  1. Totally random non epic title winning faves 3 Rich Camarillo backwards put game just nasty out Bills put a beat down on Arizona and they looked like the wanted to go home all day 2. Jets Bills -23 windchill game less about the game more about the tailgate had to hold our beers over the burn barrell to keep them from freezing 1. 1973 Bills Raiders preseason game 2nd in Rich Stadium history i was 5 with my Dad and all of my Uncles i felt like one of the guys
  2. We would need to be hit pretty hard with injuries for the 11th week Cooper scenario to play out.. yes..
  3. Agreed, someone posted a pic of Hurts and Allen... Hurts had his D stop KC 9 times in the game... Buffalo has had Nine stops in the playoffs in the past 4 years... or something like that... can you imagine if the defense got Josh the ball back even 1/4 of that time how many more possessions he would have... even looking at Lamar Jacksons numbers... its nice when you actually dont have to wait 7 minutes in a quarter to get the ball back...
  4. Uhm... I never said he was going to rip it up... I said I could see this happening... especially if other options are not gonna produce differently and dont know the system... you disagree.. fine... either way signing him at the end of a season as a body that knows the system because we are deep into injuries and options are limited isnt going to upgrade your WR or win you a superbowl... however, I could see a move like this being made in that scenario... lets hope we dont have to find out. Oh, and I agree with you... Beane is no WR Savant...
  5. Honestly, in that scenario, where you are pretty desperate because of injury at the very end of a season, to me there is value in getting someone that knows the offense... at that point pickings are slim, cash is tight and the up to speed window is small... IMO this is a whole lot different than brining him back to be your number 2 guy and paying him... this is a band aid to stop bleeding. This is even if he is available... and wants to play...
  6. This I could see... he is available... its week 11, we have a couple injuries at WR... I could see them pulling a Beasley/J Brown thing with him in a pinch. Outside of that... not so much...
  7. I agree... I havent independantly verified this.. but geez... if its accurate this is pretty telling.
  8. I forgot they lost both C's this is a very good point...
  9. Oh and throwing Neon as the proud papa into that locker room is gonna play into the divisiveness...
  10. I said, Locking up Myles Garrett was a plus... but have they encouraged players to go public to the media to express their displeasure so they can get new contracts... that is a slippery slope... I did not say Cleveland overtly said, Hey Miles... why dont you go to the media with your complaints.... I said Locking him up was a plus... but doing so AFTER he literally said I want out, you guys arent winners and I am going to go to the media with it.... I questioned if this could be an issue... essentially they rewarded behavior that was likely damaging to the team...maybe there are players or coaches who didnt appreciate that... and his punishment is a large raise.... maybe other important and disgruntled players want more money and they said no... so my question is does caving to Garrett in a situation like that embolden these folks to do the same maybe maybe not... However, I just don't believe it is a positive situation when players are taking their gripes to the media as opposed to resolving them internally.. this tends to create chaos in an organization as well as polarization in the locker room if it gets ugly enough.
  11. When I saw the Mike and the ish... I swear it was gonna read Mike Kadish... LOL I really wanted to drop a "thats what she..... " comment on there but I will refrain LOL
  12. I kinda agree... cant live life in fear... sh?t happens... but don't encourage sh/t to happen by being dumb...
  13. Shaw... I have followed you for 15 years here (even though I have only posted for 1 yr) I have never seen you ever be disrespectful to any poster... I take none... With respect to your thoughts, I am not sure where you are getting I am disagreeing with you in fact I cant disagree with a thing you said... I think my commentary was to the extreme opposites of opinion on the board.. from he isnt good why did we sign him to this is great... I am simply saying I am in the middle of the pack in my opinion... I like the signing, I like we are trying to improve the team and I like the fact there is a potential upside greater than just a moderate contributor even though I am not expecting it... and even more so I like the fact he is taking shots at players with upside over veterans like OBJ etc... so lets call it what it is... this is not supposed to be a savior signing nor is it a bad one... Beane is trying to improve the team and add speed... this may work, it may not... but the signing and taking a chance on a cheaper player with upside potential i am not going to disagree with... like Jerry Hughes.. most thought he would come in and produce... I just never expected him to have the kind of impact that he did... I was happily surprised... I this player will come in and make the team fill in as a 4th WR add some speed and make some catches and give us another speed threat that we need. I feel like a nice moderate contribution... If he become our No 1 or 2 WR threat... awesome! Maybe he will... and thats why I dont mind taking chances from time to time on young players with upside potential... if he flops out... oh well, we took a shot, didnt kill the cap and that means someone in house is better...
  14. and understanding sometimes they dont work out... but at least we aren't paying millions to OBJ or Cooper etc... and there is an upside potentially...
  15. You are correct, no one really knows... but what fun would it be on an opinion speculation thread to say... we dont know ask me in 3 years... With respect to the Browns, I am also factoring in the locker room... and despite being terrible, needing to install a new offense with Dorsey gone or go back to Stephanik's... Watson still being there is a permanent stain on this team that keeps giving etc... then drafting 2 QBs , losing Brissett and bringing back Flacco at 78 years old LOL... I just think is a lot of offseason uncertainty to an offense that was very fragile to begin with... Locking up Myles Garrett was a plus... but have they encouraged players to go public to the media to express their displeasure so they can get new contracts... that is a slippery slope... all and all I think Cleveland has a greater chance of getting worse this year than better...
  16. Well I wont disagree with you there... Clearly Lofton was the extreme example... but I would say lots of folks that I am reading seem to be more excited about this pick up than me, thinking he is really going to change our offensive dynamic... he might... but I dont think so... Conversely, I am seeing a lot of he just isnt that good... etc.. To that I am simply saying look maybe his one or the other... but likely he will be a fair pickup that will give us modest production he will likely not be either extreme and I don't mind taking a shot with players that may come in and over produce... like lets say a Jerry Hughes (better example than Lofton) ... who at pick up I never thought you would get that kind of production out of him.. every now and again it works...
  17. LOL, not sure I am hedging but clearly I am not committing... I just dont think we are getting our savior here (like we did Lofton back in the day) ... I think he ends up in the range of a guy who doesnt make the team like an Claypool or eventually MVS to a moderate contributor say a healthier Samuel... Maybe he goes off and becomes the next greatest thing... I have no idea... we can hope he does... but I think he ends up being a 4th/5th guy on the roster... certainly not your WR2... Not sure that is a hedge, I might venture its probably where most people sit... so let me ask you in all honesty... Where do you think he slots in the WR rankings and production...
  18. LOL... Run 9 into the flat.. leave the C and Josh back.. like we did in the playground... LOL
  19. I think Cleveland, Miami and Pittsburgh probably the worst... Cleveland because... well they are Cleveland, Miami because it sounds like they have a bit of a locker room issue, Pittsburgh because they are literally in QB hell... I think it gets worse if they sign Rodgers... that will just put off the inevitable... Best I don't know really, I think New England getting adult supervision in their coaching ranks and some very interesting signings may have done well... and I will actually give the Bills some props.. sometimes retaining your own and not losing key players is about as good as anything...
  20. I like that they are trying to find someone to resurrect cheaply based on our cap situation... that said, I dont have hopes that this guy turns into the next James Lofton pickup back in the 90s. I think he will be closer to MVS ... but one can always hope.. and at least this gives us something to hope for... but all too often those resurrection candidates you get cheaply amount to very little... (Coop, MVS, Claypool etc... and no I am not comparing this guy to Coop etc... just in general) ... we shall see and we shall hope...
  21. So you are correct if you are talking about a traditional golf cart, this one is set up to be street legal, with the appropriate base and tires. seat belts etc... HOWEVER, still scares me so it was I wanna see how fast this thing goes... I did, 31mph... but I dont feel good with anything over 15 - 20 on straight aways, and I am an old lady around turns LOL...
  22. Thats what I was thinking, I have a 4 seater that is street legal... he would need to have been hanging on to where the golf bags go, or it was someones private cart..
  23. He apparently is now deceased.
  24. I think some lady killed a bride leaving her wedding reception flying around on a golf cart...
