Pass protection was the story of this game. Texans were getting almost immediate pressure with 4 all game. Defense tightened up and had a decent game in the end (curiously when some of the starters left the game).
I don't think there was a way to know when Allen threw the ball. His defender hadn't gotten picked off yet when he committed to the throw. Didn't matter anyway because it was OPI.
At the end of the day 23 points isn't that bad considering we gifted the Texans 2 red zone possessions with turnovers. And one of the given up TD drives was after the kickoff return TD, so the defense got no rest.
Feels like that was very predictable based on the formation. Everybody knew it was a handoff there. Brady needs a little bit of indirection in his play calling. Make the defense guess at least a little bit.
