  1. I'd be shocked if Hollins doesnt come back. He wont cost a ton, and can take a 2 year deal here for stability with a team and org and city that embrace him completely. Guy is a dawg - need a few of those on the team. Also expect Ty Johnson to be re-signed. Same situation. Embraced by the team and org, came from the Jets where he felt lower than ever. A one year deal makes sense. Gilliam is a maybe - his usage ramped up in the playoffs which was interesting to see. Maybe they want to incorporate him more like how Ricard is used in Baltimore. Douglas is gone, and they will need to bring in a CB via draft or FA. Same with Hamlin - they have Rapp and Bishop already. Maybe they draft another mid/late round guy Von will be cut post June 1st, and they with either go via trade or FA to bring a name in. Josh Sweat? They would need to offer a lot, but the Eagles need to resign Zach Baun which wont be cheap (He will get a $10M+ raise)
  2. Probably 4th on my list of trade targets if we were going for a WR factoring in cost and cap hit 1) Jakobi Meyers (in a package deal for Max Crosby) 2) Jayden Reed 3) Waddle 4) Pickens 5) Christian Watson 6) Kupp
  3. No excuse for Kincaid to not make the catch, and he will tell you as much. It's not Dalton going "I had a torn PCL, so I couldn't adjust", it's Knox being a great teammate and defending his guy. They both know he missed a catchable ball. I'm sure the PCL impacted his mobility. He seemed less explosive through contact, he wasn't fighting as hard for yards as last year. Just sucks - the fanbase is going to crucify him (partly justifiable), and he is just playing through injuries working his butt off. It's life, but it sucks
  4. Same - 2 firsts for Crosby or Garrett is an EASY yes for me. You trading picks 30/32 for a #1 OVR talent. We have 2 seconds this year, you draft your WR/CB/DT. Love the Holland signing as well
  5. It's Beane's biggest move to make. Extend Allen, drop his cap hit, and use the money and the 10 picks you have this year to go get Crosby or Garrett. I think they hoped Oliver would continue to trend up to the level of a top DT, but he is levelling out at "Very good". Need another piece.
  6. Miller will be cut Allen extension to drop the cap hit Trubisky cut saves 2.5M They will have no issues not only making it under the cap, but also having money to spend - whether on resigning players or adding talent to the roster
  7. Maybe the dumbest thing I've seen you post Einstein. I know these losses hurt, but this is crazy. You are the guy in the BMW telling the homeless guy at the red light you would rather be in his position because your job is stressful. Honestly, there are 28 teams in the league that would kill to be in our position. KILL for it. Just because we lose to the best doesn't mean we dont get 18 weeks of highs to enjoy. Get outta here with this "Man, we are ONLY a great team, wahh" mentality.
  8. Day after thoughts: 1) Allen played a B game. Missed some throws early and felt the pressure. Lucky he didnt throw a pick that first drive. He also shifted the line to left instead of the right on that final offensive play. He will be upset about some things he missed for sure 2) McD was fine. Agreed with his challenge on the Worthy "catch" (probably my biggest gripe of the night was that stupid catch not being overturned). Timeouts when they made sense. Aggressive when it made sense. He cant control Benford getting a concussion. 3) The coordinators were less than stellar. Brady refused to commit to the run, likely because they went down 21-10 late in the second quarter. Allen gets them to 21-16, and even thought they ran it in the third, Brady relied on Allen in the 4th as the clock was running down. Babich went man heavy in the beginning, and gave too much cushion to receivers. And we were getting killed by mesh concepts all night. They ran pick plays and our defense STRUGGLED. Chiefs were prepared for the Bills to run man and they jumped out to that lead early because of it. Which leads me to... 4) Chiefs were prepared for us. Tush push - prepared. Man coverage - prepared. Allen rolling to his right - prepared. They are the best team of the decade for a reason. We are the Daniel Cormier to their Jon Jones. They have the greatest offensive mind in football, and the best DC in the league. Tough to beat great team who execute at all phases. They weren't perfect last night, but they were damn good. 5) This game was the Baltimore game, but we were the Ravens. Early hole, in the third we run the ball and it works, our defense does enough to give us a chance to win, and our TE drops an important catch. Unfortunate how this ugly world works sometimes. 6) Refs pissed me off. Missed calls on both sides, poor spotting (Kincaid made the first down even before the 4th down sneak). Missed call on the Worthy catch, and missed a CLEAR CLEAR CLEAR hold on Hollins on our first punt. I mean it was clear as day. Chiefs fans will say none of it would have mattered, and maybe it wouldn't. Unfortunately, we are in another Monday of the refs being a topic of discussion because they can't get themselves figured out. It's a shame - it's hurting the quality of this game. 7) The Bills FO better have one name on their board this offseason - Miles Garrett. Your new core didnt' step up last night, you need another piece on defense. Get the Saquan Barkley of the defensive side of the ball. If it costs you a Bernard or Rousseau after next year, so be it. Garrett is sitting there as the best DE in the game, at 29 years old, wanting to play for a Super Bowl. Trade the picks to make it happen, and go into next year hungry. 8 Credit to Tyler Bass. He had a great postseason - really proud of what he was able to do. Allen also ***** the bed on that final drive - as did Kincaid. All three deserve criticism for how the game ended
  9. Hollins, Johnson, Anderson, Morris will all get signed. Gilliam is the money makes sense (vet minimum ish type deal). Smoot will be gone allen gets an extension and the draft is a safety/corner and dline in two of first three picks
  10. Allen wasn’t pissed with this teammates in his postgame - he was mad that he shifted protection left on the 4th and 5 when Spags drew up the blitz. Allen did not play exceptionally well today. Cook was the most effective offensive player by far. Allen was good, but good doesn’t beat the chiefs in arrowhead.
  11. Oliver is the wrong comparable. The guy has a great game. Rousseau is closer to Edmund’s, all traits but lacks intensity
  12. Manning got one at thirty. Maybe Allen doesn’t win, maybe he does. But using Manning as a comparable is a joke given when he won it
  13. Thoughts on the Worthy catch that stood? Still baffled the league didn’t overturn that call
  14. He and Torrence allowed 6 pressures and Allen faced pressure on an above average rate (42%) I’m not saying VanDemark stinks, I’m just saying Brown is that much better
  15. There is absolutely a huge drop off between VenDemark and Brown. You are going from a top 5 RT that can be left on an island to a serviceable platoon tackle that the other team WILL try to exploit. Brown also gets to the second level in the run game at an incredible level. VanDemark can’t do that
  16. How McD isnt in for coach of the year is crazy. Sean Payton over McD is insane.
  17. I live in Florida, my entire family would fly up. A TON of people would fly in for it - I've even considered buying flights early to make sure I get a seat. I think we would EASILY clear a million people
  18. That second rep against Van Noy is a damn treat to watch. Lateral quickness to match Van Noy's feet, length to just hold him back, strength to maintain stability and stay upright... and finishes by tossing that MFer to the ground. O-line extacy right there
  19. I wonder if Sean was more confident in the defense as he was "running it" and therefore wasn't as aggressive in certain situations. Maybe some false security that his defense that he prepares and works with everyday can handle a safer offensive style.
  20. Chiefs dont run the ball well, and their efficiency comes from Kelce and frankly Worthy. Brown has been quiet since coming back, and Hopkins has been quiet (like Cooper). Bills need to force punts, and Allen and Cook need to carry the ball early and often. Get up and then force the Chiefs to have Mahomes play the absolute best ball of his life to carry his team into it. I'm cautiously looking forward to this game.
  21. I mean... us winning proved that you dont NEED four quarters of great football. Three was enough
  22. Lamar was the MVP for both teams last night - led his team back, but HIS two turnovers cost his team in the end. He looked like he has his entire career, incredible athlete who cant stand and process reads. Once the first read was taken away, he was heads down, curl out of the pocket, look up, and hope the Ravens players could create separation after 4-5 seconds of running around so he could hit an open receiver. The number 1 reason Allen is the MVP is the stat everyone threw around last night for the Ravens - they are 2-6 when Henry doesn't rush for 90 yards. The Bills dont have that stat. It's all Allen. For the Ravens, when King Henry isn't going and it falls to Lamar, they dont deliver. When Lamar is asked to make tight throws or face pressure, he can't do it. That's not an MVP. It wasn't an MVP last year, and it sure isn't one this year. Ravens can take their "Best team on paper" award that's starting to look worn because its now the second year they have won it, and go golf for a bit
  23. WGR feeds into it when their postgame last night by Slop and the Bullfrog starts with them claiming Allen purposefully didnt score on the second down run when he ran it to the 2 yards line at the end of the game to "chew more clock". They ran with it for 5 minutes as their second talking point right after the game. Idiocy to that level only breeds openings for more of it.
  24. Every player and former player thinks they can lay enough lumbar on Allen to get him off his game. When he was younger, yeah you could lay some hits because he would run much more often. With Allen having 4-6 runs a game now (not designed), teams dont have the chance to really lay wood to get Allen off his game. Reed has never played in this NFL trying to get after 6'5 240 Allen. If you try to hit him, its 15 yards for the Bills, and Allen has proven to take multiple hits in a game and keep going. If I'm trying to get Allen off his game, I'm GIVING him running lanes to the left and asking him to run 15-20 times this game away from his strong side. Rush heavy on the right, and hope that Allen is too stubborn to take what's given to him. The trouble is, Allen's growth this year is his ability to take whats given and not over complicate the offense.
  25. This game is incredibly important for McD. Beane is safe - he wont be fired regardless of outcome. If we get smashed by the Ravens, say 35-17 - there will be a LOT of call for Sean to be fired and maybe Brady promoted to HC. Personally, I'm not a fan of this, and I think Sean should 100% be the coach next season, however I could lots of call for change if we go a third year in a row without making the championship game
