  1. If Miami could do literally anything on offense then this game wouldn't be over.
  2. At least with the blitzes maybe they will get some hits on Mahomes
  3. I'm so confused by the below the knees roughing the passer, because I see QBs hit low like that frequently without a call.
  4. Pretty clear hold to spring him there, not that it matters
  5. That Blitz beater throw by Mahomes was great. We need that in our offense with Allen.
  6. He quit running and looked for the call on a minor hook while the ball was still in the air, lol. You have to at least try to make the play my guy. The ball ended up landing super far away from him because he quit on the play.
  7. At least keep the defense guessing if you must pass
  8. Tua is a fraud. Throwing underthrown rainbows to Hill is not impressive.
  9. It would have been way more incomplete, he underthrew him, lol.
  10. So we thinking we want Houston after that performance they just put on? Or the Chefs? I say bring on the rookie QB, so go Dolphins.
  11. I watched the Sabres game instead. This one didn’t look that much more entertaining.
  12. I think JJ Watt may have taken one too many hits to the head.
  13. This helps the Bills immensely. One more day for Douglas to rest up. The passing game should be better on Monday. It’s a federal holiday, a lot of people who work have off (I know not everybody…)
  14. He might get a little bit more slack with the Pats org, and the fans might be more patient with him because he’s a fan favorite. It’s like hiring a friend at work. You might give them a little bit more leeway on performance before consider firing them vs some random person. 3rd overall pick positions them nicely to get the QB they want, or even move up to the Bears spot to guarantee it.
  15. I think it was lack of awareness. I don’t think Johnson realized it was the last play of the half. If he had a do-over he’s probably diving with the ball stretched out.
  16. How did Mac Jones and the Patriots have the lead the entire game? Was it because of Josh Allen? Or was it because the defense allowed twice the average points to a bottom-3 offense in the league? Including an incredibly unclutch 2 minute TD drill to a terrible QB that lost his job a few weeks later. Pats defense season avg: 21.5 points allowed Bills offense that day: 25 points scored Pats offense season avg: 13.9 points scored Bills defense that day: 29 points allowed So one unit won their matchup including a clutch end of game drive, and the other unit epically failed including an unclutch end of game drive given up. I will give you that the Bills offense did give the Pats a short field starting at the 45 yard line, but they still way underperformed even including that fact.
  17. But at halftime you can’t know that the Bills defense would turn into the 85 Bears. Miami had 2 great drives, and it is just as likely we need those extra points to keep up in the 2nd half. That throw scores a TD more often than not. McDermott would win every game 12-9 if he could.
  18. I actually feel like the throw is a fine decision. FGs aren’t going to win a Super Bowl. If you can make a throw that will give a 75% chance of a TD, you do it and hope your guy makes a play. Maybe if Johnson runs his route a little deeper it’s a TD. Maybe if he had a little bit more wiggle he gets in. Maybe if he realizes it’s the last play of the half he risks a fumble and stretches the ball way out.
