AP All-Pro Teams Announced. Josh 2nd Team Only Bill.
DapperCam replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like one guy called him a running back (Bill Polian) and everybody gasped at the time and told him that wasn’t cool. Feels like we can let that go by now after 3 MVPs -
He can join Dan Marino as first ballot HOF QBs with zero playoff success.

Vegas has literally never had the wrong odds at the end of the season. The voters went off script.

AP All-Pro Teams Announced. Josh 2nd Team Only Bill.
DapperCam replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Teams with more All Pros than the Bills: - Cincy (2) - Pittsburgh (3) - Denver (5) - Indy (2) -Jacksonville (2) - KC (4) - Baltimore (6) - New England (2) - Dallas (3) - Detroit (6) - Minnesota (3) - Philly (6) - San Fran (3) - Washington (4) And the Bills are arguably a top 3 team in the league in terms of results. Combined with the lack of Pro Bowl accolades, either: - The roster is very underrated and some guys are getting snubbed. - Allen should be the run away MVP winner with such a weak supporting cast. - Sean McDermott should be coach of the year for dragging these bums to the #2 seed, beating both #1 seeds in the process. -
My comment was in response to a comment about the HOF. So cumulative stats would be more relevant there.

Fine mister pedantic. Leading or near leading…Allen leads the league in TDs since 2020 and it’s not particularly close.
-
If he continues to lead the league in TDs every year and has a long career he’ll get in without the awards. Brees still gets in, even without his Super Bowl. But at that point you’d have to ask yourself…why won’t anybody give Allen some awards?

The Bills have the #2 scoring offense in the league and only 2 players on offense even got any votes. Dawkins and Brown could have been 2nd team all pro in their positions for sure. Meanwhile Baltimore had 7 players on offense receive votes and Detroit had 5 players on offense receive votes. -
How is that possible when Allen has sat for the entire final game? He additionally sat for multiple quarters throughout the season. We also had many games where Allen was in but just handing it off. Allen had like 3 pass attempts in the second half of the Jaguars game.

A QB that wasn’t first team All Pro has only won MVP twice: Steve McNair (co-MVP so weird circumstance), and Elway (Rice and Montana split the vote, so another weird circumstance). This would be kind of unprecedented, but the new ranked choice MVP voting system might make it more common moving forward.

The defense is just as good though. As long as Wilson doesn’t turn the ball over like he did in the 2nd matchup it will be a one score game. Like 24-18 final score or something like that. These AFC North matchups are almost always like that unless one of the teams is terrible.
-
The Bills locking up the division so early and having seeding 90% locked in since then really hurt Allen. We’ve had like 5 games worth of snaps where the Bills are in run the clock out mode, or barely anything to play for. Imagine if we really needed these last 3 games. You could add 6-8 TDs to Allen’s totals and probably 400-500 yards. On the other side, you have Lamar throwing 10 passes in a drive up 3 scores vs the hapless Giants to pad his stats.

Steelers won the first matchup vs the Ravens, and the 2nd matchup had a pick 6, Wilson fumbling at the 5 yard line, and the Ravens fumbling 3 times and recovering all of them. I bet it’s a close game. Ravens might benefit from turnovers again like they did in the second matchup (14+ point swing), but I doubt it.
-
Wow, Lamar might actually have more MVPs than playoff wins. I kind of think the media hates Buffalo.
-
Both these QBs played pretty poorly. Or maybe the defenses played really well.
-
If there were no defenders around, that ball was going to fall short of that guys feet. His momentum was carrying him away from the ball because it was so underthrown. I don’t think the DB even made much contact with him, they were both falling in the same direction. Just looked like interference in real time.
-
Pretty good game!
-
When you underthrow the ball by 3 yards lofted into quadruple coverage, DPI shouldn’t be able to be called. It’s a jump ball at that point like a Hail Mary.

With the 32nd pick, we’ll probably have to add a a lot

This Abdul Carter guy is a game wrecker. Hope he goes to the NFC.

I'll take blizzards over fires. The air quality has to just be awful from the videos I've seen.

I don’t know why, but the players LOVE Lamar. He is way more popular amongst his peers than Allen is. Maybe he’s just a friendlier guy, idk. Anything that the players vote on he’s near the top or at the top even when he has down seasons.

NFLPA All-Pro, not AP All-Pro (which is the real one). NFLPA all pro is like the kids in school voting for class president. It’s just going to go to who is most well liked and popular.

Bills path to victory: - Win turnover battle (or neutral) - Make Broncos settle for FGs If we can do that it’s bye bye Broncos.

Harbaugh: “Flowers injury not season ending”
DapperCam replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think there should be hope. Steelers won the first match up, and the second match up was a one score game in the 4th quarter before the Ravens pulled away due to a pick 6 (closer than the score indicates). Actually the Ravens had crazy turnover luck that probably won't be replicated. The Ravens fumbled 3 times and recovered all of them (and they weren't just bad handoffs where somebody landed on them, they were bouncing around). And Russell Wilson fumbled at the 5 yard line for a go ahead TD in the second quarter, and the Ravens got that pick 6. So there was a 14 point swing due to turnovers (and probably more with the Ravens recovering all their fumbles). This will likely be a one score slugfest.
