Now that the team is turned over and this is beane's team I was hoping to see less pickups of old washed up vets. He got me again this year with the OJ signing. He loves the security going into the draft of having most of his holes filled. We can expect to turn over these old players next year: one or both safeties(probably 1 and 1 over the next 2 years), ~ 2 on the online, 2-3 special team starters That is how we stay competitive: replace 2-3 starters in each of the 3 phases every year with draftees/backups. Then PS players become the new backups.

OMFG: Hodgins is a JAG- nice player but no one is giving up a 2nd or 3rd for this guy between him-JAG; Stevenson, who can't hold onto the ball when he isn't hurt-JAG and Blackshear -JAG you would think we are talking about Thurman, Reed and Lofton. These guys are the David Nelson's of the league- sh!tty players that sh!tty teams keep- god bless em for making some good money for a few years : let them all go the NYG because guess what- they are a sh!tty team and they would all fit in well there

Brown showed promise last year but there were many games where he did not grade well. he was thrown in earlier than wanted. let him get healthy and then plug him in for reps at the end of blowouts as needed.

Yea, but they have to show something. This kid has shown nothing except being the next irrational hope. What has he shown after 3 years except dropping the ball and being hurt. Hodgkins has had great camps at least. We latch onto guys with no promise because we want/hope to be right about them. You should buy his jersey. Does he have a consistent number?
