  1. He only stated that black qbs had to do more to be deemed the starting qbs. That's been the case since the nfls founding days I'd imagine. Lot of great history the USA has unfortunately there's alot of history that's very sorid and ugly. To be frank that's the common thread throughout humanities existence and unlikely to change now.
  2. And yet there are Bills fans that call tyrod a loser technically true of each member of the teams in the drought era. That would include a bills fan favorite Ryan Fitzpatrick. Seems with a very similar record during his tenure with the bills he's regarded as a smart competitor whod be a winner if only his athleticism matched his intelligence and he just couldn't make the throws but he could clearly read what the defense was doing. He at least tried to win games and didn't hesitate to pull the trigger and the inevitable int. Not his fault the defense intercepted him. Whereas Tyrod is vilified as a gutless loser because he didn't wish to risk to's. That seems like a smart way to play. Both are stopgap talents neither capable of pulling out a win on their talents alone consistently yet Fitzpatrick is given a pass more readily, because he's not as gifted an athlete or is there some racial bias mixed in there whether its intentional or not it seems plausible there is some element of ŕacial bias. Tyrod the perceived loser has a SB ring earned when he was Flacco backup. And he was part of the bills drought breaking season. No not the catalyst but his efforts were part of that teams success. To dismiss his part in winning is just as wrong as dismissing Fitzpatrick penchant for the game ending ints as a reason the bills didn't end the drought under his watch. I wish both success elsewhere with the caveat as long as its in the bills interests. Otherwise let them come up short.
  3. I thought the senca casino had a sports betting section and as its technically not under NY jurisdiction as its a sovereign nation with its own laws and rules, any NY laws don't apply unless they have some reciprocal agreement with the state.
  4. Somehow I get the impression that had Tyrod spoken up about the correct pronunciation upon arriving to Buffalo and becoming the starter you'd be calling him a prima donna and he'd need to prove he was worthy as the bills qb before you'd consider giving him the courtesy of pronouncing his name correctly. Now I sincerely do not think you could truly be so callous though that is possible. I only hope if you are and you have every right to be based on your life experiences. I however would hope your a Bills fan from outside the Buffalo area because as a Buffalo native I have high expectations of my fellow Buffalonians -- we are the city of good neighbors after all. Nothing wrong with Tyrod requesting his name be pronounced correctly. And I don't say that cause I've suddenly have become Woke! I have a difficult Polish surname and I served in the Air Force 6 years late 70's early 80's. Long story short an airman named Garza thought it was funny to mess up my surname instead of using my nickname as I understood my name was not easy to learn to pronounce. Well 2 days of calling him gumbo, gomez, gorilla, a few other less pc g words and he actually put the effort into pronouncing my surname properly. I wouldn't be surprised if he could say it correctly now 40 years later. I'm just surprised that his name pronunciation correction didn't occur under Sean's early tenure because I do think every guy on today's roster would certainly use whatever pronunciation he wished to be used. That or there would be an agreed upon nickname to be used.
  5. You gotta wonder too if the teams they were drafted to have a culture that is more susceptible to rookies trying way too hard to prove themselves so they overwork muscles thereby leaving them more prone to injury. Seems from the outside, to me, that the Bills culture and process is more inclusive to rookies with veterans that freely impart practical tips on keeping your body fit for the long NFL season. Case in point Singletary as a rookie had Frank Gore to learn from and Shady too briefly in training camp till he got cut. . All these rookies drafted are partially realizing their childhood dreams of playing in the NFL, many will fail, but even amongst the failures to get on a 53 as rookies, many of them will put in alot of extra effort some will open themselves to injury as a result. Seems to me the Bills welcome the rookies and only demand they put in honest effort and to be coached up on how the Bills play and learn their roles. The vets give a discernible edge to our rookies to learn and develop at a safer pace as well as imparting a successful blueprint on staying longer in the not for long league. Least that's what I get from the bills keeping vets to the chagrin of some fans that are wanna be gms.
  6. I wonder how much of the mechanical issues are due to individuals via their driving habits, how well they do routine maintenance on their vehicles and the driving conditions they deal with causing stress on their autos. All these are valid as to having some effect on the mechanical wear and tear their vehicle goes thru.
  7. I tried to start this as a new post but it wouldn't select stadium wall as the forum to post in. Dunno if its a glitch ... I was just thinking I'd love one of the reporters to ask E Sanders if he orders Buffalo Blue Cheese with his wings now that he got to taste the good stuff. Just curious if his video where he acknowledged he was wrong once he tasted it locally or if he still goes with what he ate them with before. It really doesn't matter to me as I don't care for either Ranch nor Blue Cheese and to be honest I don't even order wings very often and if I do they are always BBQ and I don't dip them in anything else. Just curious if he was asked out of the blue a follow up on his previous stance before he tried the Buffalo version to see how he'd answer that.
  8. I took that to mean that in his opinion he believes that the stats Josh has put up thus far are just a fraction of what he's capable of. And its a bit of a nod to recognizing that now that Josh has a team that's built to take advantage of his arm talent that he expects that the stats haven't reached Josh's ceiling. Maybe I'm just reading what I believe in his statement, but thats how I'm taking his comment.
  9. The current rules of ps eligibility have been relaxed a bit can have several vets now.
  10. Well thats interesting but what you'd does not mean it is what Mitch will do. This 1 year deal lets both sides get to test the fit and then they both have a better idea what value would be for another year. Both sides respect the process both win with no pressure other than give us your best effort we do the same.
  11. Also agree that MT may choose to stay as backup to Ja17 and try snag a second SB ring. Gotta remember MT has already been a starting Qb in the league. He's been in was it 2 different systems in Chicago. Seems like the Bears do not value offense enough to succeed in today's NFL. So we can safely say he knows what a badly run organization looks like and he gets to see a well run team and let's be real which is more likely. MT lived in a Chicago suburb and his adjoining neighbors did not know who he was. Or living in whichever home or apt he's renting he and his family are greeted with 'Go bills!' And wait for it ...... to the point that Mitch and his family wanna Shout! HEYA the Bills wanna make them shout! So there you have it Mitch Tribisky could stay to win his second SB ring knowing he can pick his opportunity cause I know this is a winning era and I think MT as well as the vets we are attracting know it too. Gotta recognize that sometimes for some people the cultural fit trumps other considerations.
  12. I agree Buffalo is the Queen City after all so thats a good fit too. However Queen's catalog is 20 years worth of quality music performed by arguably the greatest stadium showman in music history. I'm biased here but Josh Allen is arguably the greatest stadium showman in Bills NFL history. See the pattern? I'd actually think you could do a weekly game highlights video using a different Queen song as the music and it likely be easy to find 20 songs that would fit every week without repetition. Could save We Are the Champions following a SB win. In deference to the process I'd choose something like One Vision for the week 1 highlights. I would however try to edit the ending of the song from gimme fried chicken to gimme chicken wings to make it more Buffalo. Queen was a group of 4 highly talented musicians that together made a fantastic musical team. The Bills have 4 talented units - offense, defense, special teams, and coaching staff. Those are just some of the reasons I'd go with Queen. Of course I'm a big Queen fan so I would likely recognize the lyric reference each week easily.
