I don’t think he has what it takes to win the Super Bowl. He also has enough success to not be fired (thanks to Josh Allen mostly). Biggest indictment for me, is that his defenses perform poorly in the playoffs. That is supposed to be his entire thing, and they have performed poorly over multiple playoffs.

I kind of think the whole strategy of trying to run the entire clock down and score with no time remaining was a mistake. Just try to score a TD, and if you give KC 4 minutes left then at least you might get the ball back again. Doing silly stuff like running Cook for no gain really hurt us there.

If he isn’t nursing some secret injury please just move on from this guy.

This team went into the last 2 days of the season with missing the playoffs still a possibility. It didn't feel like a Super Bowl year. If anything they overachieved getting the #2 seed, a playoff win and taking the divisional to a photo finish.

I think if Douglas and Benford are healthy we probably win this game. Douglas was obviously hobbled out there, he had no speed. Dane Jackson got burned over and over. He also couldn't make a tackle in run support to save his life.

First Sherfield drop actually hit him square in the chest, lol. Reminded me of the Gabe Davis drop against he Jets last year after Allen partially tore his UCL.

I'm kind of hoping that we hear about some injury Diggs has been nursing since mid-season that he can recover from. Because otherwise he's cooked, and he has a huge cap hit that we can't get out of because it's already had salary converted to bonus to reduce cap a couple times.

Couldn't disagree with this take more strongly. Mahomes didn't get a first down twice at the end of the game (bailed out the first time by a penalty), when he could have essentially ended the game. Allen did at least the minimum of his job, which was get the Bills into FG position to extend the game and he did that just fine even with Brady wasting every first down with a Cook run for no gain.

I don't know what the third down play call was at the end, but they should have been calling the play like they were going to go for 4th down. Pick up 5-8 yards and put the game in the hands of Allen. Brady in general called a pretty poor game in the second half IMO.

He could have dropped the deep balls instead of Sherfield (although he does seem to inexplicably ball out against KC).

That last angle really makes it look like he fumbled, but it isn’t really conclusive unless the refs have the ability to sync the 2 angles and see them at the same time.

A charitable interpretation is he had a very minor concussion that they wouldn’t even pull you from the game in the old days, and they are being extremely overly cautious having him in the protocol in the first place. An uncharitable interpretation is he was rushed through the process to be able to play in a big game to the detriment of his long term health. Hard to know for sure from an outsider’s perspective.
