  1. When someone has a good sound plan and can explain it so it is clear and if it's also a reasonable logical process that alone demonstrates good coaching ability as for any good coach it helps to be a good teacher/communicator.
  2. Think they meant wonder if he was in Carolina while Pollan was there.
  3. Pegula may have been new to nfl and how to run a team but Terry was still a successful business man and when they interviewed Sean who's so very detail oriented wouldn't have been hard to be impressive. I bet he was able to detail how he would build up a team and the plan to bring in beane as new gm. After Rex and his build a bully plan it wouldn't even take much to have a plan that was better. I expect any question they asked Sean he had answers and of such nature it was easy to follow and feel certain that the plan was achievable with the proper effort and here we are. If Sean swung and missed we'd still have a solid team, but luckily they backed a winner.

  5. I myself don't believe they have a better qb or a better te. They have more players that are considered elite by a large consensus of fans and since they have won a SB they have a larger recognition factor among fans of other teams. They have quality players but Bills have alot of quality players as well just less recognized even by some of Bills Mafia. Lucky for us we have an elite front/office - coaching staff and they built up a close-knit team that does believe in each other. I 100% believe the Bills as a team have overtaken the Chiefs and that it will show up in how the game unfolds. We all have seen how Josh Allen has responded when the team has fallen short. We have yet to witness how Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs respond when they fall short of expectations. I think if the Bills get the jump on the Chiefs early they can cause the Chiefs to fall apart and show they are a jaggerNOT and the Bills are a jaggernaut, or maybe a Jallenaut.
  6. No way should they trade our backup qb. Hate to risk the chemistry between a new 3rd string qb and center, too much risk of bobbled handoffs to blow the next shutouts. Let Seattle make due with what they got if it bites them I could not care less.
  7. I find it more interesting the timing of uncovering the email. Funny it was a blatant racial slur according to some of the headlines and its against a man that was not getting unanimous support from his unions selection committee for whatever reasons they stopped supporting him. So the timing leads me to believe it was timed to take the depiction to the player reps, who did vote him back in. The only question is which party was behind it to secure his new term. I have no stake in which side did what and I have no inside knowledge to lean either way. The timing makes it unlikely to just be a cowinkydink as I would say, dunno if you Google it if anyone else uses that phrasing for coincidence, but I promise you I have, usually with a slightly exaggerated wink to indicate its blatant setup. I'd make sure the investigation also verifies the timestamp to be sure it wasn't a tampered email. Just not sure who was behind securing new term for DeMaurice Smith. Just kinda blatant theres some powerplay shenanigans going on here.
  8. Actually I'm pretty sure I mess up alot on my punctuation more my limited ability to navigate the keyboard on my phone. I try editing but I usually just say the dogs blood cholera to it. Google that you'll get it. If your Polish you already got it probably. I worry more about the content of my posts than perfect punctuation.
  9. Well mangling the truth could be used to describe a lie. After all a lie is by definition a distortion of the truth so that definition fits at least for those of us that have an extensive vocabulary and the ability to use it without needing to look it up for proof its a valid definition.
  10. Indeed, plus players who he's been coaching are gonna know firsthand how he conducts himself with perhaps some rookies or newly signed free agents as the only ones that might pause and watch how he reacts to the email surfacing. Players that know him will hold opinions based on their own interactions with Gruden.
  11. I've never heard the expression either but doesn't mean he's lying because I've never heard it. So I cannot say he's got rubbery lips himself. Heck I would just come out and say I felt he was lying in plain English. I personally feel racism is more common among less intelligent people and so while his choice of idioms can be construed several ways someone that was truly racist wouldn't be able to consistently hide it being they'd in my opinion be already hampered by a lower intelligence and incapable of fooling everybody as long as his entire career. In which he's dealing with numerous players who would be the target of his racist views. Not sure I know of many racists that would work side by side with as many black players as he's worked with and there's only one email that can be misconstrued to fitting into a racist agenda. I can think of plenty of different racist-toned slang he could have used if that was his intent. Plus he'd have had numerous opportunities to have let some inappropriate remarks escape in the ups and downs of emotions in a highly contested football game. There would have been backlash even before this current 'woke' culture because being 'woke' isn't anything new there are many instances in history where you can witness awareness of injustices getting a voice.
  12. Well tires are made from rubber, it isn't much if a stretch to see it was following along his habit of calling someone rubbery lips if he felt they weren't totally honest. If Gruden held racist views I'm sure it would have surfaced long ago as he is in a profession that has a larger than average percentage of minorities than in most employment settings. I just don't think he could hold racist views and be able to hide it in his position for the entirety of his career. If he has then we've all lost on seeing the finest actor and he truly chose the wrong profession.
  13. I read on chiefs board that Jones dropped a bunch of weight to play end faster i suppose. If so he may have lost some strength that he had last year against the guards. Maybe enough that the matchup doesn't guarantee same results if they do try to send him in against our guards whomever they go with. Its gonna be interesting who wins the trenches with the changes there are since last year. Im also gonna go with Spencer Brown as he's gonna be a handful for their dl that they didn't have to worry about last year.
  14. Oh no worries Bills offense will further expose KC lack of defensive answers to our offensive weapons. And our defense will continue its knack for takeaways that will leave no doubt that defense still wins championships. The Chiefs won't recover to make a renewed motivated run to make it to the playoffs. Instead the cracks in that team following the beatdown the Bills defense serves up will complete the revelation that KC/Mahomes era is not gonna rule the NFL like Pats/Brady era. Be more talk of a Bills/Allen era that could compete. Except imho think they will continue to build up as a complete team offense/defense and because of the strength of both will start the how do you stop the Bills narrative that won't produce many answers for quite some time.
  15. Oh ye of little faith. You will see them stopped by this version of the Bills defense. The offense will continue to look like its just plodding along but in reality Josh and the offense are just giving the defense time to be rested and time for some strategy to be discussed based on the looks the offense is giving them. Easier to play fast when u aren't dead tired and can maintain higher focus easier when fresh. They will stop Mahomes, because he is gonna be under pressure to keep pace with Allen and co. Not positive how many turnovers our defense will incur but they keep making it look easy. I expect that to be the big storyline after Bills end the losing streak to Mahomes and KC. I'm hoping they shut him out or as low scoring as they can make it. With enough turnovers a shutout is possible. That's how I'm expecting the game to go and I plan on enjoying the show however the Bills decide to make the game entertaining. I think the revamped defense and the new pass rush cause more problems for KC then people expect. It's like last year everyone was waiting for the real Josh to show up. This year its gonna be when is this defense gonna slow down. And I'm hoping it is breaking some records on route to first Bills SB victory.
  16. Wait was that burrow in a blonde wig and in drag bumping up against Meyers in that bar video?
  17. No its never right to insinuate blame on teammates. Its not his job thats a coaches job. A team of lesser talent but greater team mentality will outdo a team of greater talent but lesser team orientation id give 80% of the time. Im not talking huge talent/team cohesion gaps just a notch less intact still will produce a larger skewed result imho. Teamwork is very often overlooked when ppl just focus on the highlights. Teamwork is never aout assigning individual blame. Gilmore is more self motivated over team oriented. At least he's close to his people as he's from that area so likely he'll maybe fit in there, he'd be a bad fit with the bills culture as it is these days.
  18. Well shady now has first hand experience playing with Josh, Patrick and Tom Brady. His opinion on how to rank each one would be very unique in that sense. He has actual exp with each one having won SB with both PM and TB, I'd be interested to know his true opinion on the 3 when he rates each of their pros/cons. If nothing else the personal experience playing with all 3 gives Shady's opinion more weight to anyone who prefers more fact driven opinion over stat watching suppositions.
  19. No, but I think they are gonna find out soon. I'd love it if they would set aside say 10% of the profits and I'm thinking it could be alot. Set up a couple scholarships to benefit school districts children. A community service scholarship named after Josh's grandfather 'Buzz', an athletic based scholarship named after Josh, could have a grant to help gifted but ill children by providing them with tutors if they are too ill to attend school in person. In home tutor visits alongside internet and computer equipment to have classes over web, either one on one or some kind of zoom group classes. If Josh Allen progresses as we all hope and now even expect he will, they could really make a Allen/Firebaugh brand that could set up a nice local foundation. JA17 is more of an philanthropic family brand than the TB12 self-promoting brand.
  20. Really depends. Not in anyway claiming to have any facts on these allegations, are they a setup, are they a money grab are any of the claims true. Could be combo of all thee above with 24 seperate charges. 2 charges are only criminal accusations from 2 women who aren't filing monetary lawsuits. If there is sufficient evidence he may not have the ability to settle those and if found guilty only thing he maybe settling is who gets the top bunk.
  21. I expect a shutout every game until the other team scores. After the goose egg is broken I just expect them to keep it difficult for other team to score additional points. I don't demand shutouts but I always will expect it. With this coaching regime and this franchise QB and skill players we have on both side as of the ball. Teams during the drought not so much.
  22. Yea cause everyone knows its better to play down to the level of your opponents to guarantee your spot in the SB. I'd rather our team play to a high standard irregardless of what team they are facing. No need to run up the scores on lesser teams, ie Texans, but I'd rather they dominate than just go thru the motions and just barely hang on for the win. Easier to maintain good play against everyone then to up your game against better competition. Also any player in the league could have a great game to change the expected outcome. Playing as if the opponent is better than they are won't catch them napping and getting upset by inferior play.
  23. Nah, these guys all work for the nfl and each team is just a different office. The players have buddies across the league. Guys they played with in college don't suddenly become enemies. Just like Allen trains with palmer alongside darnold and some other qbs. The players that put in extra work to get better are gonna be welcoming like minded fellow players unless that player is just a total jerk to other people. Players may not stay with the same teams throughout their careers so it helps to network with fellow employees. Gives them more first hand info on other teams to have when they are making business decisions when they are free agents.
  24. Well, I guess the bills these days would beat up on Alabama easily.
  25. Also can upgrade via FA, I'd expect top FA have buffalo high on their list of where they'd sign if they are after a ring above anything. That's the reason why I'm glad beane has a quality staff of talent evaluators. They get the right players with the right mindsets to fit right in. Not all pan out but they seem to move on from players at right time as well as stick with those that just needed a lil more time to develop as in Knox. Dunno if Cody Ford will get better but I do trust the coaches to know whether he needs to be replaced once they feel he's reached his ceiling and how it measures up to what they need at his position.
