Special teams killed us there. Gave the Dolphins a short field when they really needed a score.

Draft projection for him was a 1st round pick. He was fast, big and strong. Appeared to be good in man coverage in college. Ended up being an “all tools, but no toolbox” type player. It happens… Someone like Benford has much less in terms of tools, which is why he dropped so much even if he’s a much better football player.

Quick timing passing is the only thing Tua can do at an NFL level. He throws to a spot where a pass catcher will be. If he can’t execute that scheme their explosive offense is done.

Dolphins fans, players and coaches just sound so down right now. If the Bills get up 2 scores early like vs the Jets I think they will mentally quit. I would be aggressive if I were Brady/McDermott in the first quarter.

I think we could lose to Pats, Falcons or Bucs. I think we win all those games, but we could drop one.

I think a lot of our play calling is the way it is right now to protect our defense and keep them off the field. It works against a team like the Jets, but needing 3 downs to get a first down isn’t really a great strategy to move down the field. Plenty of drives have stalled already to due being extremely conservative and it would have cost us the Ravens game if not for Allen’s heroics. I wish we had a better rhythm on intermediate passes (10-15 yards). It feels like we have the talent to consistently complete those passes and improve our efficiency. I remember McDermott saying things about “scoring too quickly” when Daboll was the OC, so I have no doubt it is partially coming from the HC.

Dolphins could be like a cornered animal. Might be dangerous out of desperation (but mostly just dangerous for Tua if he tries to do too much).

They need to win 4 more games than the Chargers in the remaining schedule to win the division if they lose their next Chargers matchup. It would make it very likely the Chargers win the division in that scenario. Obviously the Chiefs could still get in as a wild card.
