I think close to a billion dollars is still a significant obstacle for anyone, no matter how rich they are. I’m sure with all the public money involved in the new stadium project, there are probably some pretty ironclad provisions regarding relocation. And I’m not sure the NFL can just “revoke” a franchise.

Since the Sabres also suck and aren’t what we were hoping for, I’m focusing on ski season. Annual “guys trip” coming up quickly in mid January. Have been diligent riding the Pelaton to get the legs ready and going to get a little “warmup” in Ellicottville over new years. Also supposed to be going to the Bills game vs the Pats on NYE, but may end up skipping the game and staying in the slopes depending on the results of the next few weeks 🙄…🤦🏻‍♂️

This may be the booze talking but I think I’ve come to the realization that he’s not bringing home a ton of hardware, like we may have thought 2-3 years ago. Obviously nobody will be Brady but I’m thinking Josh ends up with more of a Favre / Rodgers / Big Ben type career because of his roller coaster play. Sign me up for that every day of the week but unless something drastically changes I don’t see the consistency needed to get a bunch of rings. At this point, I think Mahomes might be the only one that has this. I think we might see a run of 7-8 different Super Bowl wining QBs in the next decade. Hope 17 hits my prediction and also proves me wrong…😏

Obviously sweeping generalizations are never 100% true, but this post is pretty accurate from my own experience. On a much smaller scale, I’ve been in a similar scenario and it was a complicated situation (talking about being in a “family business /office” not being a billionaire!) Not trying to be an apologist for rich A holes, but I do believe that malice or substance abuse isn’t always the root cause of the disfunction. Sometimes plain old stupidity & ignorance go to battle in a steel cage match. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

Happens semi regularly after my beer league hockey games despite the facilities being “nice”. Sure there’s worse things but it’s still not exactly fun.

Of course you never know until election day, but it’s been polling around 60% so yes it’s expected to pass. Issue 1 (a measure to enshrine reproductive rights in the state constitution) is expected to bring a lot of people out to the polls and should “help” issue 2 pass. I sure hope it passes, as it should open up more career / business opportunities for someone who recently obtained a masters degree in medical cannabis science & therapeutics….😏
