  1. I think we are better served finding out what we have in Kincaid... Knox is an acceptable go to... if we were to make another signing I would like to see some DB depth...
  2. I suspect Bosa will play out as a moderate disappointment.... for all of the reasons you mentioned... that said... I like the signing... sometimes to win it all you need a little bit of luck on your side... he is our lottery ticket... if he can conjure 1 Pro Bowl season and 10+ sacks especially with dominance in the playoffs... he could be the luck we needed... big gamble though.... like Von redeux... you just hope it turns out better than that played out...
  3. Yeah, I think if you are talking about superstar like outside of the lines.. meaning media attention, I agree... then again, what LT gets Papa John's commercials LOL... although, I think Papa John's or some food company should sign him... I can see him at a table with like 8 pizza's smacking someone that wanted a slice 😆 Like "Papa John's pizza's are so good you might even try to steal a slice from Dion Dawkins..." then he lays the lumber on the dude trying to grab a slice... I shoulda been in advertising LOL....
  4. I honestly would say his drafting is improving... if you can get 3 starters out of a 7 round draft... you are doing really well... IMO... If you look at 2022... you are looking at 3 ProBowl or ProBowl potential starters... thats a good draft... made the Elam thing into an ooops my bad..
  5. Yeah, I would not say he has the potential... I would say he already is... as much as Tackles can be super stars... his is pretty elite at his position currently.
  6. I think Benford is as close to an existing SS as we have on D... Cook with 16tds if he is not then should be deemed most probable on Offense. I am holding out hope for Kincaid on O as well I think he has that potential. On D gonna need to be Rousseau improving his game or come from the rookie class... I am sticking with Landon...
  7. I agree beat the Cowboys once and the narrative probably changes... but in the end TT isnt lacking for love, won an MVP, BHOF,NFL HOF.... he's doin fine... but I would definately put him in the underrated category before the over rated. But over all he gets his due.
  8. I think also that felony probie has language about leaving the county although I suspect as long as he is doing so for work it could be allowed ...
  9. I dont disagree... they really need to police on field issues... to ensure fair competition... I get character stuff too... especially if it is some kind of domestic violence.. other things like abject stupidity... well.. sure hand out a suspension to validate your public image clause.. but 12 games or something... I dunno that seems like a bit of an over reach to me... I am trying to remember a few years ago wasnt Ed Oliver involved in some kind of drag racing... maybe there was a gun involved incident.. I am not sure if he was suspended for that...
  10. Agreed and fair or not it is what it is... I will say this about employment... I have a clause in mine that says xyz and if I do xy or z I can be fired... I think players have clauses like this and it is part of the CBA so I get the league wanting to discipline on top of the court decisions... for the exact reasons you delineated.
  11. Best of luck VM hope we meet in the playoffs! aaaaand thats why they call you logic LOL... I agree 100% btw
  12. OMG for years I sat in section 201 I think back corner of the old scoreboard side end zone I was in row 4... and we would lean over the wall and just lay into him... and everytime that man ran out of the tunnel he would run directly to our corner and start trash talking... this would literally go on for almost a minute.... and then he would run back to the sidelines.. I hated him with a passion but in retrospect... honestly.. I love he remembered us and came over to yap back and forth... so fast forward 20 years, I run into him in Florida and he is talking to people and signing autographs etc... and I went up to him and said I was one of those guys in the corner of the end zone that you ran over to yap with ... and he laughed... and said you know... it was part of my routine every time I came to Buffalo... it got me all fired up lol... and I am like yes... us too lol... then we laughed Bro hugged and I moved on... I can tell you I probably wouldnt have been as brave if it was 2 or 3 years after he left lol... figured I was good after 20...
  13. I would normally say no freaking way... but if they screw this up, Hendrikson up, keep a sieve for an OL and not make the playoffs again this year... I mean... who could blame him...
  14. Honestly I think that all the time... as of this point with regards to JA I can think of no one and I mean no one in the history of Buffalo sports that was more beloved... when we speak of generational I think that applies to the persona as well... just seems to genuinely appreciate and is grateful for what he has been blessed with... He is a rare dude indeed... I agree... we are here for Championships for sure... but this is more than that... even if he never wins one (I said in another post) he is at this point the most beloved figure in Buffalo sports history... I can think of no one that really that would be more beloved... He is a rare combination of ability and lead by example leadership and humble appreciation for all he has been blessed with... you can tell, he knows its good to be him... but he certainly doesnt take it for granted.
  15. I remember a time when this comment would have devolved into a bitter take sides debate... now it illicits only laughter... LOL
  16. Depends on how many Draughts the Drought Bills had... over under at 12.5 Draughts... LOL sorry man I couldnt help it... 🤣
  17. agreed... I think Bo Jackson did this drafted by Tampa didnt report played baseball and then re entered... but I dont know a whole lot more risk playing DL in football than outfield in Baseball... still risk... but not like that...
  18. This is interesting... if I may ask because I never heard of qualifiers... what are they generally? and Kincaid is too skinny, but as long as he runs faster than Keon and their isnt a spleen involved we are good to go.
  19. Methinks Stewart is posturing here... something tells me he will show up in Cinci at somepoint... but interesting play by him... I am just not convince he is gonna leave Millions on the table and risk going back getting injured etc... but geez I wonder what he is all out of joint about.
  20. I also believe he beat the Cowboys in his first NFL start.... as well... winning 9 more times in his illustrious 15 year career.... gotta give him credit though... hung for 15 years started about 1 or 2 games a season average held that clip board tight, got paid... and walked away from the game with no limp... I would love that job... lol
  21. I am just gonna put it out there... thats a lot of money to commit to a player that honestly is all world talented but really seems to be a bit of a physical and mentally injured problem... obviously the Jets feel different. I am feeling like he is turning into a bit of a head case... that will likely get worse if the Jets dont get better.
  22. Pretty much what I am saying... like you get what you get... if you are looking for a game wrecker probably not happening... so to me expecations need to be farily good starter with flashes... that said he needed more consistency last year...
  23. I agree, and I hear the banter of the all star team... and who knows with these things. Maybe they are right, Rocky Marciano may have beat Ali... lol... but here is why i believe dominate the all stars. 1. You are taking a group of players that many have never played together in their first year as a team and pitting them against a cohesive team that perennially advances in the playoffs... that rarely works out well for the allstars 2. Your head coaching despite the mixed MCDermott reviews would be quite inferior thinking Jauron, Rex, Mularkey, St Doug, Gailey et all... 3. The QB situation means everything to me and the difference is drastic... Extolling the virtues of a statue in Bledsoe doesnt help 4. This current team goes for about 13 wins in the current NFL with current players and current team... Best all drought team won 9 games. Why we would we expect a different performance against a Bills all star team that really would be their first year together in many instances 5. Non quantifiable but many believe that the performance of athletes trend up over time as they incorporate diet, training methods etc... they become faster stronger etc.... I am not sure athletes from 15-20 years ago perform in todays NFL in the same manner... but who knows... 6. Lastly, this team knows how to win at least in the regular season... those drought teams averaged about 6 or 7 mins. This to me as far as team, locker room, handling of pressure etc... is big... So, I know there are differences here, I think one person called me absurd lol for thinking the Bills would have a similar regulars season record as they do typically in their performance against a newly formed Bills all star team... who knows maybe they are right... they would be worse... but I just dont see it.
  24. I dont know all of the facts maybe there is more to this... but my very initial reaction is C'mon man... with all the crap going on in this world this is what people wanna "Karen" about... I guess... but geez... * separate topic... rumor has it Bridgewater just checked the final box to officially hit the radar of the Chiefs.. Gardner Minshew's house is now for sale... stay tuned... LOL... I mean someone had to put this out there.... sorry.... ..... not sorry...
  25. Oh I remember that play... lol... kinda reminded me of Clod Collins first snap in a pre season game where he got blitzed, sh#t himself , corkscrewed himself into the ground fumbled the ball and went into the fetal position... I was like cut this dude right now... lol
