Craig Morton put the Broncos on the map. Not the most physically gifted but tough as nails. I remember him in the Super Bowl playing with a horrific hip injury the literally had him in the hospital the whole week for the the title game against the Raiders.

I am not sure I agree here... but will acknowledge those thoughts crossed my mind. I am pretty sure Josh did not run by design with his hand. So I think they were focused on the running game and getting the ball out quick to avoid hits. Game played right into it and it helped us run the clock. That said I would like to see a deep threat emerge wondered what happened to Coleman too

Dont disagree... he wasnt "Dynamic" but quite effective and clearly an improvement over last year. I like them utilizing him situationally so he can be paced. Then who knows maybe they increase his workload.

agreed, Von is getting too much money for a 3rd down guy... BUT, thats spilled milk, I think the contract is what it is, however, as a football coach you need to maximize production and effectiveness regardless of what they are getting paid. I like the plan here.. conservative use... if down the line he becomes more effective then he plays more. But no sense over utilizing if he isnt going to be effective as a 3 down guy or a 2 down guy. Groot, I couldnt agree more... I hope he becomes dominant we are gonna need someone in that vein on Defense. He I think is our best shot for an all round dominant defensive playmaker.

I wonder though how long this will take to actually go down... like the investigation will take this season, then the suspension wont come till sometime next season so they are still on the hook with this guy for at least this year and part of next. I wouldnt put it past the NFL to drag their feet in the suspension to punish the Browns especially if this guy is benched... Now dont get me wrong, I dont want them to be done any favors for their stupidity, I would like them to have to pay and stew in it.. then again, I dont want him to get paid either cause he is a sc$mbag IMO. Either way this guy and the Browns are a cluster....
