The amount of defensive holding in the end zone is crazy. They basically don't call it until you are in the red zone.

Backup QB and no kicker. Probably at least get a FG this past drive if their starting K wasn’t out.

Their kicker is hurt. Another break going KC’s way. Not sure what happened there, but Scary Terry stopped his route and Mariota thought he would continue.

So many wide open WRs around the league. Idk if it’s scheme or blown coverages, or both.

He’s short for sure when his foot touches out. Way too close though. Washington could have stopped him much shorter.

Teams can’t help but beat themselves against KC.

Doubt it will be close enough for people to whine about the refs. Maybe the first 20 minutes or so before they are up by 2 scores and never look back.

Almost all of our games vs KC are close. I don't expect this one to be any different. KC looks a lot more mortal this season. Defense isn't as stout in past seasons, and Mahomes has gone on a heater, but still has looked uncharacteristic for large stretches.

After he messed up game management decisions multiple playoffs in a row he said he wanted to have a "real" DC and become more of a CEO head coach that just manages. IMO he should always be calling the defensive plays, it's obviously his competitive advantage. Reid continues to call the offensive plays in KC.

I think we split with the Pats and still win the division. I think the offense has sort of been figured out. If a team can stop the run and has decent corners they can give us a really hard time. The defense really lacks talent all over, and a lot of our talented players have seemingly regressed (Benford, Taron Johnson, Bernard). Hard to see us winning a Super Bowl like that unless Allen and Cook go Super Saiyan (it's possible). I'll feel better about the offense if we can somehow trade for a good boundary WR, but the defense is still going to be a problem and, like playoffs past, will be our undoing.

In an alternate scenario (like we're further back on the field), he likely eats the sack immediately or throws it away. I cannot remember an instance where an Allen sack took us out of FG range. I'm sure it has happened, but I can't remember any specific instances in the last 5 seasons.

I don't think he's any slower, just less decisive. I think coaches have drilled into his head don't scramble and take hits. As a result he takes off one second later which is all it takes for the gap to close.

It was a bad decision because it made the FG a little bit harder, but it didn't matter because we still made the FG. So that sack vs a throw away made zero impact on the game. Allen probably would have escaped if that guy didn't get a piece of his jersey while diving. It happens...

Sure, but the point was Allen is only targeting receivers he trusts. So it would make sense to only count targets actually passed by Allen and not Trubisky.

I think Coleman only had one target and one catch with Allen. The rest were with Trubs. Moore I think only had 2 targets with Allen.
