  1. If I'm trying to win a Super Bowl this year or next year? I think he does. This team has a lot of security around the positions that matter - OT, QB, MLB, CB. I dont think Beane listens to any deals that would potentially impact those areas. I'm not listening for deals for those guys if I'm trying to win now.
  2. Untouchable (wont take calls on these guys) Allen Brown Bernard Benford Dawkins Taron Johnson Overpay Required Rousseau Oliver Shakir I think everyone else I'd listen for the right price
  3. Kwon was a good player for the bucs for a few years, but has fallen off hard. I think he would be like a Deion Jones type signing at this point.
  4. He stunk because the only way MVS is effective is with a stellar deep ball QB, and Allen just isn't one. Allen is amazing in a lot of ways, but a tight contact deep shot is not a STRENGTH of his.
  5. Which is ironic because I saw all of the predictions that the first 6 games of the season would be tough and this was a super challenging schedule as a whole. The reality is the NFL has a lot of mediocre teams this year
  6. Yea, the only reason I'd go to New Orleans is if they could do a tear down and rebuild. Their division isn't particularly strong, and a top 5 pick to get your franchise QB in may be nice.
  7. The Saints should absolutely go with Ben Johnson at this point. His offense has just produced a 6 game stretch that is incredible, and he would get something out of Carr and Kamara.
  8. Shakir is hard to gauge because he just doesn't get a ton of targets. 45 targets through 8 games is not that many - 90 a year puts him at #50 last year, bottom end of WR2. If he was on a team where he could play #1 receiver lines (which I truly think he could), he would be getting another 30-40 targets a year. He would EASILY be a 1300 yard guy with that type of volume.
  9. If I’m a coach, I’m sending Taylor jumping every play to the officials and league not only before the game, but after every offensive drive by Kansas City during the game. the lack of ability of the NFL to call a guy who does it EVERY play is utterly laughable
  10. I mean, they are both pretty transformative drafts. Mcduffie is a slight > to Bernard Rousseau is a slight > to Karlaftis (MISSED THAT THIS WAS 2021 - Disregard!) Pacheco = Cook Bernard slight > to Chenal Shakir big > to Moore Then you have Araiza who is a starting punter in the league and Elam who looks to be our future CB2 against Watson who is their CB2 and Cook/Williams. I think the Chiefs drafted the best player out of the bunch with McDuffie. However, I think the Bills draft a better set of core starters with Shakir/Bernard/Cook/Benford So not sure why there is a gap for you from Decent to Transformative...
  11. If I'm reading things right, Von + Knox + Samuel cut in 2025 offseason leading into 2026 would result in $34M in cash off the books (Cap-dead cap). Would think that would be enough to sign Bernard +Shakir long term. Then use the other money to try to get Rousseau and Benford done. Maybe another extension for Allen to kick money down the road.
  12. Agreed. This is the new core. They will get 4-6 year deals each, and I'd think Beane will let other aging players go to make sure these guys stick around (Knox, Milano, Daquan Jones, Douglas). The one player that will be the "surprise" is Cook. Beane will continue with his running back by committee approach and Cook can go sign for good money somewhere else.
  13. I still have no idea what the "sky judge" is in the NFL. On calls like that, the sky judge needs to call down and inform them that it is not a hold. Like this is getting insane.
  14. Yea it’s all moot at this point. Their season is over. 2-6 and they have aging Hill and Ramsey on bloated deals. They have a rough future
  15. I’d say at best 4-4, the Seahawks smoked them week 3. They invested in a QB who is glass and their coaching staff is subpar. Their team is also thin at a lot of positions
  16. I thought it was going to be a punt for sure. When they trotted Bass out I was surprised but not exactly nervous. The kick leaves 4-5 seconds left which isn’t really enough for anyone else to do anything. surprised, but not shocked
  17. And their coaching. They seem to find ways to lose. They are 1-3 in games Tua started, and their only win was the big Tyreek hill touchdown in week 1. they were not a playoff caliber team coming into the year, healthy Tua or not
  18. That's a BAD defense. You have a rookie with Chop - that's the only capable d-lineman Long was ABUSED in week 2 Ramsey and Fuller are decent, but safeties are bad. If we dont put up 30+ on this defense I'll be SHOCKED
  19. The Bills play crappy divisional teams which will help them. Ravens and Steelers will beat eachother up, the Texans are by no means in good shape with their injuries. I dont think that Houston get a better record than us - i think we are looking at either the 2nd or 3rd seed unless we run the table.
  20. So with all of the dolphins injuries, what does their 11 on D look like?
  21. Exactly. They played a good team without their two best receivers, where their kicker missed two field goals. i think they lose to the cardinals, us, and rams at a minimum
  22. Big time they also are using outside runs with Will Anderson out
  23. They have lost their only two decent receivers. And their kicker has now missed two kicks that he usually makes. they aren’t a super impressive 6-2 team, but their are better than this game shows
  24. Those Matte black helmets for the jets are actually very nice. Real clean look
  25. Cook and Hall are a wash I personally would take Wilson as a full on boundary guy over Shakir. I just think he is a touch more dynamic as a route runner. i like Williams a bit more than Oliver Benford is better than Gardner - I consider Sauce the most overrated player in the league. the two groups are relatively comparable
