  1. I’m confused with all of the defense was bad posts. bills offense gave the patriots the ball inside of our 15, D holds them to a FG Allen has a chance to tie the game at 13, throws a bad pic and now we are on the backfoot defense holds NE to 3 points before the half with some tight coverage (whites PI was a bad play from him, but Milano then does well to force Henry off his line Diggs played well, but the defense shut down every other dimension of the Patriots. The loss is on the offense. Turning the ball over, bad penalties, and lack of run game hurt them
  2. They did what we do to teams. Not turn the ball over, and finish drives in the red zone (barring the halftime possession) Bills played their stinker of the year. I’d bet my life they don’t have three turnovers in a game the rest of the year. this was the Houston game from last year. Sucks, but no team is perfect
  3. Roseman is incredible, but Nick S is an #######. ive mentioned before, but i have family who worked directly for him over the past few years. They hate him. Blames everyone, douchebag personality, doesn’t care about anyone in the building
  4. Great to see. I was a fan of getting him signed, but wasn't sure if $15M would be worth it. To be honest, I still am not 100% that $15M a year made sense, but to get him done at $12M was a GREAT deal. Which doesn't kick in until next year to boot!
  5. I think AJ is a decent player. Maybe not championship starting D-line calibar, but he is a rotational D for most teams. If Jackson can be that as a cost controlled asset for a few years, I dont have any issues with the pick. If I judge the players I wanted who were available but not selected over Jackson: Jaylin Noel - 3 catches for 9 yards this year Xavier Watts - 17 tackles, 2 interceptions Watts has played well, but I dont know that he would have started over Rapp or Bishop. Noel has been a nothing-burger so far. Fingers crossed on Jackson, but even if he doesn't pan out, the picks of Walker/Strong/Hawes have shown to be solid enough for me to forgive his selection.
  6. I was particularly interested in drafting Landon Jackson. I was comfortable taking him at 30th if the board fell into a worst case scenario. From what I was reading, he was struggling with the misdirection and mental side of our system. I'd have liked for him to get some reps, but I'm going to give him time. He was a guy I was high on, so I may be biased, but I think there is a player there. Just needs to develop and adapt to the system. AJ looked bad his first year, and has developed into a rotational piece. I still have that hope for Jackson.
  7. If they struggle into the Bye week, I could potentially see a coordinator change. If it doesn't happen at the bye, I dont think it happens for the rest of the season
  8. Knox absolutely seems like a career Bill, and would take quite the cut to stay with the team
  9. Worthy career stats: 64 catches 721 yards 6 touchdowns longest reception: 54 yards Coleman career stats: 46 catches 759 yards 5 touchdowns longest reception: 64 yards Folks are creating things out of thin air. Coleman has been very comparable to Worthy, while having the longer reception between the two, and averaging a higher yards per catch. I get it, Worthy fast! But in reality, Coleman has shown to be quite solid at those 15-20 yard routes from the boundary.
  10. Worthy looked good... against a defense that Coleman scored on and had 112 yards... Not concerns with the Worthy/Coleman deal.
  11. They need someone who isn’t so expensive with so much baggage. I’d go after Shaheed from the saints if they want a receiver, but I wouldn’t target offense. Go get a great safety or linebacker so you can play more base.
  12. Coleman - 22 targets, 17 catches kincaid - 18 targets, 14 catches shakir - 20 targets, 16 catches i mean, it isn’t like Kincaid and Shakir aren’t getting target share…. All three play a valuable role in the offense
  13. Week 1 is the weirdest week in sports. I never try to read into it.
  14. Lamar was dancing plenty fine through the game and after the play he wasn’t limping or looking too hurt. Maybe he is hurt, but I’d bet a decent amount of coin Lamar plays next week. your team is 1-2, about to be 1-3. You are the 2 time MVP. Your division leader just won this morning to go 3-1 on the year. And you come out for a hammy when you are walking fine? id be pissed if Allen did that.
  15. Last season, Allen is knocked out against the Texans, goes out anyway. This season, punched in the face, broken nose, misses what - two plays? Lamar hurt feelings - out for the rest of the game
  16. Harbaugh taking Lamar out to try to get out of the blame from media for the beatdown he is getting... lol I dont want to hear about Lamar>Allen anymore. It's so obvious Lamar struggles against competent teams it's disgusting to even hear his fans talk about him in the same league.
  17. Bills: 4-0 30+ points each game Have a chance to go 5-0 for the first time in Allen's career Can have a division win against each AFC East team if they win next week Have a RB who is crushing it Top QB in the league No major injuries right now Rookie class that is continuing to develop (Walker/Hawes/Strong stand out) Lots of positives so far, just need to have the train continue to chug along.
  18. Put Dart in, get him some rhythm throws, and see what he can do russ ain’t it
  19. Smart for Russ to leave a clean pocket to run into pressure and then force a sideline throw… brilliant
  20. Chiefs had to go deep into the bag to pull out a run game which finally opened up their passing.
  21. Rice hasn’t played in over a year worthy may have lingering effects we don’t know and, Mahomes is LOOKING to get out of the pocket as much as possible. If they don’t get their running game figured out, and with Kelce looking like *****, rice and Worthy help but I don’t see that making them better than LA/Buffalo/Baltimore, who they play this season still.
  22. Agreed. KC wins this game. But they don’t win against half the teams in the AFC at this rate
  23. We did just watch Walker make an incredible quick play to fire off the line and force the INT against Tua
  24. Mahomes has thrown the ball 23 times in the first half. This is the worst KC team he has ever played with. no run game little pass protection bad TE play no WR separation their only hope is Mahomes breaks contain, either runs for big yards, or holds it long enough for someone to scramble drill I think KC may not even make the wild card at this rate. It’s that rough
  25. Miami ALWAYS plays Buffalo hard as long as Tua stays healthy throughout. Bills winning margin where Tua plays the entire game: 10 - last night 3 - Bass FG last year 7 - Week 18 game 28 - Diggs 3 TD game 3 - Bills snow game 2 - Miami win Outside of the one blowout 2 years ago, Miami has ALWAYS been a tough opponent. There are no bad teams in your division, they are always the toughest matchups. I dont think you are giving enough credit to Miami as an NFL team, not every game is going to be a 4 possession victory. Regarding your statements that Josh is holding the ball more, or that the offense is sputtering, or that we should have both a short passing game that is effective and impactful, as well as a downfield passing game, I think there is an understanding of defenses now that needs to be acknowledged. Teams you play against gameplan against you. In 2020/2021 when Allen was at his offensive production peak as a downfield passer, teams weren't defending with a soft zone two high safety look. One on one matchups were more common, and single safety looks let Allen push the ball downfield more frequently. Unfortunately, teams have smartened up and adjusted to QBs who can extend plays and now sit in zones taking away the top of the field, forcing QBs to take rhythm throws, dump offs, or QB scrambles. With that last sentence, I think we see why yesterday looked or appeared sloppy. It's obvious that Allen is not trying to run as much as he used to. It's early in the season, he dealt with a hand injury all of last year due to his superman cape in week 1, and most likely doesn't want to face that again. When he scrambles right, he isn't running as frequently, he is looking to pass, and throwing into tight windows as opposed to picking up 4-7 yards and taking a hit. As the season moves along, and as we get into games that are really important (down late, end of season, playoffs), I have no doubt you will see Allen carry the offense more, as he has done in previous years, and as he will continue to do. Brady is trying to insulate Allen by creating an offense that let's Allen sit in a safe pocket and hit timing throws. It's worked through three weeks to the tune of 34PPG which leads the NFL. It's not as explosive, but it's still effective. I think a lot of fans need to realize that a non-explosive offense that still puts up points is OK
