  1. We’ll see what happens next season. I haven’t watched him as much as you but from what I’ve seen I’m not very impressed.
  2. 🤣 “Out performing Josh Allen’s rookie season?” You know who else outperformed Josh Allen’s first two seasons statically? Players like Zach Wilson and Will Levis. How do I know? Because teams with bad QB’s always bring this up when clinging for hope. In reality it means nothing. Lots of QB’s outpace his production and few end up anywhere near as good as Allen. Of course, there’s a huge difference between the type of prospect Caleb Williams is and what Josh was. Williams was the #1 HS recruit in the country, played at two major college programs, won the Heisman and was the #1 overall pick. He’s played a LOT of football at a high level. Josh’s past is nothing Iike this. It’s been well documented here. Like I said, Williams has physically ability and flashes at times, but he looks horrendous at QB and is making huge errors. It’s not impossible to fix him but it’s not going to be easy. But man he looks like JP Losman at QB. Maybe worse 🤮🤮🤮🤮
  3. He’s had so many chances this season to show something and he’s failed almost every time.
  4. I don’t think they’ll tank but I can’t see them playing motivated. The one guy who’ll want a win is Jeff Ulbrich who is basically a joke of a HC at this time. I’m sure he’d love to put a win va Buffalo on his resume while he’s searching for jobs
  5. According to the NE media Mayo is trying to finish the year strong. While he’s likely safe, he wants to show the Krafts that he’s the right guy to lead because it’s probably been the biggest talking point about the team in the media. The Jets? I don’t think they’ll be tanking but it’s tough to see them get fired up about this game. I’m sure they’ll say the same BS that the Bills coaches/players did during the drought. They’ll want to put good performances on tape, play for each other, play for pride etc. The thing about the Jets if they’ve had so many opportunities to play for SOMETHING and they failed at every one. It will be hard to see them get up for a game that means next to nothing.
  6. Sure that’s part of the problem but at the same time, it’s not like his coach as OC were highly effective. They were horrendous. So is it that big of a loss? The fact that Williams hasn’t shown much progress and instead has regressed should be a big concern. I do think he’s better than what he’s put on tape but it’s going to take a lot of time, effort, and strategy to coach him up. Who knows what he wants. Someone put out to the media that he was “intrigued” by the opportunity but who really knows what he wants?
  7. A lot of players get paid. They still care about their legacy and winning. I woudn’t judge Edmund’s tonight too harshly. He knows his team sucks and is out of the playoffs.
  8. Everything about that drive was a mess between the running of the play clock, the waste of time outs, the play calls, and of course the QB play. Why wouldn’t you just try the 57 yard FG? Considering how the game played out, it’s probably a safer bet than converting 4th and 10
  9. He’s athletic and has a great arm, sure. But his processing and decision making is horrendous tonight. He has no clue where to go with the football. By the end of season 1, the light begins to turn on for rookie QB‘S. Tonight was just brutal. Compare this his performance to Drake Maye last week who had less talent around him and a decent (at best) OC in AVP. No saying that Williams can’t be fixed but he seems to be a broken QB, and it’s going to take a great offensive mind to get him back on track. He is a putrid QB right now
  10. IIRC Caleb Williams made his preseason debut against the Bills. The takes after that game from NFLN and ESPN were all about how “special” Williams was as a QB. It just shows preseason means absolutely nothing. Williams looks lost when it comes to reading defenses and knowing where to go with the ball under pressure
  11. This is the first I’ve done this. Who gives a ***** what uniform the Bills are wearing?
  12. Yeah that would be cool but some fans seems overly superstitious about it. Doesn’t make a different to me
  13. Maybe they can get this guy as the officiant: Marv is up to $500 per video. Love Marv but….man, that’s a lot for a one-minute video
  14. Does anyone really care about uniform combos. Seems there’s a group of fans that are obsessed with what the team’s wearing
  15. No not really. Coleman isn’t that type of player
  16. The thing is, Worthy could have far less production and some Bills fans would be saying the exact same thing as the OP. I’ll say this - Worthy has been a better version of players like Mecole Hardman and Kadarius Toney who Reid always did a great job of using. As far as Keon, he’s played exactly as many had anticipated: Solid Hands Good with Contested Catches Beats zone defenses in intermediate areas Big play potential/YAC Struggles w/ separation Not a natural route runner His biggest knock (speed) hasn’t really been that big of a problem. Despite the slow 40 time, he’s found ways to get open deep as evidence by his 20+ YPC. Again, not sure what the OP was expecting but I think Keon’s flashed enough to be open to the possibly that he could improve to be a solid WR2 It was a very bad penalty. Announcers said it was something about him lifting up shirt to show his stomach. I didn’t get it - just seemed like a routine celebration to me.
  17. No he wrote that he hasn’t been impressed with Coleman verbatim. It was somewhat of a bold take and the OP is rightfully getting the flack he deserves.
  18. I’d move a few more players to good and a few below average to average. Overall though, this is the biggest area where you can criticize Beane and McDermott. They have a nice assortment of “good” players but not enough “great” and hardly any “elite.” Defensive line especially. I think the defense as a whole is better than than they’ve played the past few weeks, but yeah they aren’t going to win low scoring games
  19. I wouldn’t put that much stock into PFF grades. It’s not like he’s been a train wreck and he was a key reason why the Bills held Travis Kelce to one of the worst games of his career. An area where I have seen him struggle is getting off blocks in run defense. I don’t remember this being as big of an issue last season so I don’t know - other than the deft that at times the interior has been really bad this season. The other thing that’s missing is the “splash” plays. We saw a few like the game ending INT versus KC but they’ve been few and far between. I think Bernard will be fine in the playoffs. Not worth worrying about I feel their pain
  20. Makes sense. If you throw this season out (and yeah that’s a huge “if”) his track record against big time QB’s has been pretty solid.
  21. Hence, why I said “no connection to McDermott.” Gotta admit, it’s a good idea on paper
  22. As long as he plays at a high level, I could care less what his hair looks like
  23. I can see this happening in Week 18, but not on Sunday regardless of the standings
  24. There were so many positive reviews of Ladd pre-draft. I think what hurt him is that he’s mostly a slot player and Buffalo likely envisioned Shakir in that spot long term.
  25. This is all but certain. There’s no connection to McDermott but I wouldn’t mind seeing Lou added to the coaching staff on defense. not sure what happened this season but he’s always been very good at defending big time QB’s - notably Mr. Mahomes That’s correct… perfect record otherwise as sickening as it is.
