  1. This guy having pepper spray and a knife probably saved Sanchez from catching a murder charge. Fortunate for him in a way.
  2. It’s looking like 11-6 might be the cutoff this year for a wild card. 10-7 might get in, but you will likely be subject to tie breakers. 9-8 likely won’t get in. If Ravens lose to the Rams next week they will need to go 9-2 to even have a chance (then their only path will be beating the Steelers twice and hoping for the division). If the Chiefs lose to the Lions next week, they will need to go 8-3 the rest of the way to have a chance (or have to rely on the division). Bills can go 6-6 and possibly make it. 7-5 would probably be a sure thing to make it.
  3. Brady can take the page in the playbook with the fades to Coleman and rip it right out. Coleman needs to be slants, comeback routes and scramble drill. Stop throwing him jump passes while he’s blanketed. 1. He’s not that good at them 2. Allen isn’t very good at throwing them Unless they are doing a bizarre “practice a play during a live game” thing, I just don’t understand it.
  4. Bills have the 2nd best record over the past 5 seasons. This ref crew is an outlier. Maybe McDermott embarrassed him in a bicep curl contest.
  5. I don’t think the Cowboys will be good enough to be a top seed in the NFC. His ceiling is 2023 Dak, who got some MVP votes, but wasn’t ever really a legit candidate. Goff could get it IMO. Lions have a good shot at the #1 seed, and his counting stats will likely be near the top of the league.
  6. I think as of right now Allen is tied for the lead in total TDs with Goff and just behind Stafford in total yardage. He does have 3 turnovers in 5 games, which is on pace for like 10 or so. Which isn’t terrible, but not great either (Geno already has 9 INTs, lol). All of the QBs with a lot of volume have similar turnovers right now. If the criteria is “best QB that is the #1 or #2 seed in the conference”, then I’d say Allen is a pretty good bet. Goff has a chance as well, but he’s hurt by the supporting cast argument. I’m pretty sure Daniel Jones will turn back into a pumpkin (even if the Colts keep winning).
  7. Is anybody afraid of Daniel Jones or TLaw in the playoffs? Let the Chiefs, Ravens, Bengals and Chargers stack up as many Ls as possible.
  8. Even in this game in a loss, the Chiefs had so much voodoo. A fumble at the one inch line where it was so close they would have just kept whatever the call on the field was? An OPI where they pick the flag up because Mahomes yells at the ref? An interception where the WR gets picked off like a basketball play leading to 7? It isn’t all coaching. It’s some voodoo.
  9. They got gifted 7 points on the worst missed DPI since the Saints-Rams NFCCG
  10. Kelce is probably around the 15th best TE. He’s on pace for like 900 yards, and can still get first downs. Brown, Worthy and Juju are okay when they are on the field. I’d say without Rice they are bottom third, but not worst. With Rice they are probably middle of the league. Titans, Panthers, Browns, Giants without Nabers, even Bills are right there with them at the bottom.
  11. Pretty clear the refs knew they screwed up and are in full make up call mode (as they should be, they gifted KC 7 points)
  12. Chiefs fans will point to that to say the reffing is fair. But it’s a false equivalence because that was actually a penalty and the missed DPI was 100% wrong.
  13. Can’t mess around with that, just need to score. Also, that is not legal, lol
  14. I’m glad I only watched the first quarter and then the last 5 minutes. Otherwise watching this same script play out would be 100 times more annoying. KC basically got an 18 point swing by from the refs on close calls (or not so close calls on the DPI).
  15. I don’t know what is or is not OPI, because the KC WRs just square up and start blocking while the ball is still in the air.
  16. Rules analyst didn’t have golden boy screaming in his ear.
  17. This thread should be in the dictionary next to the definition of “Monday Morning Quarterback”. Allen played a “good” not “great” game. He had a 100+ passer rating, 300 yards, 2 TDs and 1 turnover (I attribute the fumble to Knox). If you are watching the game, you are seeing that nobody is getting open. Allen is floating around buying time and still throwing to blanketed guys. That is a “good” game from a QB. Our team can only win if our QB has a “great” game. 16 QBs had a worse passer rating than Allen this week, and 9 of them won their games. Our team only wins if Allen carries them. Otherwise they lose. In general nobody (other than Cook sometimes) is making a big play in crunch time on either side of the ball (credit to Oliver vs the Ravens, but it is rare). Other teams have QBs like Bo Nix playing terribly and still winning games against good teams on the road. It’s been this way for like 3 seasons at least.
  18. There aren't 64 good boundary CBs in the entire league, let alone 32 more for good backups. It's a position with scarcity of quality players. White is probably one of the 96 best CBs out there right now. He makes a good play half the time, and gets burned the other half of the time.
  19. I would say Allen cost the Bills 3 points, I don't think you can say he gave the Pats 7 points. The defense still had to do its part to let the Pats have a 90 yard TD drive after his pick.
