Josh is a good person. A great talent. The best player on that field last night. Only 3 QBs could throw into the West 40 mph and bounce off hands. Give him OL and run help. Once Coach unleashed him…not perfect but he ran out of time. 19 days. 19 days. 19 days. My god, that could get horribly ugly.

Felt like we built last year to beat KC style or Mahomey specifically. They didn’t plan for NE run blast.

I said yesterday late day, “something is fishy re: MCKENZIE” and “Josh has 100+ yds rush” McKenzie ground would have been useful in that game. Josh barely allowed to run. This game is all coach fault.

There are only 3 QBs that could even attempt to sling 20 yds deep into the WEST end of that 40 mph tornado pit. We have one.

Josh is the offensive competitive advantage, period. Daboll sidelined our core advantage for the entire 1H. (Let’s just run, our competitive weakness, because that’s what BILL would do.)

Daboll waited too long to let Josh loose air and land like last year. That’s the storyline. 1H we played like a heavy run team. Ah…We ain’t. D played “okay” and better after they figured the block scheme.

The other guy was 2/3. josh was the best player on that field tonight. No, not perfect but he really did a fine job.

Nobody should be criticizing josh. Seriously. The other guy was 2/3 for 19 yds. Daboll 100% wasted the 1H for Josh. Some of the drops were wind understandable too.

I want to know where McKenzie is. We aren’t getting the whole story there. Something is fishy.

You can’t build your entire team around 40 mph wind AND win in a modern Super Bowl. *No Super Bowl will be played in that weather, EVER! I love seeing the snow on national Tv too but get a grip on your hometown weather pride. This was a 100% coaching loss. They did not adapt to the situation fast enough in game. . But the team can’t be built around 40 mph winds either.

By the way, what *really* happened to McKenzie? A few QB runs and misdirection plates were ordered by me after reading the weather.

I call BS on this. Josh had to be very smart in that wind josh was MVP.

They figured it out too late….. let josh be josh stack box, run blitz. (we have it be problems but it took them too long to adapt)

Main advantage of K gun was a limited offensive formation (ala Thurman) then forces D to stay in compromised formation and tire out. I’m not convinced today’s game could have an offense do this reliably to win. Our team form could not. btw, I’ve always felt it was why we lost the super bowls. Kelly was smart but the other top tier coaches smarter.

Extra clothes and socks after the game. Even if it doesn’t rain, rain gear cover stops the wind. Be prepared to stand for 3 hrs+. May or may not based on tickets but the standing thing is annoying. In college or HS your wife can use a blanket, not so much here!!
