  1. That was funny, he always seemed like a good dude who just got stupid with some stuff. I am happy Rex brought him back and he is been reliable since his return. I need to call the Bills store, I wanted his jersey back during his first run; if the discount still applies.
  2. Whaley had a few good picks the same way a broken clock can have the correct time twice a day. The fact that most of the people he brought in are no longer on the team is a sign that he wasn't the best GM.
  3. I hope this happens! I am not a TT fan, but if he can become reliably serviceable then the team can still get a QB of the future without rushing him into the lineup. You can also build the team up with a whole lot of picks. A reliable TT gives this team a lot of possibilities. Will this happen, time will tell!
  4. Same thing here. That was a lovely surprise. I am trusting the process more and more,
  5. That would be amazing! If you are a Bills fan then you want TT to have breakout games, make the tough throws, lead the team to wins! If he does this with consistency people will begin to stop posting criticism of his play. The problem is he hasn't been good, often or consistently. In the NFL, especially the QB position, is a show me position. Until TT shows he is can, Bills fans will remain disappointed and skeptical.
  6. No longer be the Buffalo Bills! I'd quit the team, NFL football and only watch the super bowl for the commercials.
  7. Won on a Schloppy FG!
  8. That is so silly. If TT was better QB, no one other than the true haters would be upset. When it comes to your football, the color of the skin does not matter - it's your play. When Kap was playing well and the 49ers went to the SB, I do not recall too many people being critical of him. This is not to say there isn't racism in America, but I do think when it comes to sports, people want good performance and care less about the color of skin.
  9. Live by Fitzmagic, die by Fitzpicks - Bills D should have a good day against him.
  10. Maybe not this guy, but if you want to give TT a true chance, the Bills ought to get a good receiver who could be had for cheap.
  11. Rob Riddick was the Man back in the early 80's! Off the bye and at home, Bills ought to win this one. Having said that, and knowing this team, and trusting the process, they will attempt to grab defeat from the hands of victory, but will somehow persevere!
  12. I just had two boys and I will not let them play pee-wee football. Now, I never did either but I played high school football and think for the area we are in it can be a fun sport without the pressure of being in an area's where "Friday Night Lights" are not a thing. But as much as I loved playing and enjoy watching, if they cannot evolve the game (better equipment, rule changes on contact) it will become a hybrid of rugby and flag football and play on ESPN 8 The Ocho! Bills just have to win 1 super bowl before then!
  13. I am having a kool-aid kind of morning, 11-5, lose in AFC championship game
  14. So far, this regime has not over promised anything. The coach seems to be a good football mind and the GM we will have to see at the draft. The team is playing better than last year and the defense looks solid. Sit back, relax, enjoy the show. Lets see what they do with the bye week and evaluate an entire year. At least we are not the Giants
  15. Terrible, no. Taylor is just not good. He doesn't see the field, is slow to throw and has inconsistency with his accuracy. He is almost a serviceable qb and shows flashes of good. But when he is most needed he falls short. Replace him with Kelly or even Orton and we possibly win this game.
  16. Don't be a buzz kill, this is a better start than anyone could have thought. After getting rid of key players, people were calling this year a tank. this team could have been 4-0 but is 3-1 with a huge road win. And, we have sole position of 1st place for a week. Enjoy the now!!!!
  17. This is asinine! these are same people who showed no outrage at Americans carrying Nazi flags, giving Nazi salutes and chanting Nazi slogans! I imagine this offends veterans and the military a hell of a lot more than overpaid professional athletes taking a knee. If it weren't for the Presidents comments on Friday, this would not of even been a thing. This is almost as silly as Jimbo calling out Shady.
  18. I will always love Jim Kelly, he is the QB I grew up with and I think he is a great guy. This however strikes me as a "Kids get off my lawn" moment. Shady was stretching, and I think he can be reflective while also avoiding pulling a hammy. Jimbo spoke without thinking, non story.
  19. I liked the coach/GM combo going in and do trust the process. The results make me believe the team is finally on the right path. The defense is legit. Considering prior to the season they were described overall as has beens and never weres. The defense plays tough and adjusts at the half. And today Tyrod looked like a serviceable QB. I am not predicting playoffs, but this should be a fun team to watch all season.
  20. Most people on the board thought the team was going to get crushed by Carolina and as bad as the offense was the Bills had a chance to win at the end of the game. That was on the road in a tough place to play against a good team. After two games, our defense is looking stout! The front 4 are living up to the hype, the linebackers are playing about their individual talent and the secondary is not as bad as originally thought with a nice find in Poyer! Playing at home, while rotating the front 4, the defense should be keeping up in the game. Denver's QB is good, but he's not Elway or even Newton. The eternal question is what will TT do? If the coaches can find a way to make his passing more effective for him, then this team can hang with, and beat almost any team. If TT plays like he did in Carolina, even with a good defense, this will be a hard game to win.
  21. Would have quit watching the NFL as appointment TV, would probably get interested around the playoffs but I could never root for another team. Too much sweat equity!
  22. 24-3 Bills
