I think hiring head coaches has so much weirdness and luck involved, I’m not going to be too critical unless a team hires a known bad coach (like Josh McDaniels). This guy had the benefit of the locker room being bought in and overachieving, so that is something. Really doesn’t matter who the HC is if they don’t get a QB.

Except for the Vikings game last year, but I blame Gabe Davis.

Love went into desperation mode way too soon. He had a lot of time and timeouts left. Should have kept picking up 10-15 yard chunks. Allen is guilty of that sometimes too.

The heavens opened up. It’s like divine intervention for the 49ers.

They probably thought the 49ers offense would perform like the regular season and they would need to keep pace.

I think no timeout is fine. Now they have all 3 timeouts to at least get in FG range.

This could be a pretty epic ending here.

Maybe I'm a hater, but I didn't find the Ravens that impressive. Their defense was very good, and the offense wasn't very explosive, but played mistake-free football (which was made easier by never feeling pressure by the other offense scoring points). If a team can put up some points on them early (Bills or Chiefs will IMO), then the offense will be forced to push the ball downfield more and I think they will be exposed.

When 2 teams got it, then it was a little bit more fair, 1/3 of teams got a bye. Now it’s a single team and feels like a huge advantage.

He took a lot of hits this game too. Was kind of surprised.

Ravens are going to get blown out next week IMO. Whether they play the Bills or the Chiefs, they won’t have the luxury of playing from ahead the entire game.

#6 took a terrible angle on that. Should have been a gain of 5 or 6 yards.

Ravens LT jumped early the same as they’ve been calling the Texans there.

Reminds me a lot of games Allen has had, but Stroud doesn’t have that create something out do nothing ability.

With the lead and their defense playing well, I doubt they even give Lamar the chance. It will be runs and safe throws down the field.
