11/20/2025 Bills @ Texans 1st half game thread
DapperCam replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shakir was going to be way short anyway. Would have made the FG easier. Texans might be too good to just run on first down every time. It's putting us behind the sticks. -

Are we gonna find out Allen played this game with a broken left hand? Return of the MVP glove? -

Is it possible he smashed his funny bone? Something goofy happened with the left hand/arm. -

Josh just run and slide dude. Hopefully he isn't hurt and that hit convinces him hanging around in no-man's land isn't smart. -

I think that was a last second abort/throw away on 2nd down. Saw the safety, threw it at his feet. -

We better not lose to a team that needed a last minute FG to beat the lowly Titans. -

Pretty sure that was Mayock. Gruden was too busy sending inappropriate emails. -
11/20/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Texans TNF Gameday Thread
DapperCam replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Division record, then common games, then conference record. So we’re kind of screwed for division record because we lost to Miami. The Pats still have a game against Miami and NYJ, so it could look different if they drop one of those. -

Bills need to win the head-to-head against the Pats, and then win one more game in the remaining games. If the Bills win this week and the Pats lose then the Bills go back to controlling their own destiny for the division. I doubt it with Chase being out and the Bengals defense, but any given Sunday... -
Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the league, so that makes sense.
-
Not to mention season ticket holders who paid to watch the best roster possible.

Dawkins is a pro bowl veteran and the best player on possibly the best offensive line in the league. A couple Offside penalties do not negate that, or the respect he commands within the locker room. He’s also like the most positive guy out there, so if he’s saying you need to get your act together, then probably Coleman should listen.
-
OBJ basically was Justin Jefferson for the first 4 seasons of his career, and recently helped the Rams win the Super Bowl. He’s done a lot more than “one play”. With all that said, I’d give him a tryout (why not), but I have to imagine he’s cooked at this point.

It was a bad game for Allen, but importantly he didn’t turn it over, which gave the Bills the chance to win at the end of the game. I would argue Stroud had just as bad of a game with his turnovers.

Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things, and why we need it
DapperCam replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
I never know whether to trust Allen in the postgame, because he will blame himself for everything. The WR would drop a perfectly thrown ball and Allen would say “I need to throw that better.” It’s the sign of a leader, but I’ve never heard him say an ill word about a teammate when talking about a specific play. For all we know Edwards totally screwed it up, Allen would never say. -

Tom Brady had elite defenses and won many playoff games with totally subpar stat lines, including his last SB in NE. Some of those wins he had a similar stat line to Allen's terrible playoff game vs Cincy. We don't have an elite defense this season, and I doubt we'll have one soon. Best bet is to stack points and get teams out of their offensive game plan (which would probably be to run it all over our soft defense). -

I would argue the first int had nothing to do with the game plan or opening it up really. It was the 2nd or 3rd play of the game due to an unblocked rusher. I would say only one INT was due to opening things up, and it was on 4th down anyway.
