  1. Obviously sweeping generalizations are never 100% true, but this post is pretty accurate from my own experience. On a much smaller scale, I’ve been in a similar scenario and it was a complicated situation (talking about being in a “family business /office” not being a billionaire!) Not trying to be an apologist for rich A holes, but I do believe that malice or substance abuse isn’t always the root cause of the disfunction. Sometimes plain old stupidity & ignorance go to battle in a steel cage match. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️
  2. Happens semi regularly after my beer league hockey games despite the facilities being “nice”. Sure there’s worse things but it’s still not exactly fun.
  3. Got 4 available for Monday night in section 109, row 27. Two seats off the aisle between 109 and 110. Would rather sell directly to Bills fan and save us each some fees. $165 each or best offer, PM me.
  4. My buddy has been hitting me up on going to see A Perfect Circle at Red Rocks in April. I’m definitely listening….ha
  5. Of course you never know until election day, but it’s been polling around 60% so yes it’s expected to pass. Issue 1 (a measure to enshrine reproductive rights in the state constitution) is expected to bring a lot of people out to the polls and should “help” issue 2 pass. I sure hope it passes, as it should open up more career / business opportunities for someone who recently obtained a masters degree in medical cannabis science & therapeutics….😏
  6. Adult use / rec on the ballot in Ohio today.
  7. I think he’s mentally wrecked right now. Looks like rookie Josh. Some flashes of brilliance with a bunch of panicking in the pocket, although now he’s had the running taken away which used to be the fall back. Coaching? Off the field stuff? Supporting cast? Combo of all the above? Who knows. Seems to me like he’s on full tilt and I don’t believe the current staff can pull him out of it.
  8. Couple years ago before we played the fish at home, I had to run down to the car to grab a cooler and bring it back up to the hotel room. A nice guy held the elevator door for me and I hopped in with him and his wife. We exchanged pleasantries and quick thoughts about the game the next day. Wasn’t till we were getting off and the woman said something like “did we leave that jacket at Josh’s?” that I realized it was his parents. They looked familiar but couldn’t place it until she said that. In our brief interaction they seemed like very nice / genuine people.
  9. I’ve been to the top of peak 6 on a windy day when they literally stopped the lift a few chairs after we got off. Wind was almost blowing us over up there. Thought my wife was going to kill me for dragging her up there 😂. Loved the runs though!
  10. Taos is on my list too. Certainly don’t think it’s geared towards beginners! Some of those steeps there look crazy.
  11. Have not. Fernie was actually the first time I’d ventured north of the border to shred. Would definitely go back for a day trip but would probably do it on a whim when conditions were good. Banff is like 4.5 hrs from our place, will probably have to do an overnight up there sometime. Would love to take a couple weeks and do a big circle on the powder highway, looks like an absolute blast.
  12. Wife and I bought a condo in Whitefish, MT a couple years ago so it’s been hard to go anywhere else since then. Last year I got three trips in, probably only two this season. Will be heading out there this weekend though to work on a couple projects so I’m sure looking up at the mountain every day will have me chomping. Our place is only like 10 minutes from the ski resort so it’s super convenient. 5-6 minute walk through our neighborhood and can catch a free bus up to the mountain or into downtown (bout a mile). Even though it’s so close, we’ve done a bit of exploring. Did a day trip up into Fernie, BC last year (2 hrs) which was pretty cool. Conditions were brutal (horrible vis & light rain) but we still had fun. The bowls there are no joke, pretty steep stuff. Also checked out a locals hill about 45 minutes away down near flathead lake called blacktail mountain. It was a real hidden gem, especially with our 6 year old. Old school, family friendly, no frills type place with friendly workers and great runs. Had perfect weather and incredible views all the way to Glacier National Park. Have some friends that live out in Tahoe that we will probably get out to try and see next year so should be able to check out Palisades. Also high up on my list of places to try is Sun Valley. Columbus is getting nonstops to SLC back next year I believe so probably will try to get out to one of the Utah resorts at some point as well. I could spend every day on the mountain and be happy.
  13. Definitely going to and put the date & final score 😂
  14. Still have a hole in my basement wall. It’s there until we win it all.
  15. Seemed fairly fn close to me. No way it should have gotten to that point…
  16. It was a frustrating game to be at. Crowd had its moments but lots of 🤦🏻‍♂️. Always good to get a win but it was not the most enjoyable game to be at. Purely speaking on game alone, the night game atmosphere is always fun.
