  1. I think the Titans should definitely be in that group, maybe even as high as #3. They whooped us last season and now have an elite receiver in Julio Jones to pair with AJ Brown. They also got a lot better on defense both in free agency and the draft.
  2. Hoping the Bills will release alternate Zubazz uniforms. They'll be ugly as hell, but the wavy pattern will disorient our opponents
  3. Aaron Donald or Derrick Henry. They're each the best at their position and coming off stellar seasons.
  4. That's a shame. He already had an uphill battle to make the final roster. If this takes him out for training camp, they should just release him early to give him a chance to stick somewhere else.
  5. I think Stafford is going to light it up with the Rams this year. The Lions are a terrible organization that never seems to be able to put together a complete roster and besides Calvin Johnson (who he only had for half of his career) Stafford hasn't had elite weapons. On the other end of the trade, I think Goff will have a terrible season, showing just how good of an offensive coordinator McVay really is.
  6. Sometimes a player just needs a change of scenery and more time to develop. It's pretty rare for a guy to have a breakout season in his 7th season. He came into the league as a quarterback and TE is a position that requires more development time in the NFL even for a guy who played the position in high school and college. With no developmental league (RIP NFL Europe) few teams have the patience to keep a guy on the roster for that long before they become an effective starter. I think his story is more of a fluke than a sign of failure by our front office. Another similar case I can think of is Lorenzo Alexander breaking out with a double-digit sack season in his 11th season in the league (the average NFL career is 2.5 years). The NFL is a win-now league and practice squad players can be poached by other teams, so developmental players are no longer worth the investment considering they will be a free agent after 4 seasons.
  7. Lee Evans. The guy could get open deep with the cb trailing him by 10 yards. Losman hit him a lot on deep routes, but he could have been the best receiver in the league if he had a top 10 quarterback.
  8. Dane Jackson He looked good in limited action last season and I think he has a legitimate chance to win the #2 spot with a solid preseason. Harrison Phillips He didn't look 100% last year after coming back from an ACL tear, but he improved as the year went on. I think he can split reps with Star and solidify our run defense. Isaiah McKenzie He has mainly been a gadget player for the Bills, but his performance against the Dolphins shows that he can contribute as a receiver. Unfortunately he got injured shortly after and was limited throughout the playoffs. He will battle rookie Marquez Stevenson and Isaiah Hodgins for a roster spot this summer, but I believe his familiarity with the offense will give him a major advantage and he will have a career year.
  9. I wouldn't call that "raving" but I think Epenesa was very close to breaking out at the end of last season. They started giving him a lot more snaps and he seemed to be one step away from getting to the qb on a number of occasions. I think giving every DE fewer snaps will keep them hungry and able to go 100% on every down.
  10. This has to be to sign a newly cut player (or a trade for Ertz) and not for a Josh Extension. This move raises Diggs' cap hit for '22 which is the year that Allen's 5th year option and/or new contract money would take effect. I believe we get one starter out of the June cuts and extend Diggs next season to continuously keep his big cap hits on the horizon.
  11. Betteridge's law of headlines is an adage that states: "Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no"
  12. Never heard of Lenoir, but the guy was extremely consistent as a starter in college 2014 75 catches 1030 yards 7 TDs 2015 83 catches 1184 yards 7 TDs 2016 76 catches 1093 yards 7 TDs
  13. I agree, I just mean they have a unique opportunity to grab some great players who are cut because of the cap situation. I do think they are on the rise though (assuming Lawrence isn't a bust)
  14. I think this announcement will kick off a new wave of extensions, restructures, and trades leaguewide. Then June 1st will come along and I guarantee there will be some shocking cuts across the league. I envy teams like the Jaguars (has that statement ever been made before?) that have a crazy amount of cap space to work with.
  15. Josh Allen would break every single season qb record with Andy Reid and that supporting cast
  16. Only guys I would have been willing to trade up for were Greg Newsome and Kwity Paye. I think all the Etienne talk was just a smokescreen.
  17. If we had picked Zay when our pick came up I wouldn't have been as bitter. When we traded up I was 90% sure Juju was the pick so I was pretty shocked at the time. It's the fact that we wasted draft capitol out of panic instead of waiting for the best available player. If we had Zay Jones head-and-shoulders above the other prospects on their board then Pegula clearly made the right call in firing everyone immediately after the draft. This was coming off their disastrous 2016 draft where Shaq Lawson was somehow the bright spot, no other starters were drafted, and 3 players were traded away before their rookie contracts were over. Having said that, it's incredibly refreshing to finally have a competent GM and staff that I trust to make good decisions and make wise gambles.
  18. It's always great when a player you were trying to trade up for just falls into your lap. Sometimes teams trade up out of paranoia and waste picks on a guy who would have been there anyway. I know the Bills tried to trade up for Ed Oliver but luckily didn't. Trading up for Zay Jones when JuJu Smith-Schuster, Alvin Kamara, Dalvin Cook, and Kenny Golladay would have been on the board with our original pick may have soured my opinion on trade ups.
  19. He's not the one forcing the team to trade him, they just need the cap room and draft picks to get their QB of the future. Usually they allow veterans to be in contact with teams and have some say as to where they'll end up. I'm not sure whether he has any kind of no-trade clause.
  20. I could see that happening, but Rodgers would need to sign an extension or restructure to get the cap room first. His cap hit is 37 Million this year and they only have 2 left to work with.
  21. He would be best off going to the Chargers. Young QB that is on his way to becoming Elite, great weather that helps the passing game, Keenan Allen will reduce the amount he is double-teamed, and they have 20 Million in cap room. I don't see why he would possibly want to go to NE. Rookie qb who wasn't a top-tier guy, run first offense, and it takes a long time to learn to play wide receiver in that offense from what I've heard.
  22. The GM refused to pay me illegally under the table for not working while not under contract, so I assaulted him. Hmmmm
