I agree with this and I would include Bernard as well in this mix... hated to see him get hurt but really happy to see the upgrade in Shaq.... with respect to Gabe... I am not ready to get there... I think he is coming off a pretty significant knee injury... lets see how it plays out...

At this point I take Hollins over Palmer any day so far... add in the Salary difference and its a no brainer... Hollins brought something to the room people loved...

I have no idea nor have I heard anything about the rationalization... I assume that McDermott felt that Coleman, Cooks. This is another concerning point...

I compare him in a strange way to Mack Hollins... this guy, as well as Mack, are such positive influences in that room... total team guys... limited a smidgen on the talent side but still productive and seems to make big plays in the clutch... with Knox, like Hollins you have to consider their overall impact to the team when looking at their production... those are just two guys I want on my side... (never should ditched Hollins)

I think this is overly critical of a guy who had a pretty poor 2nd half when we finally began to pressure him.... Bottom line, my opinion is that Drake Maye will need to be contended with for the next 12 or 15 years... he is currently the 2nd best QB in the division and will progress from there... to what I do not know but I dont think he is gonna get worse... a JAG... I am sorry but in my opinion that is whistling by the graveyard while wishful thinking.... time will tell. I hope you are correct... a 1st or 2nd place schedule next year may help us know for sure... but based on age and ceiling potential... which QB in the AFC are you taking over him.... Allen obviously, Burrow who is always hurt.. probably but... and... Who? Tua, Talyor or Fields, Sanders, Rodgers, Lawrence, Herbert mmmm maybe, Mahomes with an ACL tear... Nix, Rivers? Maybe Stroud...? Probably not Jackson he seems to be breaking down... Ward, Gino? I hope he pulls a Sanchez and falls off the cliff... and is a dolt... but I suspect that isnt going to be steeped in reality...

Amen... there have been a few folks (few and far between and none of them Pats fans) that actually contributed a bit and had a decent discussion... I dont hate that, but I dont think they are trolls either... most of them liked the Bills as a second team but their primary team was someone else... like to me thats fine... but when it is obvious they are coming in to talk smack... or whatever... I will say only this... I thought the calls that were made were all technically correct... I am not saying they were called consistently that ticky tack all game.... I am also not complaining about the refs this week... McDermott for not challenging that call/ New York for not reviewing the dropped 3rd and long that led to the 1st TD I take a bit of issue with... other than that I would say we for once were not screwed by the officials...

So, literally I think this too... BUT I think the league behind closed doors is saying well we cant tell people to let up on the QB but we can call them for roughing if they go in too hard and cant control themselves... I see this on the slide as well... so people are gonna get RTP penalties that are unfair but ultimately we will achieve the result we are looking for and send the message we dont want these guys knocked out of the game... (see the dude that saved JA's knee ) I do think they will back off a smidgen at some point but it is hard to deny that the message has been received. And for those that dont take it easy on the QB they are gonna get penalized, fined or both... but I am with you... it certainly isnt "fair" but it is likely effective. We saw the same thing in hockey with high sticking... guys getting their sticks lifted and taking penalties... tripping or falling and their sticks get up... league is saying be in control of your stick at all times if not... box... I think the league saw way to many eye injuries, teeth, cuts etc.... so it may not be fair... but it has been effective... folks are no longer taking liberties with their sticks like they used too... but there is a cost for both and fairness is part of that cost.
