  1. I get that, but I think his availability is part of what we have seen... maybe he is just incredibly unfortunate... it will be an interesting call .... from my part the second guessing of the coaches decisions are good discussion.... but to be honest, I trust them and what they see over me about 99% of the time...
  2. Seems like a reasonable list, not much for lists... I would say this... if two or three of the following: Cook, Kincaid, Spencer Brown, Terrell Bernard, Rasul Douglas Ed Oliver, Rousseau or Von crack this list next year, we will have had a pretty good season. Some guys on the cusp or with the theoretical talent to make it. Should they up their games to play like it then sounds good to me.
  3. If I am Beane, I am gonna gamble that the upside to Elam is higher than what we could receive in a prospective trade... and roll with it.... now that is not saying it wont flop and we wont be second guessed because that gamble failed... But I have seen enough to say, lets let this play out.... rather that bring in a mediocre player (with cap implications) who needs to learn the system etc... or a day 3 pick.
  4. I agree, I think you got what you got in Spector, we know his ceiling, he isnt gonna break out to be the next coming of Milano etc... Honestly, I would take my shot with Andreesen and give it a go... Spector can go to the PS if no one picks him up and be brought in for injury and hope his durability holds.
  5. Just moved to Tampa, said screw it got it... not missing games if I can help it.
  6. Always mixed emotion on cut down day, excited to see what the roster turns out to be... then the oh you made it but we picked someone up on waivers so now your out... to the resigning of the practice squad folks and all that... but I cant help but feel for those guys whose dreams are about to get smacked as they are sent on their way as Chuck Noll used to say... "To get on with their lives work".... all the best to them.
  7. Not a lot to add here other than I appreciate the work going into this post. I definitely learned a bunch.
  8. Plus Milano is out for a long time so he should be safe for awhile
  9. My point is that he is a developing player who I think needs to improve in pass coverage I would not want to see him cut I think putting him on the practice squad instead could help him be a solid nfl player. He makes the team however that's great he can hone his skills that way. For me I like him he reminds me a lot of Milano he needs to polish his game though. Raw ability seems to be there. Either way I would like to see him make it and if it's the PS then so be it I think he can improve his game there
  10. He would definitely benefit from the PS I think
  11. Agreed a lot of them were a la Tremaine 7 yards down the field I actually was going to put him in he looked like a QB to me.... maybe PS for him if Trubisky comes back
  12. KC or Pittsburgh nice midsized cities with solid organization, fans are rabid and it isn't as cold as Green Bay and Cleveland is just a mess.... NY, Chicago Dallas Houston... etc...too big a city for me California just NO....
  13. This is 100% truth... he will lose us games this year I fear unless we make a change
  14. Ingram and Gore... Andreeson looked ok but was not anywhere near as impactful with the scrubs as he was with the starters in front
  15. Well I don't know but I am thinking I could stay with him for AT LEAST 13 seconds.... 😆
  16. They really dont... unless it is a celebrity bourbon... then I wont buy I because I have found the price gets jacked for the name...
  17. I think the experiment has almost as much to do with the guard play and the replacement there. So I feel like I gotta see the starters play over a few games to judge. JMO...
  18. OMG LOL nice catch, I swore I typed Bert... wont blame it on auto correct thought... clear brain cramp 🤣
  19. I would prefer to let him play this year out for sure as well... I am not down on Knox either, but I think he fetches a price if you think that Morris and Davidson come close to filling that gap.... but trading him could produce a huge cap hit too... so its just theoretical.
  20. Bringing me back to Bart Jones and Lydell Mitchell when the Colts were in the division... oh and Buffalo Joe Ehrmann
  21. I could see Knox , Hollins, Clapp, DeShawn Williams, and Elam as ones who could bring assets back with only a minor potential downgrade at the position. agreed and in the end if Allen is out for an extended period of time we are screwed anyways with either.
  22. Well that is good news... I hope they arent rushing him back its a long season but I trust they do whats right with the player...
