    Pass protection was the story of this game. Texans were getting almost immediate pressure with 4 all game. Defense tightened up and had a decent game in the end (curiously when some of the starters left the game).

    I don't think there was a way to know when Allen threw the ball. His defender hadn't gotten picked off yet when he committed to the throw. Didn't matter anyway because it was OPI.

    There have been 2 plays where if Shakir was faster or a little bit more savvy he would have scored.

    I mean once it's 3rd and 18 and the RT gets beat off the snap I guess you gotta try something...

    There was maybe somebody underneath, but would have been a 3 yard gain when we need more that that...

    I think the play clock was screwed up. It was way too fast. Burned that play for us.

    At the end of the day 23 points isn't that bad considering we gifted the Texans 2 red zone possessions with turnovers. And one of the given up TD drives was after the kickoff return TD, so the defense got no rest.

    Pretty clear Cook's ankle is bugging him. He has way less burst than usual.

    If they would have taken the points on that last 4th down they would only be down one FG after this one. Maybe we should have taken the points.

    I don't get why he's still out there. We have backups for a reason (like when a player can't use their right arm).

    Shakir could have scored if he followed the Davis block.

    Dude, just pull Spencer Brown. He's clearly playing injured. Van Demark (sp?) can't be worse.

    Feels like that was very predictable based on the formation. Everybody knew it was a handoff there. Brady needs a little bit of indirection in his play calling. Make the defense guess at least a little bit.

    Our underneath passes gain < 4 yards, so I get why Allen is hesitant to take them.

    I just meant credit to the defense for the 3rd quarter, not the whole game. They stunk out loud in the first half.

    It's actually kind of amazing that it is still a 7 point game. We're getting out butts kicked.

    Credit to the defense, basically gave up 0 points in the 3rd quarter (3 points, but on a short field from a turnover).

    Only silver lining here is that I feel like Mills could turn it over at any point.
