and who knows maybe it makes zero difference... I just think a few reps for a guy poised to take on a much larger role in the offense and be a focal point of DB coverage would provide some benefit... in the end I guess McD will make the determination if it will help or not. I guess we find out Sat at 1pm lol

I went to the one in Minneapolis... holy crp that place gets cold.

Bills are NFL’s most popular franchise worldwide? Really?
JP51 replied to Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know I also think thats a great point as well about Bills Mafia... I think people like the crazy for sure... but I also think that there is a lot of respect out there for what they do for not only this community but others... Going back to Andy Dalton and Lamar, Darryl Talley etc... -
Not sure what you are asking here. With Shakir, I think its really more he is going to be new at a starting position, getting him a few reps would in my opinion be good.

I think JA has a lot to do with this for sure.. Pretty charismatic kid out there with his actress/Model/Whatever Girlfriend ... I dont think that is the only thing, but it sure helps to have kind likeable face of the franchise. -
I think you are right on this conceptually, in the end, coaches need to make that decision do they just need reps or are they looking to assess. If they felt that way I guess I am fine with that for sure. From my perspective at a minimum I would like to get McGovern out there with or without Josh to snap the ball and make line calls for a series or two... just to get him a couple reps in a new position... (Yes maybe even Edwards and Torrence, I wasnt looking to do a "list" per se but they absolutely could be part of that. Dawkins... well... take it or leave it.) Definately want Bass out there with or without his eventual holder and snapper to get some reps in etc... I totally worry about injuries in pre season and camp. Gotta strike a balance I think between preparation and protection. And quite honestly its a tough call for the coaches to make I am sure... I like being on the 2nd guessing side of that particular decision LOL

Tyreek Hill gets contract restructured - $90 million next 3 seasons
JP51 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, happy or not, I cannot imagine this structure of contracts will stand in 2027, I think they are gonna have to pivot hard at some point. Either they win it all and have to pivot, or Tua isnt all that and they have to figure how to get out of it. Different I think from the Bills, in that we already know JA is the guy and have done things to relieve some of the cap strain with some high paid vets... Miami will have to do the same only I still feel that QB is uncertain. I think the Jets situation is this on steroids with a much shorter window. Either way I believe we are better positioned for the future then either of them. -
agree or be traded before the deadline at a discount because he is a distraction...

No.

Some should play a series or two that are new to their position... Like McGovern, Shakir, maybe Samuel... etc.. although I may keep guys like Rapp out of there
-
I wish him the best unless he is playing us, then I hope he gets a mild stomach bug that keeps him in the lockeroom stalls for a few hours starting around 1pm... Shame to see him go, but those injuries are hard... I hope he can stay healthy and lose to us in the Superbowl ( and in that case, I hope the mild stomach bug starts around 6:30 pm LOL )

This doesnt hurt them much now, but certainly locks up cap space in the future... I want it to bode badly for them, but I am sure there is some creative cap stuff they will work out. I think the big piece here is how long is TH going to be elite this year, maybe next....Hill is a major threat, but he really hasnt been a difference maker in winning games against us. Now they are totally committed to him for 3 years (at ultimately 34 by the end of the deal) and it will cost them at the end in some way. In the end I think its the Tua thing that will make or break them... Team wise and Cap wise... If Tua progresses a step or two past where he is, (maybe two) they have a shot in the next few years (although they lost alot on D and have had massive injuries) If he stays the same or gets figured out or injured I am not sure the Hill contract or retention of services means alot one way or the other... they arent contenders and would end up having massive money committed to QB and need to look for another or accept the limitations of what Tua is... I think the Browns are finding themselves in that situation... (no tears there)... -
And many more!

agree and if we can add a third no one saw coming that ups the skill level a bit and get a pick for Morris, even better. Not sure people don't wait for cuts... but stranger things have happened... I didnt know he punted... seriously that could be a thing to consider when making a call if its close. -

Ah yes this game is toxic LOL... not really even resembling a legit NFL game... but yet I am gonna watch like a moth to the flame... and then after an O and D possession for each team ditch it for a Padron and Bourbon on the Lanai... -
Maybe we can get an exemption for him! LOL 😆

Exactly! and I have no idea how this turns out, but seems like he is gonna be a 1 trick deep threat if he can release at the line... -
Now would be a good time to move Douglas to Safety
