  1. I understand Ryan came from a really wealthy family. In fact the butler used to call him "Master Bates"
  2. A great Bill, I'm very sad to see him go. But now the Boogie Basham Era begins !
  3. Budget Deadline Missed !!! "ALBANY — Legislative leaders and Gov. Kathy Hochul will miss their midnight budget deadline as state lawmakers on Thursday prepared to leave the capital for a long weekend —" https://nypost.com/2022/03/31/albany-takes-long-weekend-as-ny-budget-expires-bail-unresolved/
  4. Most likely they are happy with the old ticket arrangement and don't want to pay new PSLs fee. In some other stadiums, good seats on the 50 yard line can run as high 20-40k per seat. Then on top of that you have to purchase season tickets. I could see where many Bills fans don't want that additional cost
  5. Not true. Its entirely possible that Beane's friend showed Zig Beane's texts !!
  6. Beasleys agent trying to fix the phone because it's not ringing
  7. How did you come to tax hike number ? Also Erie C is pitching in 200m so that's a double tax hike for them
  8. Some interesting quotes from a NY times article: The public dollars, which still need to be approved by lawmakers, would cover about 60 percent of the projected construction costs, a percentage that is slightly lower than in recent stadium deals in similarly small markets in the N.F.L. But the overall subsidy is the largest amount earmarked for an N.F.L. stadium since Clark County in Nevada issued $750 million in bonds to help pay for the construction of a new arena before the Raiders moved to Las Vegas in 2020. Ms. Hochul, a Democrat, unveiled the agreement just four days before the state budget is due in Albany, giving lawmakers a relatively small window to scrutinize the details of the state portion of the financing that they must ultimately decide whether to approve. The subsidy is bound to make the already fraught state budget negotiations even more contentious, with some left-wing Democrats from the downstate region already denouncing the public funding as corporate welfare. Public assistance, in the form of tax breaks and free land, has been used to finance the construction of arenas for New York sports teams, but many of the teams, from the Yankees to the Mets, have financed most of the costs themselves. The Giants and the Jets, who play in New Jersey, paid for nearly all of their stadium, which opened in 2010. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/28/nyregion/buffalo-bills-stadium-deal.html Check out the comments under the article, lots of taxpayers extremely unhappy
  9. DJ Moore got 21 million for 3 years. 20m is what Diggs is going to ask for.
  10. Mercedes benz was opened in 2017 at a cost of 1.5 billion. It has a retractable roof. Rams owner almost payed for his entire stadium by himself with very little public financing. He makes his money back in PSLs and corporate luxury boxes. Sofi stadium was 5B
  11. 1B seems to be a pretty large public investment. Atlanta taxpayers only put up 200-300m I believe. And that was payed by out of towners paying a raised hotel/motel and rental car tax. Las Vegas did the same thing. What would the tax hike be per NYS citizen? And what would be the desire for citizens to pay increased taxes in an environment of record inflation and gas prices ?
  12. I saw this caption under the picture of Pegula. "Fracking billionaire Terry Pegula, who owns the Bills, has a fortune estimated at more than $7 billion. He’s threatened to pull the team from Buffalo unless he gets public funds to help build a new stadium." The 1 billion will be a significant tax hike to the citizens of NYS and Erie County in addition to the cost of PSLs and season tickets.
  13. 13 seconds could be Beasleys new rap name
  14. Huge upgrade to Beasley. If he can stay healthy, his career could flourish with Josh throwing to him
  15. After the Moore contract don't be shocked if Diggs posts another emoji
  16. Thanks for that. I've been working on some new whipping boys and I was thinking about Dorsey. How about "Our offense seems very stale under Dorsey, we should never have let Daboll go" It's obviously a work in progress but this is what I have so far.
  17. Beane felt like Miller would personally be able to tutor Boogie Basham
  18. Wait. But what about Boogie Basham ?
  19. I heard he wanted to play in a dome.
  20. We should have signed J. McKinnon instead !
  21. Please don't make fun of me
  22. I got excited when I misread that we signed J. McKinnon. It was disappointing to find out we signed Mckissic instead
