  1. It's only a colossal mistake if he pays him top 5 money. Mid first round pick that produced at least average starter level snaps for 5 years is not the worst that can happen. If it is, you have done very well.
  2. If they will take star and his contract I may even lean towards a 3rd for doing us a solid on Star.
  3. Sure, even if Beane thought he was abysmal he wouldn't say it. He is stuck with him for a minimum of one more year and he would like return on investment if he does decide to move on. I'm not saying he is abysmal, Edmunds just isn't a playmaker.
  4. Yeah, an extra dollar over your health, such a waste in talent. He got to the top, made his money, and got out with his health. What a fool.
  5. Not 100% true, not beneficial to known athletes. Small school athletes could benefit greatly. Though I do agree with the players, all the testing should be optional. Interviews and medical should be all that matters at this point for prospects.
  6. It's not a horrible move in theory but if you have to give up a 1st that's a big no.
  7. Good thought but I don't see it. 2 #1s at least, maybe more. Can't see Beane doing that for 1 guy.
  8. Well in 2020 I can say the Offense stunk too, so the defense doing well would have made it closer but probably still doesn't produce a win. This year, Josh couldn't have played any better.
  9. Mahomes played terrible in the second half, period the end. Actually made me mad, why couldn't he implode against the Bills? Instead Burrow gets all the credit for doing nothing special. P.S. yes I'm still bitter about the game.
  10. I would actually have more respect for them in that scenario. Work is work.
  11. I can only imagine how gullible these "ladies" had to be. Man disappears for an hour or so and leaves you in the room and your still waiting? Or he comes in and out every 30 minutes? Either way, it's only possible to pull off if the ladies are willing to put up with almost anything.
  12. Isn't the winning proceeds taxed and therefore already helping fund it if its done with taxpayer money? No one gets to control where their tax money goes, probably a good thing since society can't agree on even simple stuff these days lol.
  13. I suppose I've lost interest or ran out of free time. I used to watch alot of football, regardless of teams. Now if it isn't a playoff game or the Bills I'm out usually, unless I just happen to be sitting in front of a TV.
  14. I could be wrong, but everything I've ever seen on Donald says he is at least decent with his money. Seems like a reasonable human being.
  15. Rarity, they bet the house on last night and it worked. Fact is it usually doesn't, it costs the owner a pile of money to do it. Then on top of it, the Rams will be average at best next year or the year after. It's not sustainable. I would prefer the Bills situation, of course winning a SB is part of it.
  16. All I could think was if Allen had the same opportunity as Burrow tonight, he cashes it in.
  17. So glad the Bengals lost, not Burrows fault but I for one am tired of hearing about him.
  18. If I was McVay and assuming I win tomorrow, If I could ride off as a champion to an air conditioned press box for millions a year to talk about football and no real chance of being fired unless people just don't enjoy me? All day I'm gone. Gruden obviously went down for other reasons, but everytime I seen him on the field for the Raiders after leaving the booth I was think man he has to regret this. Talk about football with no repercussions if you are wrong and definitely welcomed back as a head coach if you decide you miss it. No Brainer, Rams cannot sustain the talent level needed for constant success at their rate.
  19. Mainly 4-3, same defense as Alabama. Only reason I wouldn't love this pick is because they know he can only play 2 maybe 3 downs before he needs a breather. He is a freak though.
  20. Seen this a few weeks ago on news outlets, this is more representative of 80% of NFL athletes but sadly we only hear about the 15-20% knuckleheads because it gets clicks.
  21. So you think Rousseau as the #25 pick was either going to be a beast or a bust in year 1? That's foolish, I wasn't even that high on the pick but you can't judge him off 1 year. He showed he could play and has alot of potential.
  22. I wouldn't do it, if for nothing else Rousseau becomes a beast and you draft a bum. I couldn't live with the embarrassment 😔
  23. We were ousted sooner, lost some games we should have won. Though I do think it's a step forward, we know what we have in Allen without question and he has learned how to play controlled chaos in big spots. Didn't work out this year but it will pay dividends later.
