jury still out but that tape didnt look good... if he cant beat press and he cant catch the balls over the middle and in traffic for fear of being decapitated that leaves him severely limited in scope for an offense... I mean I cant even see him in a gadget role running a reverse because more often than not he is gonna get hit unless he just bails.... maybe he improves, scheme helps etc and he becomes great but at this point I dont see him being the pick for me... I liked Smoke.. but it was a very similar situation he wasnt gonna do much more than go deep and play sidelines...

I dont disagree here... I think he thrives on consistency, his teams are talented enough to hang in every game.. and typically do... but playoff time you need to raise it another level and that may mean you need to adjust your mundane consistency to more appropriate risk taking as teams have an entire year and body of work to scheme your team. I feel like if you throw the old the way we have always done it you and up at a disadvantage especially with teams that are as or maybe even marginally more talented then you. Specifically KC who I think pound for pound is more talented. Thing is the more talented team doesnt always win, but coaching becomes more important in those situations... (see Bills/Giants SB).... lets see if he learns.

100% agree here... I would love to see how he operates... I hope its truly authentic and he gets into the real nitty gritty.

Depends on the kids and how old, I would say one of my fav things about this is seeing how excited the kids get. Most of the time it looks like the players get a big kick out of interacting with them.

EJ actually I didnt hate the pick, because I was like finally someone understands that you need a QB to be successful in the league after so many years of trying to re tread backups albiet it was an epic stretch.... Unfortunately, it was also an epic bust. But I gave Whaley credit for trying... but man that was a bad QB draft.

QBs are so tough to get right I remember passing on Russell Wilson twice and not gonna lie didn't want him. I remember Marino lasting to 27 and of course the anomalies of Brady, Kurt Warner and even to an extent Romo. Sometimes you just gotta keep buying tickets. Heck I remember the people that thought Leaf should went before Manning lol
