I remember a story from last year that made the national news about Bills mafia pushing a little girl over who was a fan of an opposing team. Pretty sure it was on good morning America. The parents had to go home it was so traumatizing! Of course a few days later after the news cycle turns over the truth is revealed that she was lightly nudged to an adjacent seat from an unshoveled snow covered aisle while an impatient crowd was walking by. Something that happens 100 times every game. It’s always best to wait a couple days and see about the veracity of these stories.

Well, we know from this game that if a team pukes all over themselves, the Pats can hold on to win at home. I don't think any more insights can be gleaned from this one.

Without the special teams blunders this could basically be a 3 point game right now. Giants special teams lost them this game.

So much has gone wrong for the Giants, I’m not really sure you can read much from this game. - Punt return TD - Kick into the dirt, would have made it a one score game - Punt return fumble with a player KO’d on his feet - Personal foul on o-lineman standing up for his QB killing a drive Just a bunch of weird stuff, all going the Pats way. Even a team with average coaching/discipline won’t have this stuff happen.

I mean, it was definitely close.

Not that it matters, but I’m not totally sure that was a catch. Depends on if you think he had possession when his first foot was down. Otherwise his knee hit before 2 feet were down.

My bad, you are correct. Every aspect of the formula is divided by attempts. Not sure why I thought otherwise.

Passer rating is still a mixture of an efficiency and volume stat though. We have the least passing attempts against in the league, I feel like we need to look at a pure efficiency stat to get a better idea.

I’m not sure if it’s a real stat, but I’d be interested in something like success rate per pass attempt or something like that. Teams have so much success running against us, that any volume stats for passing (yards, TDs, passer rating to a degree) won’t tell the full story.

Here is a good replay where Heyward gets mad the first time. I’m seeing absolutely nothing here. I think he either got hit in the nuts accidentally and thought it was Allen, or he manufactured it out of thin air because he’s a big fat baby.

Pittsburgh read that all the way on that first drive and it could have easily been a pick. Seems like they knew the exact play was coming from film study. Time to retire that play and maybe create a new version of it.

Defenses always seem to play worse at the end of regulation and OT. I think they get gassed.

Ravens got away from the running game after Henry was gashing them and got a long TD in the first quarter. I'm not sure he even got a carry in the 2nd quarter. Somehow (and this is baffling to me), the Bengals have a worse running defense than we do. Run the ball.
