  1. Ty has really good access in nearby small market teams like Jacksonville and Cincinnati. The team in his own backyard gives him no access. That is his ax
  2. You mean the 2 coaches he fired? That means he’s “running coaches out of town?”
  3. This is where the “meddling” narrative never made sense. If he is so controlling, wouldn’t he micromanage Joe Brady the same way he “micromanaged” Dorsey? I don’t buy that Dorsey was a scapegoat at all. We saw 6 weeks where the offense struggled badly. Over the past two weeks, it’s looked better.
  4. I like Dunne as a writer and think he does a very good. But he does seem to be heavily biased and he doubles down on those biases quite a bit. We saw this with his coverage on Aaron Rodgers which many GB dismissed as pointed…and now we see this with McDermott. Why would anyone care about this?
  5. Last fall, he was one of the best players on the defense. His presence on the edge was a big reason why the Bills led the league in pressure rate while blitzing the least. This year, Von just isn’t the same player. It would be unreasonable to expect him to pick up where left off. As we saw with Tre, it sometimes takes a full year to recover after the ACL injury. But unlike Tre, Von hasn’t shown very much improvement from week-to-week. The past few weeks he faced backup and still has not gotten anywhere near the QB. At this point, it makes you wonder whether he’ll ever get back to the player we saw in early 2022. I’d probably bet that it’s a long shot.
  6. This article shows what a mess the situation in Carolina is with Tepper. But it also illustrates why you want control as a HC. It seems like Reich allowed himself into being talked into drafting Young when he wanted Stroud and hiring coaches from the outside even though they didn’t mesh with his offense.
  7. The problem is that even with his shortcomings, Wilson is a better QB than anyone active on the Jets roster. If anything they should just run a Tebow-like offense that takes advantage of his legs. Let Zach run the ball 10+ times. But yeah, I agree. He’s done in NY. They should move on this offseason ASAP
  8. I always thought the tweets were a reason for the criticism. I think that’s why Nick Wright and a few others have been critical. the funny thing is that no black players in the lockerroom have ever had that experience with Josh in his 6 years in Buffalo. Even as a rookie, he won over the team fast and everyone loves him. A good example that people (especially 16 year-olds) make mistakes on social media and something that happened a decade ago shouldn’t define them. People can change
  9. Shouldn’t this put on page 15934027 of the “talking head says something about Buffalo Bills” thread? This way a lot of people will be able to see it?
  10. I don’t think Elam will be activated again this season. As far as Knox, I think there’s a good chance. A few weeks ago McDermott said they were hopeful but that he might not be ready. He looked pretty ready from the practice footage. He’s fine. Just got his bell rung from an illegal helmet to helmet hit which wasn’t called against Philly…shocker
  11. I can’t your thread got merged. Some of us get suspended for this So we’re calling the victim a liar now?
  12. What exactly did you want Beane to do/say? Should he have trashed Von? Should he have released him?
  13. LOL this was supposed to be the “mic drop” post from @Cheektowaga Chad Didn’t work out that way, eh Chad 😂😂😂 If you want to be critical of McDermott’s game time decision, you can do better than the snow game.
  14. Poona played DE last season and wasn’t nearly as effective as he was in the middle. They should be giving Jonathan Kingsley some reps of Von’s reps at DE
  15. Exactly… which is why I thought it was foolish to assign all the blame to McDermott when it more than likely should be shared equally
  16. They’ve been rotating players on the DL a lot less this year. Part of that is depth
  17. Kincaid is going to be a force in this at the TE for years to come. Draft a R1 receiver next year to (hopefully) take over from Diggs at the end of his contract!
  18. Could this be a union thing? The NFL has decided to not take action and given the fact that the accuser recanted her statement, could taking any action now open the door for liability? 19. I’m guessing these international games have big financial gains because other than the tit doesn’t seem to add very much. The games are never good, it complicated players and coaches lives - potentially puts players at risk, and most fans hate it. I also don’t think it significantly spreads worldwide awareness. International fans already have access to all types of American broadcasts. If they wanted to follow NFL they already would. It just seems like soccer is always going to be the most popular sport worldwide
  20. How quickly things change in the NFL. I remember after beating the Bills in the famous wind game where NE passed 2 times. Belichick was being lauded as a genius and Mac was going to lead NE to the Super Bowl against Tom Brady and Tampa Bay. In defense of Mac, I think had he gone to San Fran instead of Trey Lance, he could have been Brock Purdy. Now he’s too damaged
