So it's ok to Rooney rule Tee Martin but not Flores? I mean the clubs hands are tied really. They are doing what they must to satisfy a rule. Eh, I get it, the Bengals got it done. Still no one can effectively watch the second half of that game and say KC played their best ball. Kudos to Cincy, they did what they had to do, not their fault Mahomes had a bad game. If you look at Cincys 3 playoff opponents though they got really fortunate. Raiders committed more penalties than known to man, and Cincy got a TD after a whistle. Tannehill imploded, Mahomes played like junk. I'm sour because the Bills didn't have the same luck, we got 110% Mahomes. I'm glad for the Bengals, not happy, but Glad.

You may be right, but I've never seen that many good QBs at one time. Some will most likely regress, could be the vaunted Mahomes, who knows. If we get 6 or 7 all pro type QBs in the AFC as soon as Buffalo gets a QB, that will be brutal.

Makes me think Dorsey won't be OC, promoting from within you don't have to move as many pieces. The OC job is more attractive if the can hire position coaches of their choice.

Honestly seeing Stafford and Whitworth have a shot at a ring is all I care about. Both of them have been great players, Whitworth is what 40? Still playing OL. Ironically his beating on a bad team came in Cincy. Stafford won't retire but Whitworth will with a win.

Brady was obviously very good, I'm just saying compare year 2 Brady to Burrow. Brady worked for everything, he was not a great talent. That isn't a knock btw, if anything it's a compliment.

Burrow has insanely more raw talent than Brady ever did.

Going to sound like sour grapes but I couldn't care less. We got the Chiefs best game, that simple. It's not so much how the Bengals won, it's how the Chiefs lost it. They were trying cute plays on the 2 and 3 yard line etc. Mahomes was half the QB yesterday that he was against the Bills. I get it, people will say Cincys defense made that true. I would want to say yes so badly, but remember he's a guy that throws tantrums when he doesn't get targets. Talent wise though it would be a no brainer.

If he is solely focused on his career he would stay in Buffalo if offered the OC position. Established team and a franchise QB is the fastest way to a HC position.
