  1. Makes me feel a lot better about the 4th string guard. I think the plan might be to use Bates as the swing tackle this year. Dawkins-Ford-Morse-Feliciano-Williams Bates-Ike-Lamp-Hart I really wasn't all that impressed with the Devey and Douglas signings. I like this one much better.
  2. They are classified as LB. Being a 3-4 OLB is not the same as a 4-3 DE. You couldn't draft a 3-4 OLB and expect him to put up the same numbers as a 4-3 DE. The 4-3 DE has a lot less room to operate than a 3-4 OLB, mainly because the 3-4 DEs are much bigger and take on more blockers.
  3. Watch the games. Singletary is embarrassing trying to catch and run. If you think Etienne will have the same running plays called as guys that run high 4.6s, then you need to seriously watch more football in general. The problem with our run game is that Singletary and Moss are too slow. It's too hard to run to the edges with them.
  4. Not even sure what these made up numbers are trying to prove, but Etienne is 10x times better than any RB on the roster. Not to mention, Singletary and Moss are some of the worst pass catching RBs in the league. Etienne would walk in that room tomorrow and put on a school on pass catching from an RB, something this team desperately needs.
  5. Stop looking at it as a RB and look at it as an offensive weapon. Etienne will have a Kamara like impact on a team. He will catch a crazy amount of receptions.
  6. Watt is a LB, not a DE. Same with Landry Alton Robinson Pick 148 2020, 4 sacks Chase Winovich Pick 77 2019, 11 sacks Maxx Crosby Pick 106 2019, 17 sacks Sam Hubbard Pick 77 2018, 16.5 sacks Josh Sweat Pick 130 2018, 10 sacks Dawauane Smoot, Pick 68 2017, 11.5 sacks Deatrich Wise, Pick 131 2017, 14 sacks Carl Nassib, Pick 65 2016, 20.5 sacks Yannick Ngakoue Pick 69 2016, 45.5 sacks Matt Judon Pick 146 2016, 34.5 sacks
  7. Any player that isn't a CB or RB. Go back and look at the last 5 drafts. DEs past the top 10 are a crapshoot. About the same rate of success as any other round. Every other position won't result in immediate help, which I think we desperately need, with the lack of improvement we got from FA.
  8. We are drafting 30th and have an incredibly strong WR core, that's why. They become plug and play when you have a hole. Like a CB at 30th would be plug and play for us, but wouldn't be for other teams.
  9. Not going to draft a WR that isn't going to see the field in year 1. WR have become plug and play. I'll take one next year. Also, Etienne would have a Kamara like impact on this team. He would second to third leading in receptions on this team
  10. The way I look at it, if you can get one of the top CBs (Horn, Farley, Newsome, Surtain) you take him. If not, you look to trade out, or you take Etienne (if he is there) or you reach for Freiermuth. We have the type of DEs that will be available at 30 already. None of them are all that special. I just don't see the value in drafting a back up at 30 either. We haven't gotten better in FA, we need to get a player that is an upgrade to what we currently have starting.
  11. Coaching got Burrow killed. Go watch Burrow's tape from last year and count how many times the guard and tackle had no idea how to read to a stunt. Go back and see how many times Hart was left on an island versus guys like Miles Garrett, Bosa, and Barrett. Hart isn't the best, but I think he can be much better with better coaching.
  12. One major difference between the two, Nysekhe seemed to never be available due to injuries. At least Hart seems to be healthy.
  13. That would be chump change if BCBS gets the contract of a large company for their insurance based upon the Bills relationship. I think people don't realize how much companies pay for health insurance. If BCBS can use Bills game and previous partners to get their company to switch, it is a great investment.
  14. With no criminal case, why would he not play football? Like I stated earlier, all these women are jumping onto a civil case, not a criminal case. Watson clearly is a sex addict, but not sure you can suspend him if these women are not taking the criminal route. Suspending off civil cases is a slippery slope the league can't start doing. I just don't understand if some of these stories are true, why these women are not contacting and working with authorities. It makes zero sense to me. From the stories, he absolutely sexually assaulted multiple women.
  15. Really the only position (besides RB, but I hate drafting RB that early), where the player will come in and start right away. The draft has some really good CBs and we have a hole there.
  16. Kyle Shanahan will make any RB look good.
  17. We need too much help on D to be worrying about an early RB.
  18. If that is good with you, then have fun. I mean it only took Brady leaving the conference to win it, but congrats to Mcdermott for winning a division. That's huge. Who wants an AFC Championship or Super bowl anyways?!
  19. If we are lucky. Butler went from 6 sacks to zero. Star went from 5.5 in his last two year in Car to 2 sacks in his two years in Buffalo.
  20. Addison also had 9.5 sacks before coming to Buffalo. Apply the same decline in Obada numbers. Expect a 50% drop in sacks.
  21. Don't care what his stats were in Carolina, one thing we absolutely know, he will have a significant decline here. Why do we have all these scouts and front office people, if they are only going to sign players from Carolina?
  22. It's a start. Now do Dawkins and Diggs. Let's go for it this year.
