marino and Elway and that was a down year for the Hall. he wanted to be sure because- you never know sometimes
  16. one poster puts links to the power rankings in his posts. who is he. i am too lazy to go to each site and look them up. thanks,
  17. we still as a whole have not been able to generate pressure with 4 rushers. we will niot be a dominant D until we do.

  19. bills 24 pats 13 pats primed for an upset, overlooking the Bills as they finally make it home after 3 weeks.
  20. yea, the only thing he does is run the country as the puppet master pulling w's strings.
  21. i think big Paul is much more fair than Tasker. when we suck he says so. when we are good he says so. unfortunately we have sucked for the last decade for long stretches
